24/09/2025: On Saturday, September 20, 2025, a friend and I went to the Gianpace Refuge. It's a beautiful refuge, a quiet, well-managed, and welcoming place, easily accessible to everyone with a simple walk. The trail is well-marked and not challenging. We ate and drank well. The Gianpace Refuge is featured in this year's Girarifugi della Lombardia (Lombardy Refuge Guide). It's a refuge I discovered this year, and it's worth a visit. The refuge is located in the Bergamo area, in the Orobie Park. You have to reach the village of Valgoglio, and then there's the trail. We visited the village and then took trail 232, which took us just over an hour to the Gianpace Refuge, stopping for photos and to admire the view. I've discovered other Bergamo valleys, as the Gianpace Refuge is located between Val Goglio and Val Sanguigno, in the Alta Val Seriana at an altitude of 1,331 meters above sea level. It was a pleasant trip that I recommend and we also found a beautiful sunny and warm day on our side.

16/08/2025: Private refuge. You arrive at the refuge after a hike on a sunny August day in a beautiful natural setting, but it has a sign saying it's private (only for friends of... and the association...). Another sign: bathrooms closed from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM (precisely during the time when people stop). I wonder what the point is... I'm writing this review so that anyone who hikes these trails can set out with no expectation of refreshments or use of the facilities. It would be nice if this were indicated on Google both at the start and along the trails, when the refuge sign is present several times.

04/08/2025: Bar run by very friendly, helpful, and professional Chinese family staff. Betting shop, tobacconist. Phone top-ups, train and bus tickets. Payment options. Gaming area with video poker. Selection of beers and wines, packaged ice cream, and snacks. Wi-Fi available. Large space with entrance onto the square and the train station platforms. Outdoor seating.

25/10/2025: The place is very casual and simple, perfect for a quick meal. The food is amazing!! They have some of the best pizzas and pastas. Friendly staff and good service.

05/08/2025: Sleeping on a farmhouse, in the middle of the countryside with its scents and colors. Simple but comfortable room, very convenient location for visiting Crema. The breakfast prepared for us by the owner, Diego, was very good. We compliment him on the dedication and passion with which he welcomed and looked after us. It's a shame the restaurant was closed on Monday evenings... a reason to return. Overall, a very positive experience. Marco and Giulia

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the food is simply excellent—you can taste the quality and passion in every dish. The service is impeccable: special thanks to Rosanna, a professional, kind, and always available waitress, who made the experience even more enjoyable. A place you'll always want to return to. Highly recommended! 🍽️👏

09/11/2025: Can’t say anything about the food except the fact we’ve been waiting for at least 15 mins just to have the menu to order and it’s in the Sunday morning so not many people were here. I asked for iced coffee they give the hot one. And what pisses me off is that I sat outside smoking, there is this lady said I can’t smoke here but there are literally two groups of people smoking right next to me. She didn’t even say a thing. I don’t know if I should call this racism, or simply we are just tourists here and look easier to be bullied with. I came here with a good mood now I will definitely visit here with the lens on.

09/11/2025: I'm sorry to write this but I took 3 pizzas paid 26 euros but they were not worth 1 euro I'm very sorry disappointed I absolutely do not recommend it 👎🏻

17/10/2025: A squalid, dirty, smelly place. We asked for a drink, and they brought us a warm 66cl beer. We asked for a cooler, but the waiter took the already opened beer and put it in the fridge to wait for it to cool. We asked for three slices of pizza, and we received three 2mm-thick, foul-smelling slices served on oval steel trays dating back to the 1960s. To our disappointment, the owner, or at least I think he was the owner, replied that he had been serving this type of "tagliata" in Milan for over 50 years, even to Berlusconi. Given our hunger, we asked for a Margherita pizza to share between three of us. While we were waiting, a huge black cat, the restaurant's owner, emerged from behind the pizza counter.

20/11/2025: *Finally* a sushi restaurant that offers a vegetarian box (this one was vegan). Ordered on Glovo, arrived in minutes, varied and delicious. Beautiful and functional packaging (which is why the "environmental" rating is based on this).

29/09/2025: We ordered takeout, and they were very quick and friendly. The sushi was also spectacular. 10/10

14/07/2025: I'm a regular customer, I live nearby and I come here forever, I always get Coccodè, I often ask them to cut it in half, it's the first time I've received disgusting food and the price is 9 euros, the price is going up and the portion is getting smaller and smaller, and now it's even flatter, even the packaging is different 😥 when I open it all wet 🥲 and the chicken is becoming inelastic and dry, which is not the greatest disappointment, it's the hair inside!! I ate the hair but I forgot to take a photo🥲🥲。 first I love cocodè so much though……

22/06/2025: Kind and friendly staff, very clean, tidy and welcoming place, the piadina is super good and the ingredients are of excellent quality.

26/09/2025: Service and availability leave much to be desired. My advice is to care more about the customer than your wallet.

20/10/2025: Very nice place, beautiful and well kept, unfortunately I can't say for the price what I paid (28€ per person), good food, some cold things, in the room where there was the DJ it was a bit cold at the beginning then we had a good time, place that is definitely worth it but with a slightly lower price even 20€ in my opinion would be more fair

08/08/2025: We ordered 9 pizzas for delivery, which arrived super fast, but almost all of them had the toppings practically oozing out of the pizza. The ingredients were delicious, but the pizza dough was really chewy. FAMILY PIZZAS: Ordered in person, made on time, the staff and owner were really kind, but the pizzas had thick, soft dough, difficult to swallow without a good splash of water.
