16/07/2026: Prior to arriving in Portifino on July 10th, 2026, I did a search for best restaurants. Trattoria Concordia came up as the number 1 and the internet was corret. This restaurant is a charming restaurant up the hill and away from the crowded port area. The food was amazing and the service was attentive. I had the stuffed sardines and my wife had a caprise salad. We both had Lasagne Al Pesto Fatte A Mano which was one of the top pasta dishes we had on our trip to Italy. I will definitely return for another meal if I am in Portifino again. Highly recommend this restaurant.

15/07/2026: We just wanted a drink. €10 for 33 cl per person was apparently not enough. We had to eat something. Didn't. Took up and left. Everything in Portofino is expensive, but the prices in this run-down restaurant are ridiculous. Even the table was dirty.

05/08/2026: There was a fly in my food and the food in general wasn't the best; when I wanted to pay I waited 15 minutes and it was also a bit cramped, so it's not worth the price.

26/04/2026: It was certainly an interesting and, in some ways, enjoyable experience, but honestly, I don't think I'd do it again. Let's start with the location: we're in Portofino, so the setting is undoubtedly evocative. However, the restaurant itself didn't particularly impress me aesthetically, and more importantly, it was cold during dinner. The heating wasn't on, and virtually all the guests were sitting in jackets or sweaters: we never managed to remove our jackets either, which impacted the overall experience. Regarding the cuisine, there's nothing to complain about about the professionalism of chef Mattia Pecis: he introduced himself personally, and his great passion and talent are evident. A young but already highly skilled man, he's the restaurant manager and the mastermind behind the menu. I truly have great respect for him. The tasting menu is interesting, with some truly excellent dishes: especially the Russian salad and the "garden of the vegetable garden," both extraordinary and perfectly executed, in true Cracco style but with a lovely personal touch. Other dishes, however, were more divisive: the "eye" was difficult to appreciate, both in terms of taste and aesthetics, while the bitter orange risotto wasn't particularly well received at the table and was even difficult to finish. Overall, the use of very bitter citrus fruits didn't convince me. A very positive note, however, was the customer service: they were extremely attentive to my lactose intolerance, demonstrating care and professionalism. The service overall was impeccable, with friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The opportunity to tour the kitchen and receive explanations, such as how to dry-age the fish, was also greatly appreciated. One aspect I didn't like was the inability to choose different menus at the table: there were four of us and we were all forced to choose the same tasting menu, despite two options available at different prices. Finally, the price: definitely too high for the overall experience. We spent around €1,100 for four (a €210 tasting menu per person plus wine), and honestly, I don't think it was justified given what we ate. In short: an interesting experience, with its ups and downs, but not compelling enough to want to repeat.

12/08/2026: Classic cuisine geared towards tourists, so don't expect miracles. You'll get mega-expensive, subpar dishes. But there's no way out. Tourists won't return, and the money will remain. It's a tradition in tourist destinations.

02/08/2026: We had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite the dining room being empty, we were repeatedly given excuses for why our group of 10 could not be seated for lunch, including that they “couldn’t do 10 people” and “wouldn’t have enough time to cook,” even though the restaurant was supposedly fully booked with no one inside. Their attitude toward us felt dismissive and discriminatory, and we were made to feel unwelcome. This was unacceptable and completely unprofessional, and I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting fair treatment. We have a very delicious experience in this ristorante. Notwithstanding the local pit completely seen, its state date varies due to the fact that it is served in a group of 10 people, it means that 10 people are not allowed and that it is not cooked at a time for cooking, but it is fully cooked. The attitude of the personal here is consistent and discriminatory. If you feel this is not welcome, it is unacceptable and very serious. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the room was empty, we were given several excuses for refusing to serve us lunch as a group of 10, including that they couldn't accommodate 10 people and wouldn't have time to cook, all while claiming to be full. The staff's attitude struck us as contemptuous and discriminatory. We clearly felt unwelcome, which is unacceptable and deeply shocking.

27/06/2026: By 1:55 pm they weren't letting anyone else sit down. They charge €4 for the cover charge, but hey, that's what you can expect in Portofino. The pasta dishes were good.

27/06/2026: We ordered gnocchi gamberi, pesto lasagna, spaghetti Congolese, and fried anchovies. Everything was excellent.

08/05/2026: We had a very good meal, the staff were particularly friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. A very good place to eat.

06/05/2026: We had lunch there and ordered two types of pasta: penne and Alfredo spaghetti. The spaghetti was incredibly rich. We also ordered a fried chicken strip, which was delicious. The only downside is that it's charged 5 euros per person, plus there's a tax on every order. They could have just offered one of the two. And I thank Ms. Nisreen for her excellent service.

20/07/2026: The staff’s behavior was discriminatory, and I found their attitude to be unprofessional and disrespectful. It was a very disappointing experience and not what I would expect from a place that welcomes visitors. If this reflects the café’s policy, then it is deeply concerning and damages its reputation. If it does not, I hope the management will reconsider its hiring and training practices, especially since the café is located in a tourist area that welcomes visitors from many different nationalities and cultures. Every customer should be treated with respect and equality, without discrimination.
