16/05/2025: Restaurant with ample parking on the valley floor about halfway between Vignola and Sestola. Large and bright interior, attentive service. In summer you can also eat outside. Possibility to organize events. Traditional food, excellent flavor. Courteous and helpful service. Recommended.

20/04/2025: While passing through we stopped for lunch and tasted the pizza.... Very good. Fast and friendly service with great prices. I renew my review: we went for lunch today on Easter day with my family and we had a great time. Excellent starter, first courses, lasagna and tortelloni, second course, lamb and roast and to finish the desserts which confirmed the excellent lunch we had. Congratulations also to the fast, professional and kind staff. PS.... we had also taken a cake with us to celebrate my wife's birthday but given the abundance of the menu we had to leave the cake intact.

18/05/2025: Restaurant in the hills of the Modena Apennines, Montebonello area, an oasis of tranquility. Very kind and courteous staff. All the dishes are of high quality. Exceptional tortellini, both traditional, in broth or cream, and green with parmesan and black truffle. Excellent also the cappellacci and tortelloni. Crescentine (tigelle) really perfect, good fried gnocco, decent cold cuts, perhaps the ham a little salty. Very good ricotta with cream to use with black cherry jam. Desserts in line with the quality, zuppa inglese, mascarpone, crema catalana. Wide selection of wines. Honest prices and in line with the competition. For me it is a must try

27/04/2025: We book a table for two in this small tavern. When we enter we are amazed by the care of the dining room: a small piece of Puglia in Pavullo. We order the stewed octopus as an appetizer, truly excellent. First we order a calamarata and a spaghetti alla scoglio, all accompanied by a bottle of classic method Oltrepó Pavese. The spaghetti with seafood is not a banal seafood but has a seafood ragù that differentiates it from many others, the calamarata is also excellent. Appropriate bill for how much eaten. Nice discovery in our mountains. Highly recommended!

21/04/2025: Nice place to have a lunch or dinner. Everything was tasty and service is quite fast. However, it was quite noisy and no list of wines available. Anyway, we would like to dine there again.

05/05/2025: in Querciagrossa di Pavullo there is this place with very kind staff, My husband and I had bruschetta with tomato and mushrooms, au gratin tomatoes, tortelloni with ricotta and spinach, trifle, pistachio semifreddo, all excellent here you can eat various types of first courses, second courses and fried dumplings and tigelle. Being greedy, I bought the excellent brittle, I saw various products selling oil, lavender sweets, wines, other products and various cute ideas for Mother's Day. I recommend to everyone

04/05/2025: We had lunch here as a couple. Obviously to avoid not finding a place we booked. The environment is that of a typical trattoria. The appetizers of gnocchi and various cured meats (which I love) were excellent. First we had tagliatelle with meat sauce and tortelloni with mushrooms (note the condiments were very good, too bad the pasta was a little undercooked). 09/03/2025: Small pizzeria in Frignano, near the centre. Even though I don't live in Pavullo, I have been going frequently for 3 years and it has become a fixed point every time I go to Pavullo. Thin and crumbly pizza, light dough. Very good and friendly owners and diners, they make you feel at home, always a pleasure to see them again. Some desserts are homemade, like in this case the tiramisu, light and good.
