26/02/2026: A very charming and welcoming place, run by the talented Chef Bandana (Massimo), a friendly and efficient man, he offers cuisine inspired by local traditions... enhanced by some delightfully refined touches! We enjoyed a delicious appetizer, exquisite tonnarelli with red meat and mushroom sauce, a fantastic stew, an excellent beef steak, and a genuine mixed salad. We finished the meal with delicious tozzetti and coffee. The price/quality ratio is extremely favorable. Worth a visit. ... and we returned a second time with great satisfaction!

The cuisine is excellent, and Elisa's welcome was truly a plus. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the venue's manager, Mr. Maurizio, a delightful and elegant person, who helped us experience the true soul of this historic building. Recommended for anyone seeking a unique, original, yet traditional experience rooted in the authentic values ​​of life.

05/01/2026: A shameful and unacceptable experience. I ordered a personalized cake, sending all the instructions very clearly, including a precise photo and specifying the text, decorations, and type of cream. Before ordering, I was assured that everything was fine. Evidently, this is not the case. The requested text was "Happy Birthday, Empress 21." The one I received was incorrect, with a word written in a nonsensical way, making the cake look embarrassing. Getting the wording wrong on a personalized cake is a serious mistake, demonstrating complete carelessness. Two decorative balls were added that were NEVER requested, completely random, not shown in the reference photo, and never agreed upon. Clearly, people decorate without even looking at what they're asking for. But the worst part is the quality of the product: I had requested Chantilly cream, but instead I received pastry cream, a completely different flavor than what I ordered. The sponge cake was disgusting, dry, heavy, and of such poor quality that the cake was barely eaten. Not to mention the way the cake was covered: edges without cream, gaps, and a cut in the top of the cake—a real disaster! Mistakes in the writing, decorations, filling, and even the base of the cake: a collection of errors that demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. After this experience, I categorically advise against this place, especially if you're looking for a personalized cake for an important occasion.

24/02/2026: Today, while exploring Tuscania, we stopped at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease right away. We started with a beef tartare with raw artichokes, broccoli, and hazelnuts: an original and truly delicious combination. The cheese selection was also excellent, with a wide variety and distinct flavors. For main courses, we chose pork tenderloin with apple sauce and a sliced ​​beef steak with artichokes and truffle: carefully prepared, flavorful, and of the highest quality. What can I say... an experience worth repeating! Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: We're a group of Spaniards in Tuscania. We've been to several different places, and they've all been really nice except for this one. First of all, due to the language barrier, they brought us a pizza board that we NEVER ordered (she tried to give us the leftovers). She told us she only had that, and when we told her we wanted something else, she said goodbye. Once we paid for the drink, we were about to leave, and the owner said she'd made us a whole pizza (it had a tomato-based crust, nothing else, and again, WE NEVER ORDERED THAT), and she ended by saying that we should be Spanish and go back to our own country. The rest of the waiters were very nice. The owner was unpleasant and xenophobic. EDIT: I'm editing the review so I can respond to the owner. We arrived at 8:50 p.m., when the place, on Google, says it's open until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you want to close early, it's not your customers' problem, as they arrived more than two hours early. If not, change the hours you listed on Google. Secondly, we NEVER got around to ordering ANYTHING. You brought us the leftovers you had, and when we paid for our drinks because you kicked us out for not wanting the leftovers, you said as we were leaving that you were making another pizza we DIDN'T ORDER. A pizza that was on the counter and was just dough and tomato, nothing else. At least you're not denying that you're a xenophobe who told us to go back to our country; that does you credit. I repeat: If you're coming from outside, don't visit this place. There are many others where you'll be treated with love and respect, and where you'll eat incredibly well.

14/03/2026: The dining experience at "Da Alfreda" was, overall, disappointing. Analyzing the dishes, the main courses were pleasant. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the first courses: the cacio e pepe, in particular, was excessively oily. Overall, the first courses were passable and in line with the prices, but they offered nothing memorable. However, the main flaw of this establishment lies in the service, which was completely subpar and bordered on rude. The main aggravating factor was the complete absence of a printed menu: the entire menu was listed to us verbally in a hasty and perfunctory manner. It's unthinkable to expect customers to instantly memorize a list recited in that manner; yet, the waitress showed obvious and unjustified disappointment at our concerns, categorically refusing to give us the time we needed to consider our choices. The height of rudeness was reached when we ordered side dishes: with a snarky and clearly irritated attitude, the employee literally turned her back on us and walked away from the table while we were still talking. This level of arrogance toward customers is unacceptable and irreparably compromises the overall experience. Strongly discouraged.

09/03/2026: Stumbled upon it by chance, on a business trip. This osteria is nestled in a very characteristic location. Nestled in a beautiful medieval village, this restaurant serves fresh, local food of a quality reminiscent of what our grandmothers used to make. Highly recommended, excellent value.
