Clean and tidy, friendly staff but definitely not a 4 star due to outdated furnishings, microscopic lift, decidedly dated toilets

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I especially appreciated the very friendly and attentive service from all the staff. The location was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy, but a bit dated. Please note that access to the rooms involves a combination of elevators and stairs.

So stayed for 4 nights here and after reading reviews was a bit concerned about what it would be like. Location is great 20-25 walk to get you to most places you need to visit (you must walk to experience everything that is Rome). Check in was easy and staff very polite there is a tax to pay which was €60 for us but that is expected. Lift is tiny will only fit 2 people and suitcases but it is not a major issue as it is quite quaint. Room was basic and small (we had a standard room) but it just what you need at it is only somewhere to sleep at night. Bathroom was good with a very powerful shower and had shower gel and shampoo etc. TV on the wall , no English channels all Italian. Breakfast was more continental than anything with the usual meats and cheese bread rolls fruits and salad. Hot food was scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. A selection of fruits juices and tea and coffee. All good enough to set you up for the day. Also a nice bar and restaurant onsite. All in all it's not 4 start more 2-3 at most, needs a bit of modernization to bring it up to that 4 star level. I can't complain and thank you to all the friendly staff and guest we met on our trip.

Located a bit far from the city center if you're walking, but in return, in a very quiet residential area. Traveling alone, my single room was extremely small, but sufficient for showering and resting after long walks around the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they made an effort to speak to me in Spanish. Just one drawback...the toilet flush valve wasn't working. I would stay again, but I would choose a double room.

Excellent location with supermarkets right next to the hotel. You can walk to the center of Rome. The staff are very kind and polite.

Decent city hotel, quiet location but easy walks to attractions. Excellent staff both helpful and friendly. Good breakfast, nice bar, some outside seating. Being a city hotel of course its quite compact but has a charm.

Labyrinthine corridors, uncarpeted rooms, but a 4-star hotel? Don't expect a 4-star rating like in Turkey. It's clean.

I just arrived today for 3 nights. The service was good, the room was small but clean and adequate, and it's a 25-minute walk to the main points of interest. The walk there isn't too long, but the return trip is a bit steep. The neighborhood seems quiet. However, I found out yesterday that the air conditioning in the room wasn't working, so keep that in mind when the temperatures rise.
