The service and attentive service are excellent, and the ingredients are expertly selected and prepared by Chef Mara, a Michelin-starred chef for 25 years. In short, if you want to experience Venice, Osteria Da Fiore is the best choice, even if you have food intolerances that might cause you concern. The restaurant is well-equipped, and you can enjoy a delicious and worry-free experience. Enjoy Venice!
06/03/2026: Disappointing value for money. An appetizer of moleche (six moleche) cost €70, presented as "off-menu" with no price listed. Two first courses of tagliolini au gratin with scampi (not much) and radicchio, where the cheese and radicchio "killed" the flavor of the fish. Two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, and a dessert: total €200. Expensive, and the quality of the dinner, price aside, didn't leave a good impression. The service was friendly and courteous.

14/10/2025: A very bad experience. We were seated at the very back of the terrace, at a rickety table, under broken decorations that were in danger of falling. The welcome was cold, almost contemptuous, and we can't help but think that this treatment was linked to our appearance. This feeling of exclusion and discrimination is unacceptable, especially in a place that is supposed to welcome everyone. Avoid.

13/03/2026: For a ”pizzeria” the quality of pizza is extremely low as they serve frozen pizza dough that was burnt. You can get better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. Also calculated the bill way higher than it should have been. Luckily we noticed and didnt get scammed.
13/03/2026: The pizzas were small and not very good; at the end they tried to charge us €95 instead of €83. We are international students and I find that very unfair…

06/08/2025: Potessi metterei una valutazione ancora più alta di cinque pallini. E’ un ristorante fantastico con personale preparato ed accogliente. Sapori tradizionali, ma anche innovativi e pensati come il risotto al pesto e gamberi. Un classico i pacchetti e le trofie. La cotoletta un must anche se al mare! Tutto superbo dalla A alla Z!
02/08/2025: Ci sono stato diverse volte in quanto piace alla mia compagna.
Per me come quello che ha preso il posto al Pitosforo con Portofino non ci azzeccano nulla nel modo piu assoluto.
Sono dei brand ,fumo tanto arrosto molto poco.
Piacciono a questa nuova tipologia di clientela......di burini.
Fossero in grado di cucinare e,soprattutto pulire un pesce ai ferri sarebbe gia' qualcosa.

24/11/2025: Since my first review has been removed, probably because the shop wants to improve their average rating without even considering improving their service first and taking the feedback seriously, here is my review again.
The two espressos costed over 10€, which is high, but yeah, take a look at the menu, it is disclosed there. Does not make it better though. What was really bad was the service. The waitresses were super bored and unfriendly and condescending to me and my friend even though I am always friendly and I wear a smile on my face. I hope this shop closes soon and makes space for another, better one.

The restaurant overlooks the marina.
The friendly and helpful staff served us promptly.
The seafood was fresh and truly delicious.

08/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. We came for lunch with high expectations, but unfortunately the service was terrible. The owner immediately appeared rude and unprofessional, even abusing the staff in front of customers, which was truly unpleasant to see.

21/01/2026: Bar Mariuccia is perfectly located to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Portofino Square. There are no reservations, so it’s best to arrive a bit early to secure an outdoor table and take in the views and scenes around you. We stopped by for an aperitivo, which we really enjoyed. We didn’t try the food, but the experience and setting alone made it worth the visit.
28/10/2025: wonderful views, right in the heart of the harbour, with suitably strong aperol spritz! be warned, if you are budgeting this place may not be for you, but if you can afford it, this is a wonderful way to enjoy portofino!

30/07/2025: CoverCharge to sit down not even mentioned? Hidden charges....This is a RipOff bad example of a place to visit. Go elsewhere as we had to $5 glasses of wine which is all we wanted and made us buy Caprese. Over $100 Euro. Charged $12 cover charge per person & a 10% tip on the cover charge, LOL, plus other fees. We basically paid $100 Euro for two glasses of wine & bread. Bad experience for Portofino

The servers were very friendly; however, almost all the dishes on the menu (except coffee and bruschetta) were frozen and reheated shamelessly in front of us.
A 50cl bottle of water for €4??? If only we had known beforehand…
28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.
