05/03/2025: Practically all the summer 2025 weddings that Babi srl had organized in Borgo dei Guidi were canceled (mine is among them). To date, the deposits have not been returned, in short, everything is very sad and not very correct. Place to avoid if you don't want inconveniences, given that they are now "playing" at passing the blame between Borgo dei Guidi and Babi Srl. It happened this year and nothing stops these people from ruining other marriages in the future. AVOID!

05/03/2025: Praticamente tutti i matrimoni estivi 2025 che la babi srl aveva preso presso borgo dei guidi sono stati annullati (il mio è tra questi). Le caparre ad oggi non vengono restituite, insomma tutto molto triste e poco corretto. Posto da evitare se non volete inconvenienti, visto che ora "giocano" a passarsi la colpa, tra borgo dei guidi e babi srl. E' successo quest'anno e nulla vieta a questa gente di far fallire altri matrimoni in futuro. EVITATE!

24/02/2025: We think we have seen some errors, due to inexperience. Let's give the benefit of the doubt because they are just getting started (February 1, 2025). We ate what we paid for. Without praise and without infamy. Just be in good company. However, when it came to the bill, Mrs. Orchidea managed to close with a smile. We are sure to return and see an improvement.

23/02/2025: Terrible service, passable food but nothing special. Anonymous environment.

18/06/2025: It is not to be classified as a "unique" experience but to be AVOIDED! A battilarda composed of slices of pizza and spianata raw and dry (probably from the night before), a few pieces of "sformato" which as main ingredient had potatoes, a bowl of ricotta and a small one of honey. a few pieces of cheese that seemed leftovers: the irregular cut, with disparate and curvilinear shapes, made one think. House wine as denatured alcohol! We stopped here and surprisingly (since there is no menu with prices) at the cost of 37 euros. All in a decidedly neglected and dirty environment. We definitely felt cheated!

09/06/2025: Per la signorina alla cassa...Essere figlia del titolare è naturale, ma comportarsi da "FIGLIA DEL PADRONE" è un atteggiamento dove Arroganza, Prepotenza e ed Autoritarismo vengono messi in atto per la scarsa Capacità di dialogo ed ascolto dei clienti..... Un plauso ai giovani camerieri c'è l'hanno messa tutta...

08/06/2025: Sono la prima a dire che i figli devono avere educazione in giro e giuro su Dio che io sono una di quelle che faccio il possibile affinché i miei figli si comportino bene! Siamo stati alla corte Scanarola e lo ripeto per essere sicura si capisca CORTE SCANAROLA! dopo un’ora buona ad aspettare due pizze per i piccoli (2 anni e mezzo e 4 e mezzo), ero in entrata con loro che facevano finta di giocare a fare da mangiare (visto le pentole esposte), la titolare si avvicina e mi dice “sì sposti dalle decorazioni!!!” E se ne va … ma in una maniera sgarbata!! Ma sgarbata!! Logicamente non sono stata zitta e ho chiesto cosa stavano facendo di così disastroso e lei mi risponde “io a casa sua non vengo a mettere le mani e impari ad educare i suoi figli e si faccia i cavoli (in maniera più scurrile) suoi!” Ah e tornati a casa mi hanno sono accorta che mi hanno messo in conto un’insalata mista mai mangiata Di sicuro non mi vedi mai più Ps i figli bisogna farli prima di dire certe cose

29/07/2025: And it's the second time I've been there and I can only say that among the self-service restaurants it's the worst. Poor menu on the first courses and almost always beef ragù. It always opens late and they are not prepared. Terrible experience.

25/05/2025: Our trusted pizzeria. Fantastic owner, very kind and always available and the guys who also deliver. Light and digestible pizza.

27/06/2025: Welcome, this unknown. Totally lazy, absent and unhelpful staff: we stood for ten minutes at the entrance without anyone saying a word to us (not even to ask if we had booked) or making us sit down, while the girls at the counter stood there twiddling their thumbs and watching the band playing, then we left... they made us feel embarrassed. A place for radical chic who have time to waste.

07/06/2025: asked for a Negroni without ice, served half a cocktail and instead of the Martini the guy decides to put the Punto e mes Carpano, but without saying it. I notice but he says that the Martini was finished. But it still costs 9 euros. The place is already so-so, then you think you can make fun of me. The prices are not like this (no price list present) especially if you don't know how to make a cocktail.

25/03/2025: Locale pressochè vuoto, un solo cameriere anche se professionale. Uno dei piatti suggeriti era terminato, abbiamo dovuto optare per un'alternativa. Il cibo è accettabile anche se a prezzi decisamente alti per la qualità, ma niente di più. L'attuale gestione, che non accetta nemmeno l'American Express, vive della passata gloria. Esperienza da non ripere se non in funzione della visita al locale.

24/03/2025: Piazza Roma Palazzo Ducale in the heart of the center of Modena. A place that has remained frozen in time, a nostalgic dive into a great, elegant and refined past. It has some incredible gems. This is why I love it. It's good to eat, a classic of the Modena tradition. Average prices in line with other places in the area All the celebrities of the past have passed through there. I'm nostalgic. He got into a negative media meat grinder because of a video of a probationary employee. I don't agree with some extremely negative reviews.

09/05/2025: Non ci ritornerò più !! Due primi , neanche un granché ,un contorno un po’ di vino ( alla spina) 50 €!!! Per non parlare dei tempi di attesa ed eravamo in tre in tutto il locale!!!

