14/01/2025: The best aspect of our experience at Da Fiore is that the booking experience is efficient. The restaurant was not particularly memorable in any way. I concede that as South Africans we realize time and again that our standards for meals are very high; we pay far less in South Africa for much better quality food and get larger portions so Da Fiore in particular, when compared to the top restaurants in South Africa that are similarly priced, does not offer value for money. The food is okay at best, the service is professional, the prices are simply not justifiable. The clientele on the night that when we went, were predominantly conservative, old and foreign. It matched the feel of the restaurant - polished but of a bygone era.

30/01/2025: I was very dissatisfied with this experience.
I went to eat a plate of pasta with my boyfriend in this restaurant because it had numerous positive reviews and therefore intrigued us, however we had to change our minds.
The menu didn't have much choice and most of the dishes were no longer available, so we opted for 2 seafood pasta dishes.
When they arrived, one of the two plates was almost empty and the quantity of fish present was very small, plus they weren't even all that great.
The prices weren't cheap either, you can find better.
30/01/2025: Lunch at Trattoria Concordia in Portofino:
We were looking for a non-touristy restaurant and in Portofino it is quite difficult, a place that had a homely feel but we stumbled upon a rip-off.
We ordered spaghetti with seafood because the busara ones were no longer available, in addition to the taste which seemed a bit tasteless to us, the quantity on the plates was that of a gourmet restaurant and furthermore poorly divided into the plates, I hope you can see it in the photo taken from my partner.
I don't criticize the prices because we are in Portofino but they are purely tourist prices.

10/11/2024: Me encantó esta experiencia y aunque una pegatina un poco impactada por la pasta de trufa lo haría de nuevo. El servicio fue impecable, el plato de pasta de mesa estaba al siguiente nivel delicioso, las vistas de la ciudad de Portofino son hermosas, me encantó este almuerzo caro, bien valió la pena el dinero!

01/12/2024: Essendo un wine bar serve principalmente vini, comunque c’è un po’ di selezione di gin tonic per chi proprio non volesse gustarsi un bicchiere di buon vino.
Noi ci siamo recati per bere qualcosa prima di pranzo e abbiamo optato per la formula calice di vino + tagliere al costo di 20 euro a persona (questa formula può essere utilizzata una volta sola).
Ci è stato fatto decidere la tipologia di vino tra quelli proposti: bianco, rosé… entrambi abbiamo preso un bianco fermo che ci é piaciuto molto.
In aggiunta abbiamo preso anche un tagliere di formaggi.
Costo complessivo per 2 persone per due bicchieri di vino bianco + tagliere di salumi e formaggio + addizionale tagliere di formaggi = 70 euro (siamo a Portofino quindi in linea con i prezzi ma sicuramente la qualità c’è)

29/12/2024: Beautiful views and amazing staff. It feels like it is straight out of a movie. The food was excellent and we could tell it was homemade pasta. I would live to visit again and it is worth your time and money. As they say.. you pay for the sun.

05/12/2024: I think they are only open until 14.00 in the winter months. We came across it by chance. They make a pizza like pan pizza. We bought two pizzas and one of the starters, we bought a potato and octopus salad (it comes hot). We tried Apple Pie for dessert, we added ice cream on it, I thought it was delicious, the ice cream was especially nice. We paid a total of 61 Euros with one beer, pizzas start from 10 Euros. Service and service were good. My only criticism is that the edges of the pizza were a little too burnt, which gives a bitter taste. This should be taken into consideration because I ate it by cutting off the burnt edges on the underside of the dough, not the burnt edges. The cover fee is 3 Euros.

10/11/2024: Elegant but sober venue, with a view of the port from above. We celebrated my fiftieth birthday with my family a month ago with a tasting menu. Great attention to carefully selected local raw materials. Dishes that are based on local tradition but revisited to enhance the flavors with always innovative combinations of fish and vegetables. Very attentive and easy-going staff in describing the dishes, their genesis and the young chef's philosophy. Unforgettable evening among exceptional wines and a sequence of surprises dish after dish with ecstatic desserts. Advised.
01/10/2024: Romantic dinner with my wife, we have already been to other high-level or starred restaurants and I must say that it is the first time that we have found ourselves disappointed by the quantities on the plate compared to the final price. The tasting menu is undoubtedly made up of top quality ingredients, they were very attentive to my food allergy, but seeing the quantities served to those who ordered "a la carte" I must say that a middle ground between the portions and a little more than generosity for those who choose a complete path would be more appropriate. Nothing to say about the impeccable service, highly trained sommelier but in the end the bill undergoes a surge mainly due to the fact of being in Portofino. To give you an idea, we paid more than in some 2 Michelin star restaurants we have been to. Furthermore, the place had some imperfections that shouldn't be there if we're talking about a restaurant linked to the name of Cracco (some chains of LED lights detached, soap in the men's bathroom ran out at the start of service).
Unfortunately I would not return.

02/01/2025: Almorzamos en este restaurante cuando visitamos Portofino. Este fue uno de los mejores almuerzos que tuvimos en este viaje a Italia. La comida era deliciosa, y me gustaría poder quedarme más tiempo para volver y probar otros platos en este restaurante. Tomé los espaguetis de marisco, y mi marido tomó el risotto con filetes de lenguado. Ambos platos fueron sensacionales, y el vino que elegimos para acompañar el almuerzo también fue delicioso.
02/01/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare il 30 Dicembre in questo ristorante che ritengo sia il migliore tra quelli provati. Ambiente carino e curato, gestito da ragazzi giovani molto preparati e professionali, qualità delle portate alta e servizio eccellente. Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Sarà sicuramente il mio punto di riferimento per la prossima volta.

14/10/2024: Lovely view but there are identical views and far lower prices, you are paying for the Dolce and Gabanna branding which we were happy to do. Contrary to all the comments I didn’t think the service was poor. They don’t really do meals just snacks and drinks but this is a fun experience if you are in to fashion

31/01/2025: The only reason my review is 3stars ha nothing to do with the restaurant, strictly with the view. So if you don't mind paying 116 Euros for two people to have pizza, a bottle of water and one aperol spritz this place is for you. It's 100% intentional for you not to be handed a menu and then the check dropped off quickly like it was an explosive device. When I picked my jaw up off the floor and asked the waiter "is this right?" It didn't occur how many times a day they must answer that question. I knew it wouldn't be cheap as you are paying for the view but 40 euros for a pizza for one is offensive. Nobody likes feeling like a dumb tourist but by the reviews here the restaurant knows what they are doing and have no problem whatsoever. So be warned. An Italian view can be costly.
30/01/2025: Outrageously expensive !! 16€ for coffee and tea from a menu without prices... A tourist trap... Run away and go next door instead..... It's a shame as the setting is nice.
