13/03/2026: Unexpected Sunday lunch. After a stroll along the coast, we wanted a seafood lunch, without too many expectations or pretensions. We noticed this place was very welcoming and without the overly ostentatious pomp (like you find everywhere these days). We entered and sat at the last remaining table: the atmosphere was small, but welcoming and familiar, with a steady stream of people coming and going, all eager to sample the typical seafood dishes we had. We began with a seafood appetizer: not the usual marinated salmon and scalded seafood salad, but a variety of appetizers, including octopus and peas, battered cod fillet, parmigiana, and many other delicious, fresh specialties. We then moved on to the main course, the one we came in for: risotto and gnocchi with scampi cream; delicious and perfectly portioned. A place we can't wait to return to, which has left us with truly pleasant memories, both qualitatively and without hesitation. The quality-price ratio is very fair. The small, cozy space makes it intimate and suitable for those who want peace and quiet without feeling crowded.

19/08/2025: A truly unpleasant experience at the resort's bar. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and disrespectful toward the customers. Despite having consumed something at the bar, we were kicked out without any justification. This unacceptable behavior made our stay extremely unpleasant.

25/09/2025: I had to wait 30 minutes to get a sandwich and a beer, even though it was off-peak time (12:50) and there was no one in line. But then again, it was the Rome derby, and it was more important to follow the match on my tablet. Furthermore, the burly guy at the kiosk is incredibly ignorant. He wanted me to eat standing up even though there were empty seats at the counter ("They're for people having coffee, otherwise how am I supposed to do it") and empty tables ("And what if someone makes a reservation?"). In the end, he took pity on me and let me eat my sandwich on a rusty iron table. Hygiene is also poor, as the place where they prepare the sandwiches is full of flies and midges, which isn't a good sign. If you value yourself and your self-esteem, avoid this place. When I write negative reviews, I do so for one sole purpose: if you're good and capable, you should thrive; if you're not, you should quit and change careers, given the overwhelming competition. Unfortunately, most people don't think like me. Update: I appreciate your polite response. I'll try again next year.

22/02/2026: Six of us came here on a Saturday night for a get-together with friends, and what can I say...everything was fantastic. We ordered four pizzas, one slice, and one sandwich, all delicious! Excellent service, friendly waiters, and the owner, Ernesto, was incredibly nice. We'll definitely be back!

22/03/2026: A modern and very nice bar inside, a wide selection of homemade pates and croissants, very good, lots of seating and a large room, a variety of products on offer, perhaps a little expensive for a bar, but still not above the standard prices, I didn't try the croissants, a lot of choice considering that I went in the afternoon, but the cooking was not uniform as far as I could see, internal parking

07/03/2026: Extremely rude on the part of the employee or owner, who, upon seeing us park two cars (in front of the fruit and vegetable shop, no less), waited for us with folded arms at the front door, starting with, "It always happens like this, this isn't a public parking lot, at least get a coffee!" Dear Madam, we used the parking for an appointment, that's true, but first, the cars were in front of the fruit and vegetable shop. Second, we would have gotten our coffee as soon as everyone else arrived. And third, there are ways of saying things and interacting with people, but you clearly prefer the path of arrogance and rudeness. The result? The loss of potential future customers. Best of luck with your business.

09/11/2025: Gelato shop with a good selection of Sicilian flavors and more. Small specialties like arancini in various versions. A pleasant outdoor area for drinks. Friendly owners. A special highlight is that they offer their products year-round, not just in the summer.

10/10/2025: If my uncle Gianni from Castelvetrano were still here, he would have made Gelateria Sicily a meeting place for the "Famigghia." We've been going there for a few years, and month after month, season after season, they never cease to amaze us with new additions, updates, and improvements. After gelato, granitas, and pastries, superbly prepared by Maestro/Chef Francesco, today we tried the latest addition, the Sicilian aperitivo, with a magnificent Spritz, prepared by Barwoman Alessia!!! Go for it, always on point.

09/11/2025: Entering this pastry shop and smelling its delicious aroma is like stepping back in time, into the delicious desserts of Sunday family lunches. I feel like a child again. I order both pastries and cakes for our family events, and the staff is always attentive, and if we miss a detail, they expertly resolve it spontaneously. The quality/price ratio is perfect.

23/08/2025: I walked in and said good morning, as I usually do, but the lady behind the counter didn't even respond. Then she asked me what I needed, still with a detached attitude and a gloomy expression. That said, I have to admit that even though the prices are a bit high (a tiramisu parfait for 8 people, made with Pavesini biscuits, cost me €25), the desserts are good. All they need is a more cheerful and polite person at the counter, that's all.

03/03/2026: Mediocre service: first courses, gricia and tonnarelli cacio e pepe, served at different times and poorly cooked. The wait between the first and second courses was over 50 minutes. We had to get up and not finish our meal, and we paid the full 67 euros. P

16/02/2026: Family-run restaurant. Excellent food, superb stuffed fried artichokes, and delicious homemade desserts. Also recommended for the excellent service. Mrs. Ersilia is unforgettable.
