26/06/2024: Dopo 2 giorni in Ravenna, con difficoltà a trovare ristoranti di qualità, arriviamo in questa Rosticceria a gestione pugliese... fantastica! Pioveva a dirotto e non abbiamo potuto stare fuori, ma il titolare ci ha subito trovato un tavolo all'interno, peraltro vicino ad una coppia molto simpatica. Abbiamo ordinato un a zuppetta di mare, spiedini misto e fritto dell'adriatico, più antipasto di mare: tutto molto buono e condito dalla simpatia del proprietario Consiglio vivamente, anche in auto, parcheggio davanti!

I'll first say a few words about the location, which immediately frames the nature of the place, decidedly aimed at tasting what comes from the sea, given the environments that recall the furnishings of a vessel. But let's get to the table. Here you don't stop at just eating; you embark on a full immersion adventure made up of aromas, sensations and flavors that enhance the dishes. A symphony masterfully composed by Nicola and his staff in the kitchens and proposed by Giovanni in the dining room with his collaborators. As a layman that I am, the experience was nothing short of fantastic, enrapturing. The judgment - positive and at its most harmonious - originates first from the composition of the dishes offered, accompanied by the meticulous description of the punctual, precise and generous Giovanni who is also entrusted with the task of the drinks and the wine list (Excellent!!!); while Nicola deserves praise for the tidy, clean and above all tasty preparation of the dishes, which turn into true works of art. All this then accompanied by a thoughtful and never suffocating conversation, always focused and aimed at maximum customer satisfaction and satisfaction. In addition to recommending it, it is my utmost aspiration to return for other tastings - certainly pleasant - that Nicola, Giovanni and all their staff will offer in the already generous menu. Congratulations again.

24/11/2024: Finally in Ravenna we found a restaurant with truly refined and very good dishes. The service is also excellent, Giovanni and Luca are very kind and never forget to describe each dish in detail. It's an experience, absolutely worth trying!

07/12/2024: Stumbled across this restaurant on our way back from the Boboli Gardens and what a treat. Possibly our favorite restaurant in Florence. Certainly is a hideaway but the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Well done Osteria Il Cantinone, well done.

18/11/2024: Alexander is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. For the food, the service, the environment. You shouldn't expect standard dishes or traditional proposals, but for this very reason in my opinion it should be considered and appreciated. Excellent service without being intrusive, which in these types of places can sometimes be a problem. Super positive quality/price ratio.

03/12/2024: Lunch out of town with my husband in this small restaurant near the center of Ravenna. Intimate venue and friendly service, truly delicious dishes. Specifically, we ordered prawns in kataifi pasta, creamed cod and as first courses passatelli with fish and spaghettoni with swordfish. In conclusion, very good desserts and particular coffee blends. The only flaw was that the service was a little slow, but with this atmosphere and the music in the background the wait was somewhat pleasant. Fresh raw materials and dishes rich in flavour. I would happily return to try the second courses!

30/11/2024: In Ravenna it is difficult to find anything better. You always eat at a good level without getting lost in endless menus, with interesting seasonal proposals. Great competence in advice also regarding wines and great kindness. A pleasure, the music played politely and the books, photos and books on display, always interesting, stimulating and non-trivial. The place is cozy and very welcoming, never noisy as larger rooms often are.

06/12/2024: Prezzi onesti, grande varietà e qualità del prodotto molto buona. Titolare disponibile e gentile con i clienti, nonostante sia un locale prevalentemente da asporto ci si sente serviti in maniera educata e corretta se paragonato ad altri. Consigliato!

05/12/2024: Ho preso una puccia ed era fantastica, pane croccante e impasto leggero, gli ingredienti freschissimi, sembravano appena raccolti dall’orto. Sono già diverse volte che ci vado e devo dire che è stata veramente una bella scoperta. Inoltre il personale è gentilissimo e super disponibile.

09/09/2024: Per me è una certezza da anni! Bell'ambiente, ragazzi simpatici e proposte di ottima qualità. Il menù riesce, a mio parere, a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta: tradizionale, carne, pesce, vegetariana. Se siete amanti della buona birra, qui trovate alcune ottime bottiglie che arrivano direttamente dalla Franconia. TOP!

We are Christian and Elisa and there is also little Joel and among the magical and ancient mosaics of Ravenna we stopped here to be pampered by Betty, then..... We ordered two great Italian classics or the always good tagliatelle with mushrooms and one of our highlights is the timeless carbonara, but I wanted to launch a challenge at home by ordering a nice Polish gulasz. The perfect creaming of the tagliatelle, the freshness of the mushrooms, the perfect cooking of the pasta with that beautiful yellow egg and the tasty browning of the bacon, the sauce that flavors that soft beef.... Here everything becomes a mosaic where everything fits together to perfection where two culinary arts can be close to each other, Betty is exactly like that!!! He welcomes you like an old friend and puts you at ease in his well-kept, clean place with beautiful, elegant and not deafening background music, dear friends, come to Ravenna, a UNESCO heritage site, but before leaving....
