We had a first course in foil with seafood but it was full of pepper and no salt, a mussel soup and fried calamari. For what we ate it was crazy. Terrible service, abandoned in the garden, and even worse the shrimp in the various dishes not cleaned, with intestines inside. Removed from the list of restaurants in Fiumicino.

21/05/2025: Solitamente non scrivo mai le recensioni negative, evito di andarci una seconda volta e la chiudo così... ma il fatto è stato così grave che purtroppo "merita" che il titolare controlli un pò in più l'elaborato dei dipendenti... Vado una prima volta (qualche mese fa) a fare aperitivo, 2 spritz e un tagliere x 2, mi accorgo immediatamente che sul tagliere tra pizzette e panini vari c'è un capello; smettiamo immediatamente di mangiare, finiamo i nostri spritz, paghiamo e andiamo via... Dato che errare è umano ci ritroviamo nuovamente a Fiumicino e torniamo in questo posto perché secondo me tutte le attività meritano una seconda occasione, per cui senza alcun pregiudizio entriamo, ci accomodiamo, questa volta c'era anche nostra figlia di 6 anni. Ordiniamo 2 spritz, tagliere x 2 e un succo. Arriva tutto, apparentemente tutto bene, mia figlia inizia a mangiare le patatine riposte in un contenitore di latta con carta per i fritti e dentro le patatine (cips). Mio marito fa "l'errore" (quando le patatine stavano finendo) di alzare la carta dal contenitore di latta e dentro c'erano delle cicche di sigarette... cioè dove stava mangiando le patatine mia figlia!!! Abbiamo avvisato la cameriera, le abbiamo fatto vedere la cosa e lei ha sbarrato gli occhi, giustificandosi che il giorno prima lei non era di turno. Davvero imbarazzante!!! Non oso immaginare come sia "pulita" la cucina... chiaramente, non ci sarà una terza visita... norme igienico-sanitarie assolutamente assenti!!! "Ovviamente" dal conto le patatine non sono state detratte!!!

17/05/2025: Nice place on the beach but shameful. A fried fish cone costs 15 euros with 6 frozen calamari inside and a ridiculous fried potato cone costs 10 euros. Everything is fine but this is a steal

11/06/2025: I often go for lunch with my husband, the staff is polite and attentive. Clean environment. I would do a few more first courses but I still highly recommend it. Ok quality price.

13/05/2025: I can't review the rooms because I only stopped for dinner. Clean and welcoming place as well as very kind staff. They made me sit with my dog ​​to whom they brought some water. Tagliolini grouper and lime with black pepper delicate and balanced and fresh fish. Good wine by the glass as well as panna cotta.

18/04/2025: It's not a bad hotel by any means. But it's not a great hotel either. I went as part of a school trip and the rooms were basically everything you needed. No more, no less. The playground was desolate and broken and the pool was being filled up. It's besidd the beach though, so that's a plus. The food wasn't the best. I think they just microwave what they have - not the best.

02/06/2025: Truly unpleasant adventure and I say this as a former customer. Today, June 2, my 4-legged friend, an 8 kg Jack Russell, is no longer welcome at the Riviera restaurant and I say, It is no longer because this winter and this spring when the summer season was not yet in bloom ... then both he and his humans were welcome who paid the bill (then I could feel used, where is the coherence) I therefore find myself changing my mind about what I wrote, perhaps the ownership of the structure has changed or in any case not set up to welcome those who have a dog. I strongly advise against it to all my contacts, Fregene offers much more and also at less heavy prices than the Riviera. Greetings and ... don't worry, not everyone has a heart for our furry friends :-)

25/05/2025: Pranzo infrasettimanale. Pochi tavoli occupati dagli avventori, formula ideale per un servizio veloce. Il pescato del giorno viene presentato al tavolo su un carrello, ma noi siamo andati alla carta. Antipasto di polpo e patate buono, ma senza particolari spunti. Insalata di mare molto buona, così come la frittura di calamari. Primo con cernia e bottarga buono. Ricca lista dei vini per ricchi (si parte quasi sempre dai 30 euro a bottiglia). Conto non esorbitante, ma abbastanza alto (€180 per due antipasti, due fritti, due primi, due porzioni di frutta e una bottiglia di vino nella fascia base). Suppongo che nel fine settimana l'esperienza peggiori e a quel punto per il costo non vale la pena.

02/06/2025: Breakfast on Sunday morning we ask among other things for a glass of cold sparkling water, they bring it to us still. We repeat it back and I specify cold sparkling water they answer me that it is from the fridge, instead it was at room temperature. They do not know how to give a glass of water.

08/06/2025: Fregene è il rifugio dei romani nella bella stagione. Ci sono tanti stabilimenti e ristoranti, frequento il Cigno da anni e per me è un posto più tranquillo e "a dimensione di uomo" rispetto ad altri stabilimenti più "fighettini". Il ristorante propone i piatti classici della cucina di pesce: questa volta abbiamo preso: - insalata di mare (seppie e gamberi con julienne di verdure), piatto semplice ma gustoso con pesce fresco e morbido - polpette di tonno su guacamole (sfiziose ma il tonno era quello sott'olio) - soutè di cozze, buono Abbiamo poi provato la grigliata mista (con spigola, 2 gamberoni ed 1 scampo) ed il pesce alla piastra con misticanza (trancio di ombrina). entrambi i piatti di pesce erano buoni, forse porzioni un pò esigue per rispettivamente 26 e 23 euro. Buone le verdure al forno (un pò unte). Gustola la cheesecake al lime Prezzi onesti (15 euro le polpette di tonno, 14 il soutè, 14 l'insalata di mare, 23 l'ombrina, 26 la grigliata). Il servizio ahimè, nelle giornate di pienone, è il tasto dolente: spesso si aspetta troppo. Tutto sommato è una giornata piacevole che ripeteremo come sempre.

01/06/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday at Il Cigno, and it was an unforgettable experience. I started with the tuna tartare with house mustard mayonnaise as an appetizer, and it was a true delight. The tuna was incredibly fresh and precisely sliced, and the mayonnaise added a creamy, slightly spicy touch that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. An elegant dish, beautifully presented, and with a perfect balance of flavors. After the main course, I enjoyed perfectly cooked shrimp fettuccine. I paired the meal with white wine and mineral water. To top it off, a chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream was the icing on the cake. All of this with a spectacular view of the sea. Highly recommended! I couldn't have chosen a better option for a delicious meal on my special day! 🔝👌🏼🍝🍤🍫🥂🤤!!!
