Pinocchio In Fiumicino

My local friends describe this as the place for a slightly nicer pizza - when you want to have a beer with dinner but go for a couple of courses. it was a little disappointing this time - several things weren't available, the beer was expensive and boring, and the service very slow. Maybe it was just a bad day, and there's still a charm about the place, but I was whelmed.

Very good pizzas, of a considerable size.

I've been going to this restaurant for 7 years, but for health reasons I haven't been there for a while. My family has never been to another restaurant in Francati, because our point of reference was them. The older lady was very service oriented and always very kind, the children never left there without taking home a candy, it was a small gesture but it had a big impact. We recently went to the restaurant, the pizza was very good as always, but I was surprised: the service was just enough, few people and the service was very slow, some products not available, they changed the plate where the dumpling is served, I don't put the quality is questioned but the quantity is ridiculous, smiles, a greeting from those in charge? Inexistent! A real shame, I leave my review as a suggestion to the owner to improve the service.

In un sabato sera di inizio marzo sono finalmente venuto a mangiare in questo locale con la mia compagna, lei ci era già stata e me ne aveva parlato bene, e di lei so di potermi fidare... Il locale si affaccia sulla storica e caratteristica piazza del mercato della cittadina castellana, non è moderno né alla moda, ma è sicuramente caratteristico. I quadri e le decorazioni sono a tema pinocchio, così come lo sono i nomi delle pizze.🤥 Il locale, che serve i suoi avventori dal 1935 accoglie i clienti in modo schietto e sincero, senza rinunciare ad una sua particolare forma di eleganza. Buoni gli antipasti e il vinello frizzante in brocca, menzione speciale per le pizze,🍕 particolarmente sottili ma ricche di condimento e davvero grandi! E quando dico grandi intendo pizze di dimensioni doppie di quelle servite in alcuni locali.📐 Servizio preciso e cortese, costi nella media della zona, antipasto per due acqua, 1/2 vino due pizze e 2 caffè, 50€ 💰 Complimenti, avanti così in attesa del centenario, a cui mancano poco più di 10 anni! 💪🥳👏👏

On a Saturday evening at the beginning of March I finally came to eat at this place with my partner, she had already been there and had spoken well of it to me, and I know I can trust her... The restaurant overlooks the historic and characteristic market square of the castle town, it is not modern or fashionable, but it is certainly characteristic. The paintings and decorations are Pinocchio themed, as are the names of the pizzas.🤥 The restaurant, which has been serving its customers since 1935, welcomes customers in a frank and sincere way, without giving up its particular form of elegance. The appetizers and the sparkling wine in a jug were good, a special mention for the pizzas, particularly thin but rich in seasoning and really large! And when I say large I mean pizzas double the size of those served in some places.📐 Precise and courteous service, average costs for the area, appetizer for two, water, 1/2 wine, two pizzas and 2 coffees, €50 💰 Congratulations, let's keep going while waiting for the centenary, which is just over 10 years away! 💪🥳👏👏

My review only concerns the pizzeria and as far as I'm concerned, based on my taste and experience the pizza is fantastic! Thin, crunchy and well seasoned with quality products.

Accogliente, niente di straordinario

The hotel has very modest rooms in a classic style, warm in winter. The first courses at the restaurant are excellent and the pizza is like the classic Roman one, very thin and crunchy. I will return in particular for the kindness of Marco, the owner.

Cibo ottimo tanto da tornarci però il servizio lascia molto a desiderare.
