24/08/2024: In vacanza a Trieste, alla scoperta dei luoghi, decidiamo di fare una sosta nell’ Osmiza Gabrovec Ivan. Esperienza bellissima: cibo ottimo, location accogliete e ben curata, servizio informale che ci fa sentire a casa. Buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Da provare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

22/08/2024: Atmosfera fantastica! Il luogo, con al centro il suo albero di noci, era davvero bellissimo, il servizio era super veloce e il cibo è delizioso, soprattutto i dolci!

01/09/2024: Very very nice place with outdoor tables and large green spaces. Delicious food, with typical alternatives of this type of place with some pluses, fast, kind and smiling service.

22/08/2024: We spent a wonderful evening in the Osmica. Very nice place, great Buschenschank with excellent local specialties. Very nice guests, great service. Since the place is slightly higher, the air on a summer evening is much more pleasant than directly by the sea.

30/08/2024: Super place, super vibe!!! Very tasty, very fast, professional staff. My Burbot family ate carpaccio, mussels, tuna and Neapolitan pizza. Everything is of excellent quality. Excellent wines. I apologize for not leaving a cash tip, we just arrived and didn’t have time to withdraw from the ATM. We'll definitely come back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow and fix it. Thank you for the delicious dinner and pleasant atmosphere. P.s. when you write negative comments, your claims are consistent with a Michelin star restaurant. Don’t forget that a glass of wonderful wine is served here for 5 euros, not 20 😉

13/11/2024: Mi dispiace molto lasciare questa recensione ma purtroppo da un locale bello e caratteristico come si presenta questo ci aspettavamo molto di più. Nulla da dire per il servizio, veloce e educato. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti,due secondi e un acqua. Antipasto caldo e freddo in piatto unico ma entrambi molto freddi..il secondo era la tagliata di ombrina (3 cubetti non chiamatela tagliata) con fregola e pasticcio di verdure(microscopiche e inesistenti le verdure) . Che dire delusione totale. Mio marito scandalizzato dal conto salato (90€) Ci è stato chiesto se era tutto ok, x educazione vista la poca clientela presente abbiamo pagato e siamo scappati via. Eravamo di passaggio, ma non ci torneremo sicuramente.

25/08/2024: It's get busy so you have to wait a bit for your food. We made a reservation over phone which worked good. Food was ok, the best was pizza.

16/08/2024: We arrived late, the restaurant was very full and the owner was very kind and found us a table. We ate spaghetti with clams wonderful Excellent quality, excellent price

25/11/2024: A bit silent but very efficient waitress, she manages the entire room alone. Informal atmosphere, very good food and wine. Absolutely honest price.

19/11/2024: given the difficulty of booking I was thinking of a much better experience already off to a bad start when we entered, when asked if we had booked and when I answered in the affirmative, the lady was annoyed by the fact that instead of mentioning my surname as per the reservation I said my name (days had passed and I didn't remember which reference I had given) apart from this, regarding the food: good homemade gnocchi but the roast sauce is decidedly too soupy, "Istrian" fuzi (specified in the menu) which look more like garganelli seasoned with the same sauce ljubyanska and fried chicken were good though Decent house wine negative service, no smile, zero empathy from the lady in the room bordering on embarrassing score due almost exclusively to the coldness of those who served us and the atmosphere in general There is definitely better in the area
