21/08/2024: Today I came to have dinner with my father-in-law and my pregnant wife and what can I say... it was a spectacular evening for both the eyes and the palate. Already from the welcome the staff of the Hotel Angiolieri, where the restaurant is located, made us feel truly pampered. The dinner was then a succession of visual and gustatory surprises thanks to the culinary intuitions of the "Signature" menu by chef De Simone who, through explanations of the various courses, guided us on his journey of memories linked to the Vicano territory, traveling between seas and mountains. The location is also fabulous with a terrace overlooking the sea from which it seems like you can touch Vico and Marina di Aequa. Personally, I didn't know that the restaurant was open to outsiders and it was a very pleasant surprise that I highly recommend to everyone. Absolutely worth repeating!

28/12/2024: Pizza flavor S. Ilario soggy and soaked in fior di latte water, the rest ok

15/12/2024: As for the pizzas, I tried the Neapolitan fried pizza and the ricciolina. In both cases the workmanship was good but I didn't fully appreciate the flavours. The Neapolitan frittata was too sweet, you couldn't hear pepper or squeaks and the ricotta was too refined, "creamy" and indeed sweet and predominant. On the contrary, I was expecting the savory ricciolina considering the presence of anchovies and olives but it was almost inedible. It would be enough to add a tasty but less salty olive and above all the tasteless cherry tomatoes which were shown on the menu but absent from the pizza. Great recovery with desserts. I will return to try other pizza flavors.

14/01/2025: Pizza is always a guarantee even after some time, but fried foods less so. Good quality/price ratio. Good products for food and a decent choice for drinks. Informal atmosphere, for families and friends, self service with purchase and payment at the counter with pizza picking up via sound device after a short time... all in an easy and organized manner. Easy to reach and very convenient with large parking... for a fee. The interior is on various levels but well organised. The toilets absolutely need to be redone.

13/11/2024: This is an unbelievably beautiful and special place. It is rustic in all the right ways and extremely welcoming. It is a little out of the way to get to, and you will want the smallest car possible!

01/11/2024: To summarize in a few words: it is a breathtaking location. For my photography studio it is always a pleasure to be able to carry out wedding services in Astapiana. The spaces are truly immense and vary from the grove with the lookout to the interiors of the farm. Without forgetting the rooms, cared for and left in a timeless period atmosphere. The staff, led by the maitre Domenico and the owner, Mrs. Giovanna, is very attentive and fast, organized in a Swiss way and this can only be a joy for a photographer. At the same time, all the dishes, from the aperitif buffet to the desserts, are mouth-watering. I always recommend trying the freshly made cured meats and mozzarella: they are a delight. The panoramic colonnade calls for spectacular photos and, in summer, the pergola is the dinner area. It will be a pleasure to return for future occasions with my staff.

23/10/2024: No hay opciones veganas en su menú, pero el camarero era extremadamente servicial arreglando con el chef para dos deliciosas comidas que podíamos comer. ¡Muy apreciado! ¡La mayoría de los camareros encontrados en nuestro viaje italiano de tres semanas parecían enojados y se enojaron por nuestra petición de no comer animales muertos y sus subproductos! El restaurante en sí se encuentra en un hermoso jardín y estaba ocupado con los lugareños. Muy recomendable.

27/12/2024: We went to this bar for a coffee and a sweet. Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed. We took a tasteless babá, drowned in a finger of syrup (on a damaged plate) and a lemon delight which was only very sweet and dry, without lemon. The coffee was average. The guys are young and kind and the place is normal. If you want to try real traditional desserts this is not the right place.

22/12/2024: Ritornati dopo un anno e mezzo avevamo aspettative buone: siamo rimasti delusi su tutto. Bicchiere sporco all'inizio, pizze e pane gommosi, pasta alle vongole (24 euro) semplicemente pasta con olio e vongole senza sapore, infine nessuna attenzione da parte del proprietario per la nostra insoddisfazione. Dolce buono.

25/12/2024: Here it feels like being at home. The fantastic welcome of the landlady, her colleagues who serve wonderfully well and always with a smile. You eat well and spend the right amount. A true farmhouse, it offers its own zero km products, quality meats and everything else with wisdom and skill. Booking is a must. It's always full.

26/12/2024: The Christmas lunch with a menu as per the Neapolitan tradition, nothing was missing, from the appetizer to the dessert Dishes made with excellent ingredients, discreet but highly professional staff, welcoming environment, it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the expert preparation of the Chef Guide, careful to take care of every detail, we also had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with him, during his brief presence in the room Thanks Peppe, we will certainly see each other again.
