21/09/2025: We ate among rats and hornets; the rats, as big as cats, scurried between fences while the hornets flew overhead. The food was generally edible, except that the meat was sparse and fatty for the price. While the "snow white" pizza had very little toppings (two slices of ham and four slices of mozzarella scattered around), the waitress was kind and very helpful, but I highly recommend it due to the location and food.

23/11/2025: A restaurant with a breathtaking lake view. Service was inadequate. When we asked to turn on the heating, we received a firm NO without hesitation, eating in our jackets. The bathrooms were not clean.

23/11/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a cold Sunday. The atmosphere was freezing, the heating was on low, there was no heat at all, and the difference between the inside and outside temperatures was barely noticeable. The food was poor. We ordered two carbonaras, which had a bitter aftertaste, truly strange. The whole thing could use some modernization.

14/06/2025: The quality of the raw materials is in line with the prices, good. The service is absolutely insufficient. If there is a problem with a customer, you don't attack them verbally out loud but you try to mediate, because it can happen, as in this case, to have mistaken fireflies for lanterns. But the very serious thing is that you have to be serious and not make fun of the customer. When ordering the French fries, they were asked if they were frozen and the waitress not only replied "no, they are absolutely fresh" but added "they are our own production". So, since it is almost impossible to find them fresh, we ordered double the amount we needed but when it was time for service, the potatoes arrived that were clearly frozen, and also of low quality, without any explanation or apology from the waitress. Hygiene and respect for the customer are the basis on which to build a public structure and for this reason, even if it is certainly not important to you, this trick prevents you from seeing at least 15 people at your tables again, good luck.

The meticulous research and quality of the ingredients are evident, showcased in dishes that exude passion and expertise. Every little detail makes a difference and makes the experience truly special. If I had to describe "Le Chiacchiere Wine & Restaurant" in just a few words, I'd say: a restaurant that consistently strives for perfection. I can't wait to return, with immense pleasure!

10/12/2025: Let me start by saying that I've been going to this place since they opened, and even though I speak Roman, I'm not a foreigner... The menu is fair for the price, with generous and tasty dishes. Homemade first courses were good, but there were some things we didn't like. The grilled meat was all spicy, even the arrosticini. When I asked why they were spicy, the answer was: "Spicy goes on arrosticini...🤔". Now, with all due respect, I'm not a child to be mocked. The bill was supposed to be 148, but it was rounded up to 150, and without a receipt, I should have called the finance police. For those extra 2 euros and for the spicy meat thing, you deserve 2 stars. P.S. Spicy is usually used to mask something...

06/09/2025: Definitely one of the best bakeries in Ostia, but unfortunately the staff puts me off going there. A few days ago, I ordered a cake over the phone from a girl, including what to write on it. I went to pick it up a little while ago and the writing was wrong (specifically, some pieces I had specified when ordering were missing). I pointed this out and the same girl told me she would correct the mistake. I could see her visibly unsure of what to do, because I had realized myself that correcting the mistake wasn't easy; in fact, when she brought the cake back, it was a mess. I would have appreciated it more if she had told me it was no longer possible to correct the mistake; at least the cake wouldn't have been a complete disaster. The cakes are delicious, and that's certainly what matters, but if you offer the option of writing on the cake, it's essential that there are at least some smart staff taking orders. Instead, I found the girl incompetent and rude.

20/10/2025: This has become a regular stop when we're in Subiaco. Excellent food (yesterday, porcini ravioli with chopped pistachios), friendly service, and highly recommended. Reservations are essential!

30/08/2025: I spent a day at the beach with my girlfriend at this beach resort, and honestly, it wasn't a memorable one. On the plus side, there's a free shower and designated cabins for storing personal items. At the restaurant, we had two tasteless first courses, and among other things, the staff repeatedly asked us if we wanted to order anything else, making us feel rushed. This makes the customer feel rather "oppressed." People go to the beach to relax, not to rush things. Later, I go to the bar to order a ginseng and am asked if I want some water. When I say yes, something happens to me that's never happened to me before: they serve me water not in a glass, but in the same small saucepan where milk is sometimes served. I've never seen anything like it. Given the high expectations we had for this beach, I doubt we'll return, despite the staff's reasonable friendliness and the few positive aspects highlighted above. What a shame.

Their warmth and professionalism make the experience even more special. The entire staff is extremely kind and highly professional, providing impeccable service. The restaurant deserves a special mention: we enjoyed delicious, fresh dishes, with truly excellent value. The cuisine masterfully showcases local flavors.
