20/10/2025: Dinner for two, we ordered two appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts. All the dishes arrived staggered! A perfect alternating dinner. The second dessert never arrived, unless it was declared ready, after a 15-minute wait after the first. When I went to the cashier, I had to reiterate twice that we no longer wanted it, with the cashier/owner insisting I accept it. The prices of the bottles were exorbitantly inflated. The waiters were courteous, but "forgetful" when asked for condiments and bread. Great potential, totally unfulfilled.

01/08/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso, ed è stata una bellissima scoperta, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e le quantità erano più che generose, il cameriere molto gentile, si è preso cura di noi durante tutta la cena, ma anche la signora e lo chef che è venuto al tavolo a chiederci come fosse andata. Tutto buonissimo dall’antipasto al dolce, e ci è anche stato offerto il limoncino. Da ritornare quando saremo di passaggio.

07/07/2025: In addition to the wait (we had booked for 8:30 pm but they made us wait until 9 pm with the place practically empty inside...) the pizza is edible but we found the dough a bit hard and dry. Some pizzas were almost raw and one arrived literally with a hole in the middle because the dough was so thin. Ordering the pizzas was already a feat because they kept misunderstanding the order (they were very normal pizzas). After 15 minutes of repeating 6 pizzas, they still arrived with mistakes and missing ingredients. We won't be back..

19/09/2025: Friendliness, pampering and a top-notch venue

14/09/2025: Horrible place, absolutely not recommended. Dirty and frequented only by shady people. The breakfast was literally rancid, and the owner was not only rude but also demanded we pay for a measly glass of water we ordered after a coffee.

19/10/2025: Personally, it's a bit pricey for the food/service ratio. Desserts are recommended. The €3 cover charge for lunch was a bit of a shock.

27/09/2025: We went to the osteria on a Wednesday evening. The service was really slow and the portions were small. We waited an hour and a half for our main course. Despite this, the atmosphere was lovely, and the outdoor space, decorated with soft lighting, was pleasant in the summer.

28/07/2025: Location molto carina e particolare, personale professionale e simpatico. Pesce di prima qualità, consigliatissimi il fritto misto ( amaracmand no limone) e gli arrosticini di tonno. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità del cibo.

24/07/2025: Talvolta il compito secondario di un ristoratore è anche quello di far dimenticare all'avventore le cose che gli hanno rovinato la giornata. Ed in questo Alfeo c'è riuscito in maniera egregia. Al di là della qualità del cibo, presentato e cucinato in maniera stupenda, ci ha dimostrato cosa vuo dire essere un signor oste. Consigliato al 100%.

13/07/2025: After an hour of waiting, four out of five pizzas arrived. The fifth never arrived because we decided to get up and go pay. The pizzas were badly topped (even with the wrong ingredients) and undercooked. When it came time to get the bill, we pointed this out to the owner, who didn't even apologize; instead, he told us they'd had problems, and that can happen. Everyone in the dining room was complaining.

13/07/2025: I've always had a good experience at this place, but last night the experience was terrible... endless waiting time, lost and inexperienced waiters, no apologies for the poor service... well, a really bad experience.

31/10/2025: I often shop with a calculator in hand, and I can only confirm that prices are regularly rounded in their favor. The staff is also often rude and untrained. For example: once I was having trouble with my bills (precisely because of the rounding) and asked if I could remove some items, I was told no—which I can understand—but immediately afterward I was told that I could add something so I could use a coupon I had with me. So I take another item, go back to the checkout... and hear, from the same person who told me I could add something, that no, it's not possible 😐😐😐 Another incident: someone in the aisle drops a juice and spills it on the floor. Not wanting to leave the floor wet, with the risk of someone slipping and hurting themselves, I look for an employee to call. When I explain this to him, he looks at me annoyed and rudely responds, "What can I do?" I try to clarify that I just wanted to point out the risk, but he stares at me annoyed and walks away. These are just a few examples; it's not uncommon to find clerks who respond passive-aggressively, and that's fine with high prices (unfortunately, these depend on the neighborhood, etc.), and the filthiness is fine, but being looked down upon almost every time you ask for something is truly exasperating. I don't want to generalize; not everyone is like that, but I can't deny that incidents like this happen a bit too often.

30/10/2025: My experience was positive, but I definitely wouldn't go back to this firm after about 18 years. I have a lot of trust in Paolo and Sabrina; I've always known them, because I consider them to be serious people who have worked hard and deserve the best.

13/10/2025: I find the prices a bit too high for the location; they're already city center prices. They do offer regional products and quality, which is cool. We were offered a mixed plate, but we were charged for different plates, which I thought was a shame. What I found most disappointing, however, were the political statements that were clearly visible in the restaurant. Our neighbor's table left after one drink because of this. We thought it over. My recommendation: try to remain neutral as a restaurateur, because everyone should feel welcome in the restaurant industry. And ideally, people should become friends again over a glass of wine. The owner's reaction fits the aggressive overall impression, which is why I've adjusted my rating. I was rather neutral before with a medium rating, but now I would never want to come again; everyone has their own rightful path.

23/10/2025: The place is excellent, as is the food. The only flaw is that they are too fast and they ask several times if we had finished eating.

18/08/2025: The best Roman restaurant I've ever eaten at. EVERYTHING was delicious, from the appetizers to the mascarpone for dessert. The service was impeccable. As they say here, "if everything were ready, you'd be at a rotisserie," so enjoy the (short) wait, which only increases your desire for the AMAZING dishes they'll bring you. The prices are more than fair for the quality they bring to the table and the wonderful service, with a constant smile and a friendly attitude that make everything even more enjoyable. Thank you!!

22/10/2025: We celebrated our wedding lunch here. The view was breathtaking. The owners were extremely helpful and attentive to our requests.
