29/12/2024: I chose this place to celebrate my graduation and was immediately enchanted by it. The location in question has an incredible view, the swimming pool is open all year round, and is an integral part of Villa Mercede, a jewel at the entrance to Frascati, one of my favorite areas of the Castelli Romani. The professionalism of the maître Nicola makes "La cucina con vista" a restaurant of great prominence; he assisted me at all times, making sure my guests were comfortable and enjoying the event, it was as if he was watching over us. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly, in line with the elegance of the venue. The refined and tasty food was the confirmation of having chosen the right restaurant and which I would recommend a million times to everyone, not only to celebrate events but also to spend a quiet evening enjoying a splendid view. Congratulations again to all the staff, well deserved. Keep it up! ❤️

01/12/2024: I give 5 stars because I don't want the review score to be lowered.. I respect all activities and people who work.. The cuisine needs to be totally improved... I thought it would be better... it's really a shame because I would go back... staff friendly, clean room with panoramic view.. Unfortunately I question the quality of the dishes prepared... tasteless and lukewarm.. My advice but it matters little.. change the menu!!

14/01/2025: This Saturday I went to Viecce with my brother, I took the sandwich of the month and it was superb, despite it being huge and beautifully loaded it didn't stay on my stomach (it must also be due to the excellent IPA beer served which helped me digest ). The guys were very kind and welcoming and the place no less. I've already gone there several times in the past and I've always wanted to go back, on Saturday I had confirmation, a full 5 star experience. ~ Alessio

06/01/2025: The experience was flawless from the start. While we waited they offered us smoked scamorzine wrapped in bacon, a touch of originality that made the welcome even warmer. The owner's passion clearly shines through: not only through the quality and care of the dishes, but also in the joy with which she welcomes each guest, making everyone feel at home, but with the service and professionalism of a high-level restaurant. We opted for a complete, rich and varied mixed starter, which included cured meats, cheeses and hot specialties such as cacio e pepe meatballs, chickpeas with truffle cream, Roman tripe, rustic pie with courgettes, tomato and lentil meatballs. Each course was prepared with quality ingredients and perfectly cooked All at a surprisingly honest price: truly unbeatable, especially considering the generosity of the portions. The kindness and friendliness of the staff, combined with the extraordinary quality of the food, made this experience a pleasant discovery during a walk in Frascati. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that combines tradition, taste and hospitality.

16/12/2024: Very nice place. For sure, one of the best in Frascati. The lady holding the place is very kind. She is the main chef, but she is also the waitress. She makes you feel like you are in her house and she will cook something just for you. It has special feeling. We had a plato of mixed antipasti and it was very nice and quite big. It was supposed to be for one, but it was enough for two. The pasta, after that, totally finished us. It was very tasty! We were so full! We had to take what was left for home. I recommend the place 👌

13/11/2024: Rustic and very nice atmosphere, kind and friendly staff and good food, of excellent quality and cooked really well and you can also find a good choice of wines which are recommended by the owner's son who I know has taken a sommelier course. I will happily return.

09/12/2024: Osteria located in the center of Frascati, has a very characteristic and welcoming environment. The staff is really kind and very knowledgeable. As for the food, the starters were good, although I didn't particularly like the porchetta and mozzarella, while the meatballs were really excellent. As for the first course, I chose a truffled carbonara, which was really good. Price a little above average, but still approved.

28/12/2024: Raro in Frascati is a fantastic spot with a stunning location, especially indoors, where the ambiance is warm and inviting. The food is outstanding, and the service is even better. Waiters are attentive, friendly, and funny. The only drawback is its distance from Rome, but it’s well worth the trip for the amazing atmosphere and incredible dining experience. Highly recommended!

03/11/2024: We walked by by chance and grabbed a free table. After a number of restaurants where they ignore you for half an hour, a very pleasant contrast. Service at a very high level, food also great and the atmosphere of a local business. I definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet and authentic place full of local people.

02/11/2024: Perfect service, delicious food. To start, we were served a glass of prosecco and bread My wife ate tortellini with mussels, I ordered risotto with shrimps. The dishes were prepared perfectly. At the end, we had a perfect espresso with almond cookies. It is worth adding that the restaurant is quiet. No loud music, which often distracts and interferes with conversation. When I'm in Frascati again, I will definitely come back here.

17/12/2024: Since it was the first Sunday of the month when many facilities in Rome are open free of charge, we visited Frascati, about 30 minutes by train, to escape the crowds. The restaurant was in a cave and had a great atmosphere. My husband, who usually does not take pictures, took several photos for our memory. Their specialty is porchetta, which can be ordered in small size. The white wine we ordered with it was very fresh and nice. The staff speak mainly Italian, but they are friendly and ordering went very smoothly. For non-italian speakers, preparing photos will make ordering easier.

09/12/2024: Ha ben poco delle tipiche fraschette dei castelli. È possibile ordinare solo taglieri di salumi (niente coppiette e niente salsicce) e formaggi. Nessun pasto caldo, nessun piatto di pasta. Prezzo nettamente eccessivo per aver mangiato solo salumi e formaggi. Location molto carina, unica nota positiva.

30/12/2024: we arrived close to midnight according to flight delay/ the room in the second floor was dirty cold with no option for heating/ no warm water in the bathroom the alevator was not in order and we need to take the bags via the stairs/ we paid in advance 150 ero per nught via booking.com in the early morning we understood that there is nobody to speake with and we advise theme that we living the hotel ans askes for money return for the rest 2 nights and they sent me to booking.com but the money allready transfer to the hotel and after few days the hotel still refused to return even part of the payment. we open a complain against the hotel and we put a big notice to turist s not to book a staying in this hotel

08/12/2024: I would be lying if I said I didn't know this place but ... the review is not biased, I came alone for dinner because in my opinion the dishes are balanced in quantity, fair (I don't eat much in the evening) and tasty. A cuisine with local products and masterfully prepared by the chef with many years of experience ... there is no shortage of photos and I am not an expert in photos. The room is very spacious and muffles the noise from the completely full tables well. The service has improved a lot, quick and precise, informed about the dishes that the owner knows how to describe carefully, I haven't been here for a while but they have increased the choice on the wine list. I read that someone commented on the cost, it is certainly proportionate to the effort in the kitchen and in sourcing the always excellent quality raw materials. A small weakness as it is almost central in Frascati or you are very lucky to immediately find a parking space under the place or you just have to walk a hundred meters. Three people in the dining room and three in the kitchen on a Friday evening ensure attention and speed. I've been going there for years and overall I've never changed my opinion. Recommended, still today.

13/12/2024: We came late one evening with a group of 9 after a late meeting. The lovely staff (of only 2 including the chef) accommodated us and made a fantastic meal! The food was amazing, the staff friendly, and the environment was perfect!
