08/03/2025: My partner and I were in Sestola for a weekend and we found ourselves in Fanano to visit the surrounding places a bit.
We decided to visit Fanano and come to Mirtillo Nero for lunch.
This restaurant was the best discovery we could have made, we were amazed by the execution of the dishes, ingredients paired together which led to a good outcome of the dishes.
I can say one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in.
I think it's family-run because we noticed a harmony as soon as we entered and the girl at the entrance was excellent in service, even the desserts were really delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant ☺️

09/03/2025: I had never been to the Romana inn in Trentino, but it was a great discovery. The place is pleasant and the food very good. Particular positive note on the tigelle. They have a scent and flavor from ancient times when they were made in the fireplace with chestnut leaves between the stones. Really good. We will definitely be back.
09/03/2025: I didn't stay but only had dinner, I must say that the reviews I read had me a little deluded.
I ate a very normal pizza and whoever was with me ate pasta with meat sauce (limited quantity).
I wouldn't advise against it but I wouldn't recommend it as a place where you eat very well either.

22/02/2025: Just before Fanano... an excellent bar for our breakfasts before trekking and on the way back to refresh ourselves with excellent crescentine and a nice cold beer! Mother and daughter at the counter were very nice and friendly!!!
08/01/2025: Very positive lunch break with mushroom tortelloni. Delicious filling and mushrooms also with porcini mushrooms, second course with scallops with lemon and very crunchy fried potatoes. We didn't take wine but the cellar as shown in the photo was definitely well stocked!!

04/03/2025: Small pizzeria by the slice. Very welcoming with excellent, very light and tasty pizza. Very low price compared to the other pizzerias I know. Cresentine lard and typical local parmesan. rosemary and garlic crush also stuffed on the spot. we also got it for my son's birthday and we made a great impression, the children love it

15/03/2025: Really nice and welcoming place. We waited a bit to have dinner but I must say that the quality is not in question. Really friendly waitresses and really excellent typical Emilian products! Really recommended for an excellent lunch or dinner.
09/03/2025: Practically everything is perfect, the only flaw is the billboard under the restaurant with an out-of-date price list. For the rest excellent pizzas. We tried Tropea and Canevare. Very good.

08/10/2024: Sorry to review a place without practically having used the service. We booked for 12.30pm at the end of August for 6 people. We arrived at 12.45pm, even though the restaurant was less than half full, we were given a table after 10 minutes. At 1.20pm no one had brought us bread, asked for a drink or even taken our order. We asked and were told that they could serve the 2 children with us first but the 4 adults would eat around 2pm. Reluctantly we left looking for another place to eat. Too bad, the place is nice and there are also some games for children…
17/09/2024: I'm sorry to give a negative review because the place deserves it and the staff is very kind. But we waited 40 minutes (even though we had also booked) and the place was almost empty.
The crostini as starters are not crostini but 2 ferrone of normal bagette
The meat arrived COLD, not seeing any bread, we asked for it and we discovered that they didn't have it but upon request and upon payment they give you 2 tigelle which also arrived at the end of the meal, however he tells us that he had said that the bread wasn't there, which is also not true because we would have asked for it straight away in this case and more seriously, this absence IS NOT WRITTEN on the menu... I wonder how they consider the bread for the crostini (it's only exclusively for crostini "not crostini")? Prices aren't even that low
Finding this method absurd, I hope it is taken as constructive criticism because as a place it would be worth returning

All'entrata su una lavagna c'è scritto "alla capanna entri cliente ed esci amico".
Verissimo.
Il pranzo buonissimo e con porzioni molto abbondanti.
1 tagliere x 1 enorme (che abbiamo diviso in 3), 2 primi, 1 polenta con funghi e stufato, 1 grigliata mista + acqua e vino: 90 euro.
Incredibile, applausi.
Da segnalare: crespelle di castagne ripiene di cavolo nero e ricotta, con fonduta di parmigiano e noci. Da brividi.
I ragazzi bravissimi, simpatici e alla mano.
Complimenti ragazzi!!!! Avanti così.
21/10/2024: Nei pressi di Fanano circondato dalla vegetazione in mezzo ai boschi, abbiamo scoperto questo rifugio, posto bellissimo e abbastanza isolato in alto ma dove si mangia benissimo e il cibo è abbondante. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo. Titolari gentili e cordiali. Dopo una bella mangiata ci siamo incamminati per i boschi. Non male per una domenica diversa dal solito e lontano dalla quotidianità cittadina. Ritorneremo presto a mangiare lì e passare una bella domenica!