29/04/2025: Troppo caro. Due pizze normalissime (napoli e bianca e per giunta ad impasto poco lievitato in stile "mappazzone), 3 birre da 33 cl, 2 caffè deca: 42 euro. Locale datato, attesa lunga. 3 tavoli, 5 persone gestite da cuoco, pizzaiolo, cameriere, barista tuttofare. Probabilmente ha vissuto tempi migliori. Se proprio non si resiste alla fame improvvisa meglio tornare a casa e cuocersi due spaghetti aglio e olio...

22/03/2025: Disappointing experience at Sali e Tabacchi: a misplaced display of luxury My recent experience at Sali e Tabacchi on the occasion of a birthday party proved to be deeply unsatisfactory. The dinner, defined as such with indulgence, highlighted a culinary quality well below expectations, bordering on mediocrity. The organization of the spaces proved to be lacking, with the diners being arranged too close together, which compromised comfort and conviviality. The management of specific dietary needs, particularly regarding vegetarian options, was characterized by a clear lack of attention and sensitivity. The response given to my friend, who had communicated her preferences in advance, appeared negligent and superficial. The environment, which aspires to an image of elegance and refinement, comes up against a series of inconsistencies: the limited acceptance of payment circuits, the questionable reinterpretation of traditional dishes such as cappellacci carbonara, and the incorrect preparation of cocktails, such as my gin and tonic with gazzosa instead of tonic, are just some examples of incomplete and approximate management. In summary, Sali e Tabacchi presents itself as a poor imitation of a luxury experience, with a selection at the entrance that contrasts sharply with the internal disorganization, the mediocre quality of the food and the sloppy preparation of the drinks. I would strongly advise against it to anyone looking for a top-notch culinary and entertainment experience.

18/03/2025: Extremely unkind and rude bodyguards, we knocked at the entrance to ask for information and despite the kindness and the proclaimed education and the appropriate dress code they chased us away like dogs without any explanation, crazy stuff, never seen anything like this in such a renowned place in Reggio Emilia, not recommended

23/08/2025: THE BEST FRIED FOOD IN GABICCE MARE! The kitchen is a bit full, but the waitresses are lovely and kind. The restaurant has a sea view, delicious food, and friendly staff. The artisanal piadinas made by Adriana are delicious. I highly recommend: passatelli with clams, chickpeas, and cherry tomatoes; fried fish; spaghetti with fresh tuna; and coffee sorbet.

15/08/2025: If you want the best Piadina in Gabicce Mare (still handmade), this is the place to go. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, cleanliness, and availability 24/7! You can tell there's teamwork here, and the owner, wearing her tomato-covered lab coat, supervises everything. Well done.

17/03/2025: In 4, abbiamo ordinato due taglieri di formaggi e due di salumi. Due bottiglie di vino e due dolci e abbiamo speso 42€ a testa. Salumi, formaggi e vino mediocri per non dire pessimi. Abbiamo chiesto un bianco fermo profumato e ci ha portato un Marsala dolce. Io non ho parole se non quelle di sconsigliarvi questo posto.

28/04/2025: Giornata tra amiche, entriamo e chiediamo se possiamo sederci (domanda di cortesia visto che il bar era vuoto). Cameriera maleducata e incapace di fare il suo lavoro ci butta i listini sul tavolo e ci riferisce che gli ordini li prende al banco. Ora, premesso che Vignola è piena di bar, (fortunatamente) credo esistano modalità alternative nel dire che non si effettua servizio al tavolo.. perdi più a bar vuoto e senza nessun cartello che indichi ciò. Comunque nessun problema… siamo andate a consumare dove venivamo trattate con più rispetto. Al titolare raccomando una maggior attenzione nella selezione del personale

15/02/2025: Locale davvero tipico e curato nella sua semplicità. Cucina del posto eseguita con passione e molto appagante. Personale accogliente, la serata diventa davvero piacevole. CONSIGLIATISSIMO !!!’

10/02/2025: Locale tipico, a pochi km da Bologna: personale gentile e ambiente tranquillo. Ottime tagliatelle al ragù, antipasto per 3 abbondante con tigelle e crescentine. Il parcheggio è ampio, si può passare anche dal ponte di legno sul fiume se si vuole arrivare a piedi dalla statale. Hanno subito i recenti avvenimenti legati all’alluvione di fine 2024: andate a mangiare da loro anche per aiutarli! Consigliato.

19/07/2025: A gem in Modena. A wonderful, endless wine cellar, impeccable and welcoming service. You're always immersed in an almost magical atmosphere. Excellent options for nibbling while enjoying a few glasses of wine. The coffee is fantastic ❤️

08/07/2025: We went to this place on May 1st because we were passing through after having already had an experience a few months ago which was not very pleasant due to the behavior of the lady who owns the place. ''I'll start by saying that a bad day can happen and so we put our trust in it and came back because the place is nice.' The impact this time was even more drastic, I politely asked for a table for 2 specifying that 2 more people would be arriving shortly after, not even having time to finish the sentence and the lady's response was said in a high tone that THEY WOULD be too approximate, he wanted certainty about how many there were, I also underline that the place at the moment had at least half of the tables empty and therefore by law of trade if 2 customers come in you try to pamper them and not push them away with closing phrases and behaviour. My reaction was probably a little over the top given that I told them to go to hell and left without even sparing a glance. Moral and conclusion of the story I think I will not give another opportunity to return and I think that to do this job you need empathy before a nice place and good products, I recommend keeping the owners away from the public perhaps behind the cash register or in smart working it would benefit the place a lot.
