18/12/2025: In the heart of Cava de Tirreni, near the porticoes, lies this historic family-run restaurant, where culinary tradition blends with the quality of the ingredients and the professionalism of the entire staff. All the dishes offered spoke of traditions passed down from father to son, and the owner's kindness made us feel almost at home. The intimate, slightly retro atmosphere is truly welcoming. An evening of good food that I will want to repeat as soon as possible.

A rude person wearing a sweater that said "Don't stress me" was wandering around the place, clearly in a state of agitation, taking orders, bullying customers, and unable to provide any useful information. I assume she's infiltrated because, otherwise, the atmosphere was calm.

The menu offers both fish and meat dishes, as well as original gourmet sandwiches. I tried a pasta and potato dish with provola cheese and a Chianina IGP beef steak with a side of baked potatoes. For dessert, a millefeuille with black cherry cream. I was completely satisfied with everything!!! The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients. A place I'll definitely return to.

We came by chance and then recommended it by a shop assistant, only to find out later that she was the owner's sister-in-law... we ate very well, quality food cooked to perfection!! 15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner at Casa Rispoli. A very welcoming and charming restaurant in the center of Cava. We opted for the five-course seafood tasting menu for €75. The bruschetta with raw shrimp was very delicate on the palate, while the fried calamari was too oily, as was the seared tuna. The pasta was a very positive note: the tagliolini with shrimp tartare and lemon were truly excellent. Service was average.

The woman who looked after our table, Francesca, was very kind and professional, even in her recommendations and menu descriptions. My partner and I chose to start with two delicious appetizers: Montanarina alla Genovese and, for a change, Frittatina di pasta alla Genovese. Needless to say, both were delicious (I preferred the montanarina). The pizzas were superb, both the dough and the toppings. The more delicate of the two: the Scarpariello. Rating: 9/10 The most interesting: the Finocchiona. Rating: 8/10. The desserts were super unique, autumnal and homemade, delicious. In short, highly recommended!
