01/05/2026: There's much better, but the service could be improved. There was a long wait for the dishes, some people ate, some didn't. The selection was limited, the mussels were cold and tasteless, the rest was good. Fried food could be improved, the calamari was rubbery. Prices were a bit high for the quality offered.

03/04/2026: Roman friends (for life) took us to this restaurant. An elegant venue overlooking the canal where the fishing boats dock. The warm and friendly welcome makes guests feel instantly at ease. The dishes we chose were excellent, from the creamed cod to the "Zì Pina" risotto. The service staff was attentive and helpful. Special mention goes to the owner, who discreetly pampered us during some convivial moments. Thanks to... everyone.

23/10/2025: When six friends gather around a table, it's often said that company is important. In this case, not only was the company good, but so were the dishes offered by the host, who in this case was a hostess. While waiting for the latecomers, searching for the Aranova exit on the Aurelia, where the Caminetto is located, we began under a beautiful pergola with a cheese platter, accompanied by a glass of wine that kept the conversation flowing. Once the rest of the group arrived, the cheeses were joined by a platter of cured meats and various cold cuts, along with some very light fried vegetables and anchovies, which were quickly polished off. For the first course, gnocchi alla matriciana, asparagus and taleggio risotto, and truffled tagliolini with pistachios were the most delicious. For the second course, marinated pork, sea bream fillet, grilled and roast calamari, and a steak delighted everyone's palate. Baked potatoes were the side dish. Alcoholic sorbet, coffee, grappa, and a spare vodka for the return trip ended the evening with a bang. The price was reasonable, and the service was courteous and helpful. What can I say? Well done, we'll be back.

26/12/2025: As excellent as everything is, a platter of cured meats for two (normal quantity), two pucce, a bit of pizza for the platter, two glasses of wine, two glasses of amaro and free sweets... eighty euros for an aperitif, in short, doesn't seem like a great deal to me! We're exaggerating, it's a shame I would have gone back.

18/02/2026: Unfortunately the Google reviews got me to trust the restaurant.My experience was unpleasant due to 1) the extremely small portions of food and/or salads.2) items were missing from the salads (cheese, artichoke). 3) water from the tab was charged more than supreme bottled water. This is the worst price per portion restaurant I have been in.The quality of the food was 3/5 not terrible but also not excellent. The establishment was quite and relatively clean as the positive remarks I can make. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

13/04/2026: Good ..... I would recommend increasing the ventilation system, especially the hood. Coming home with clothes soaked in grilled meat is not the best thing for a nice place!!

What can I say... a truly thrilling experience, my palate can only thank me. High-quality food that expert hands transform into culinary art. 13/04/2026: One of those underrated historic places But when you enter, you're enveloped in a family atmosphere, from the warmth of the brazier lit by Lollo's smile and the mastery of Chef Ignazio. Dishes that have made history: BRUSCHETTA WITH PEELED COCKLAWS 😜😜, fresh squid stew, octopus with potatoes, Calamarata di Mastino 🥰, all shared with their smiles. 09/03/2026: A historic landmark in Fregene, it attracts high-class patrons—footballers and actors are regulars—and finding a table without a reservation is difficult, even on Saturdays. The service sometimes suffers, but the quality of the food is excellent! The bruschetta with clams and cockles is fantastic. The risotto is exquisite, along with the freshest oysters and octopus. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the fish.
