28/07/2026: On Saturday, I went to the osteria for lunch with friends, and we were all truly delighted!
The place is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire service.
We ordered a bit of everything, from appetizers to first and second courses, and every dish was a hit. Some dishes are unique and sophisticated, but always well-balanced in flavor. And to top it off... the desserts! Truly exceptional: the mascarpone cream is truly spectacular!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to make a small point and apologize to the staff. At the end of the meal, we accidentally broke a beer glass, and, caught up in our conversation, we completely forgot to mention it to the waiters or when we were getting the bill. We sincerely apologize for the oversight!
What can I say, we absolutely recommend this place, and if we ever return to the area, it will definitely be a regular stop. Kudos to the entire staff, and keep up the good work!!

05/06/2026: Locanda Romana is a must-stop every time we pass through Fanano, and it's always a great choice! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is always top-quality, and the portions are generous! The fried mushrooms are a must, and the sautéed porcini mushrooms are heavenly!

11/08/2026: I'm from Fanano and I've eaten there many times because there isn't much choice in restaurants. The pizza is dry, awful, and tastes like nothing.
The first courses are plentiful, but the quality is poor.
The rude staff, on the other hand, is incapable of organizing their workspace.
My advice is to avoid it and go somewhere else, any other restaurant.
Responding to your question, I was waiting for a table on the 8th. In 20 minutes, no one asked me how many people were waiting, etc., as if I didn't exist. Then, after asking if I had to wait for a table, I was told, "Go somewhere else." The good thing is, I'm from Fanano. After August, the tourists will end, so we'll see if I go there again. "No."

19/07/2026: Pianino Montanaro is excellent for those who enjoy savory breakfasts. Good value, very helpful service. The waiter, Alberto, is particularly noteworthy for his friendliness. In conclusion, this is the best place for breakfast when you're in Fanano.

19/05/2025: Enchanting location for this farmhouse located in the heart of the Frignano Park, on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the Ospitale valley at an altitude of 1150 meters. Excellent traditional cuisine. Very friendly and helpful managers with a Tuscan accent. We will soon try the overnight stay.
Also suitable for groups who practice yoga given the tranquility of the place and the structure that allows it.
05/05/2025: I stayed at the Feliceto and discovered an enchanting, welcoming place with attention to the smallest furnishing details, which make it a truly welcoming place. Typical cuisine but with a touch of personality that distinguishes it.

08/01/2025: Dopo tanti anni sono tornata in questo ristorante storico di Fanano e devo dire che hanno mantenuto la qualità e la gentilezza di sempre. Crescente (non tigelle mi raccomando!) ottime con accompagnamento di salumi e formaggi super. Menzione speciale per il loro semifreddo con amaretti che non contiene lattosio così ho potuto gustarmelo anch'io...buonissimo! A presto!
04/01/2025: parto col dire che il personale è molto gentile, cordiale e colloquiale, le tigelle e le crescentine strepitose, il dolce veramente sublime e il prezzo veramente molto buono. (abbiamo pagato 45 euro in due, prendendo tigelle, crescentine, un quarto di vino e una bottiglia di acqua grande), grazie ancora e speriamo di tornare al più presto!
