26/03/2024: Friends invited me to have a coffee at their house, I stopped here quickly to get some pastries to take back, because I found parking in front. No longer are the good times when you brought a sweet to someone else's house, without thinking about it... 10 pastries 18 euros, or 1.80 euros per pastry. I didn't know the place had all this fame that I read in other reviews, but for me the fame is not worth the 80 cents more per pastry compared to historic pastry shops in Pordenone, sorry. Good and fresh, anyway, congratulations.

28/12/2023: We went there one day after dinner and it was one of the few bars open, if not the only one. The place is located in the center. There is a wide choice of hot chocolates, hot teas and juices. We had a white chocolate and a pineapple and coconut tea. Both were served with a small biscuit, a very nice thought. The mugs were also very nice. The lady who served us was very friendly and smiling. The place has several seats, both outside and inside. Inside there is also a beautiful wall with several bottles and an old-time table. Nice evening!

24/07/2023: The news reaches me that tomorrow this place will be reopened by those who, in the past, have managed other clubs and hotels in addition to this one. Hotel that these gentlemen had to abandon after leaving debts everywhere! I am one of the many employees who have not received months of salaries! These gentlemen, instead of honoring their debts, continue to do damage thinking of enriching themselves in this way. Don't let them and go somewhere else for dinner.

01/01/2024: I haven't a word, I've been sitting for more than 10 minutes, the room is empty and no one comes to ask what we're having...in fact they pass by us as if we were transparent...send them home

11/01/2024: I'm giving one star because you can't do less. Always a terrible place and cradle of villagers interested in barmaids, alcohol and gambling. But if that wasn't enough, the sweet bartender evidently not the owner and resigned, otherwise I can't explain so much acidity, she didn't even listen to me and we even had to go back to explain the order to her again. Now, I understand the late time we arrived at (11.30pm) and the level of the bar I went to, the tiredness of the worker and all the accompanying, but if you don't want to do this activity or you aren't able to and you have to employ grumpy people please close. A smile and a kind response are not denied to anyone. I only stayed because it was the only place open and because my guests came from far away. Terrible terrible terrible but above all very acidic bartenders, if you want to be treated badly it's the perfect place to go!

20/08/2023: First night arriving in Maniago, Italy was late and tiring so I just wanted to get a meal at a local restaurant within walking distance to where I’m staying. This restaurant was just 3 blocks away and was still open, so dinner here was the plan. There was one other table seated, which turned out to be the owner and his girlfriend. The decor was typical of a rustic Italian restaurant, which was a nice welcome from long flight. Service was wonderful and attentive. We were greeted instantly and warmly welcomed like we weren’t tourist visiting. Unfortunately the first couple of items we ordered were unavailable. Since it was late and I was very tired, I didn’t remember to take any pictures of the menu, so I won’t have the correct menu names (in Italian) for the dishes we ordered. The grilled lamb skewers were delicious. The prawn scampi were really good as well. The stewed mussels were well flavored, but overcooked to the point that the mussels had shrunken. The seafood pasta was disappointing, which surprised me as I’ve not really ever had a disappointing pasta in Italy (only one other time). Since it was late, we skipped dessert but our server made sure we had a welcome shot of Limoncello! She was such a wonderful server and made the experience more memorable.
