25/08/2025: About the pizza... Go to Naples and learn your trade properly. Why can't you get a proper pizza marinara in this city?

23/08/2025: Good quality products, exceptional staff, you can eat everything from fish and meat, to Roman-style pasta, pizza, and they make an Oscar-winning tiramisu, all at reasonable prices. I recommend it to everyone. I returned after a long time and I can say they've improved a lot. I had the breathtaking seafood spaghetti served in a shell that took up half the table. I struggled to finish it all. 10/10.

13/10/2025: Along the lakeside all the restaurants were full, when we arrived in front of Corrado, we stopped there were three tables and the rest were all free, shortly after we understood why.... Poor quality food and badly cooked, meaning nothing tasted of fish, so much so that another table near us said and complained about the same thing, the first ones were practically sauce with second choice fish mixed in which given the prices at least the first choice, however terrible, if it was empty and the others full there was a reason and here is the mystery revealed

30/09/2025: We had to get up twice to look for someone because not a single waiter showed up the entire evening to ask if everything was okay? Do you need anything else?! Insane. Forgotten at a table all evening. The waitresses came to every table except ours. If I had to serve myself, I would have stayed home!!! Service zero. The food, in my opinion, was frozen, and the prices were high!! Never again. An experience to forget 👎

14/09/2025: How to ruin a successful restaurant. Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms requires two ingredients: pasta and porcini mushrooms. No pancetta, no other mushrooms, no truffle cream to muddy and vulgarize the flavors. The mixed fried fish, excellent to look at and perfectly cooked, had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste, I'm not sure whether from bad oil or sourdough. The initial wait was over half an hour, despite the restaurant being practically empty. I also asked, when ordering, for a takeout portion of pasta with mushrooms: once lunch was over, the package wasn't ready; we waited half an hour and then left, even though we had paid for it in the total bill. Below is the previous review: Excellent dinner for four people. We wanted to sit inside and they immediately turned on the air conditioning just for us; the tartare was delicious and fresh, the chicken cacciatore was exceptional, and the first course with ragù and vegetables was excellent. Fast and precise service, great availability and courtesy, and finally a very acceptable and fair bill. We will be back soon, highly recommended

04/09/2025: I'm not giving it 5 stars only because I thought everything was better. The tartare was very good, but the appetizer arrived after half an hour. The sliced ​​steak, rare, was overcooked, though good, but a bit miserable... basically, I had high expectations based on the photos and reviews. I'll definitely be back to see if they really deserve the 5-star rating.

07/09/2025: Nothing to say about the quality of the food, but there's a lot to say about the service and the table where they sat us after a long wait, even though we'd booked! Disorganized, almost completely disinterested in the customer, except for the very kind and helpful black man.

30/09/2025: Very homey place, all four forks were completely dirty with food. On the table was a bottle of WHITE "extra virgin olive oil"—uncapped, in fact. I think it was seed oil; judge for yourself by the video and photos. The appetizer was very good; the bread came in a paper bag and was a simple rosetta roll cut into slices—POOR! The trio of Roman first courses were excellent, except for the carbonara, which was made with terrible pancetta and something yellow—I think they thought it was egg, but it's indescribable. The cacio e pepe was excellent, as was the amatriciana. The sliced ​​meat served on the plate was thrown around, and the presentation of the dish was POOR. For payment, I received a receipt without a stamp, and a VAT number—nothing at all. The tablecloth on the table looked so dirty, I think it was used over and over again. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the woman serving it was very kind. PS: If it rains, please note that smoking is impossible because there isn't even a roof to shelter you.

12/09/2025: I paid for two pizzas that cost €14 with a €20 note, and they didn't have change for me, so I "gave away" the difference since I didn't have any paper. They didn't send me a receipt, but perhaps I had a voucher for a later date. One-star review.

09/09/2025: The absolute best pizza I've ever had, either for takeout or delivery. Reheated the next day, it tastes as good as freshly made. You guys are truly TOP!!! We've been customers for years, and I have to say that even the home delivery has always been on time and flawless. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: This is my second time here. The food is absolutely delicious, and the price is reasonable, considering you're just steps from Piazza del Popolo. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they're always prompt in recommending dishes, even to foreigners (they wanted the carbonara with ravioli!!!!). I'm taking one star off only because of the long wait (about half an hour), which could be improved.

03/10/2025: We arrived late into Rome and were looking for some feel good food after a long day of travel. We normally try to use Google and search for restaurants 4.5 and above so La Taverna Del Costa would not make the cut based on it’s present rating. However to pasta Vongole and Mushroom/Sausage Penne were outstanding. With a half carafe if house red we had a great meal. We were met by the staff with smiles and great service. It was a humble yet warm environment, that just served the best everyday food. It deserves a much higher rating and is Excellent value.

16/08/2025: We stopped, drawn by the smell of the mixed fried fish, and once we tasted it, it absolutely did not disappoint! Quite the opposite! Highly recommended! Truly delicious! The paccheri allo scoglio were delicious!!! They make the difference! Super kind and welcoming! The perfect ending after a day at the beach!! Oh, don't forget the dessert!! Outstanding!
