30/11/2025: A wonderful culinary experience! A touch of sophistication in a welcoming setting, in a great location (away from the city traffic). A 10 for the service, a pleasant surprise! 🎉

23/11/2025: Always a good choice... tonight, double-cooked octopus and tuna tataki, accompanied by a Franciacorta Saten. Highly recommended. Returned today, November 21, and some small flaws arose in the service (the Chateaubriand plate wasn't brought, the bottle of Ripasso wasn't opened to let it breathe, and the dessert knife and fork were requested twice). Tortellini weren't exceptional (a bit lacking in filling and overcooked by a minute). Desserts need revisiting. The rest was good, as usual.

20/02/2026: I stopped in with my son for a quick snack and found nothing but delicious things! The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and fun. It's always nice to find friendly people to chat with. 😊 I also thought about ordering a cake for my son's birthday, and what can I say... FABULOUS!! It was exactly what he wanted, the flavor was excellent, there was plenty of it, and the price was very fair! Everyone asked me where we had it made, we were really satisfied, thank you so much!!

13/03/2026: I returned to Baggiovara for work, and given my more than positive first experience, I returned to this restaurant for lunch. It was just as I remembered: delicious food and friendly staff. I spent €14.50 for two excellent fried gnocchi with Parma ham, a generous plate of gramigna sausage and peas, half a glass of water, and a coffee. The table setting was comfortable and the atmosphere pleasant. Highly recommended for a business lunch, but also for evenings with friends.

18/02/2026: We had a wonderful meal! Carefully prepared dishes, high-quality ingredients, and truly excellent flavors, at great prices. The service was simply perfect: attentive, friendly, and professional, always with a smile. A special thanks to the owner, a truly wonderful person who made us feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

17/01/2026: The children's area has a decidedly informal atmosphere, with outdoor plastic tables. We had their pizza with special dough and a tortellino with Parmesan cream. They served a gin and tonic that they made with the wrong tonic, along with beer and water. The little girl was offered ice cream (thank you!) The place is well-heated, and the service is "informal," but not very attentive. We paid €80.80. When we were leaving, we had to intercept a waiter because no one paid attention to us, even though they were there, and we were wearing jackets! I appreciated the QR code and Satispay payment, but I remember that you still need to get a receipt even if you pay with Satispay. We'll probably return, but I found the bill a bit expensive. The food was very good.

04/05/2025: Cosa dire,...non ci sono parole per esprimere la nostra gioia ed enorme soddisfazione ! ..prenotato da tempo per festeggiare il mio compleanno e quello di mia moglie che per motivi vari non abbiamo potuto festeggiare a tempo e debito; pomeriggio prima della cena tanto desiderata io non mi sento bene, ma per nessun motivo voglio rinunciare alla serata! E bene che ho fatto! Prima sorpresa: ristorante aperto solo per noi.. e questo la dice lunga sul senso dell'ospitalità; Seconda sorpesa: riferendo che non ero in grande forma e scusandomi quindi che non avrei potuto godere fino in fondo delle loro prelibatezze, si fanno in quattro a prepararmi a parte portate adatte alla mia situazione...terza sorpresa: si sono ricordati che al momento della prenotazione avevo parlato di compleanno e ci fanno trovare una torta (la loro inimitabile millefoglie) con una candelina per me e una per mia moglie! quarta sorpresa: hanno aperto una bottiglia di bollicine e hanno brindato con noi! Che dire, dopo una esperienza così in altri locali, per quanto eccellenti, non potrò provare le stesse emozioni, perchè atmosfera, disponibiltà, accoglienza a questi livelli sono un dono ed un'arte. Grazie!

27/09/2025: We came here for a drink. The staff is very fiendly! They spoke a little english, and tried their best to communicate with us. The pie and the other baked food is very good! The coffee is good! The cocktail was also delicious. I would definitely come back here!!

27/11/2025: Given the reviews, expectations were high, so we decided to give it a try. My subjective opinion is more positive than negative, but not entirely positive. Let me explain, starting with the service: the owner's raucous laughter is disturbing and bursts out suddenly in the middle of a conversation (though it's still appreciated that he frequently stops by the tables); the recommended wine, a Ripasso, isn't up to par, alcoholic and dull, although the wine list is extensive and well-stocked, even though the prices are quite expensive. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the shelf of quality spirits bodes well for the end of the meal. Let's move on to the menu: I chose tortellini in broth, which were truly delicious, though it's a shame the portion was so small (!). I then went on to a slice of supposed venison (I thought it was beef!!!), also a tiny portion. The dessert (pear with zabaglione) was excellent. For the other diners, risotto, dry passatelli, guinea fowl, and a selection of cheeses were all excellent. When it came to the bill, unfortunately, we weren't offered the hoped-for after-dinner drink, and this, in my opinion, is a flaw in such a renowned restaurant. November 27, addendum: seriously, you make me laugh, not even being able to express a technical reply using Italian, just smileys, like children 😂

19/11/2025: We went to Dondi's with our family: 5 adults and a 2-year-old. As soon as we arrived, we found a high chair at the table that looked filthy and obviously broken (with holes in the plastic and no straps). We asked if it could be cleaned, and they told us it wasn't actually dirty, just ruined because they keep it outside, exposed to the elements. Oh well. We then asked if there was a children's menu or if they could at least make a simple tomato pasta dish for the baby. Both requests were denied. Lunch continued with excellent appetizers and first courses that were certainly well-made but very salty. Furthermore, almost an hour passed between the appetizers and the first course. In short, our expectations were high and were largely disappointed.

26/02/2026: Hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness are just some of the virtues of "Le Zie"! The food is excellent and refined, both in quality and presentation. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive to every guest's need. Truly a remarkable place.

24/08/2025: Silvia did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought gluten-free products and baked a cake for us. She's an absolute gem of a hostess. + Spacious, clean room + Well-equipped kitchen + Good breakfast + Nice pool + Quiet location near Modena and Bologna. - The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi.

09/08/2025: A 19th-century place full of charm, simplicity, and excellent cuisine. The rooms are spacious with high wooden ceilings and wooden furnishings. The staff is kind and friendly. A small pool with a garden and loungers completes the welcome.

15/03/2026: A very classic, traditional restaurant. Spacious and suitable for large groups, the portions are generous and the quality is good. The dishes are classic, including tortelloni, tagliatelle, crescentine, etc. The borlenghi are particularly good, although the dough was a bit thick and the sauce was quite salty. If it were a little less salty, we would eat a few more. Prices are reasonable.

22/02/2026: Nothing to say, from the courtesy of the owners and reception staff (they have night service) to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, as well as a very convenient internal parking. Excellent continental breakfast consumed under the outdoor patio, deserves 5 stars.

10/02/2026: A very nice, rather modern hotel with comfortable beds and very pleasant rooms. A very quiet place and super friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent.
