Located in the central and picturesque Piazza del Mercato, the staff are friendly and attentive. We had excellent pizza and delicious, particularly tasty appetizers. We highly recommend it, and we'll be back!

My friend Rino and I will go as soon as we can for a Geppetto pizza, absolutely unbeatable. It's sad to read such negative comments. Perhaps the spirit of the place should be understood; it's not suited to such refined gourmets. No one in Rome and the surrounding area knows how to make a Milanese cutlet. Just give up and respect the work of others.

We learned about this restaurant through a friend and it's become our regular stop... giant, easy-to-digest pizzas and equally large suppli. The staff is helpful and cheerful. Now it's our go-to.

The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly, but the food, aside from the pizzas, isn't up to par with Frascati's average. The meat, tagliata and oxtail stew, and tagliolini with artichokes could be improved.

La Vecchia Locanda

18/05/2025: Piacevole serata in compagnia di amici, locale curato con parcheggio e diverse sale tra cui una con area giochi per bambini. Diverse proposte di menù. Pizza leggera, saporita.
17/05/2025: Locale molto organizzato per i bambini con gonfiabili a vista della sala. Menù molto ampio con varie proposte.

15/03/2026: Very nice restaurant. We only had pasta. I had the tagliatelle with chinghiale and it was excellent. My cousin had the gnocchi with porcini that looked great and he said was very good. I will definitely return on my next visit to Rome.
06/03/2026: Great place! Enjoyed some excellent pizzas, but be careful when ordering the LARGE beer! You get what you ask for!
