10/07/2025: Went in to get gelato and server was upset with me over grabbing a napkin from the “wrong” spot. She started lecturing me as to which napkin I should use. There were no napkins on the table & I don’t live here lady, Staff is rude. There are plenty of better options in the area.

15/07/2025: After being in Sorrento for the last week I’ve tried several places and this one we passed by several times and decided to try it on our last night. Being let down on some of the highly rated places this was a very well welcomed surprised on the whole experience. You can taste the love and care in the food. We got the calamari, chef special of Seabass with vegetables, meat sauce with a home made paste, and the Diablo sauce pasta. All food was seasoned perfect and done perfectly. Do not pass on this hidden gem. My experience is 10 years in the Resturant industry in US and my wife’s experience is 25 years in high end Resturant’s around the world.

14/07/2025: Food was ok. Nothing exciting. Staff fall at your feet when you arrive but quickly their rudeness appears. Waiter treated a lovely gentle younger waiter like crap. Was so rude to him in front of the handful of customers. Safe to say we won't be going back. Endless array of gorgeous restaurants to eat in in sorrento that aren't just there to demand a tip at the end. Tried to sneak a tip to the lovely younger waiter but the rude guy was glaring at us from he sidelines throughout. Stunning building and has great potential, shame about the rudeness.

04/07/2025: visited here last May 2025 from Canada, we were on a tight schedule due to an excursion, but the food here was quick, prompt, and the taste is excellent too! highly recommended 🤤

17/06/2025: It's an excellent place. Laura was dedicated and attentive at all times. We dined in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the typical hustle and bustle of the tourist trail. The food came out perfectly and in record time. Laura's recommendations were key.

12/07/2025: Me encontré con el mismísimo Ciro sentado afuera de este pequeño y genial bar en las calles de Sorrento y tuve que entrar. Enormes bruschetta frescas, pizzas y cervezas heladas fueron el plato del día en dos visitas. Ciro es un auténtico personaje y, aunque no pudimos asistir, ¡al parecer la música en directo crea un auténtico ambiente de fiesta por la noche!

10/07/2025: El dueño es un tipo excelente (que vive su mejor vida) y el muchacho que cocina la comida es de primera. La comida estaba deliciosa. El dueño es muy divertido. No estamos ahí para estafarte. Te hace feliz solo estar allí Muy realista. Te cuida y la factura será exactamente la correcta. Albóndigas irreales. Acompañado de unas ricas patatas u otros acompañamientos.

12/05/2025: Yesterday afternoon I went to the Artis Domus Relais SPA with my boyfriend and it was a fantastic experience, the place is really beautiful, clean and well-kept. A special thanks to Arianna and Ilaria who welcomed us warmly, explaining what the route consisted of and always being ready to satisfy our needs in the best possible way, making our stay magnificent, I recommend it to everyone.

03/05/2025: Bad service and shower in our room was not working for two days. When we asked for a refund we didn’t get it and couldn’t stay elsewhere. We were offered to shower in a bnb 5 minutes away and we were offered to shower in the spa. The spa showers also didn’t work well and only the small shower head worked. Also the floor was flooded because the drain didn’t work well

02/07/2025: Currently undergoing renovations, the hotel offers old-world charm with modern comforts. However, the lack of an elevator and the cost of parking mean the service only has three stars, despite the professionalism of the reception and the excellent quality of the breakfast. And if the reception offers you a restaurant with a chauffeur, go for it! It's superb...

30/06/2025: We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Spicy! The room was a bit small, but well-designed, spotlessly clean, and refreshed with care every single day. It smelled great, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly generous and filling — the perfect way to start the day. The hotel offers lots of thoughtful options for travelers, including free shuttle rides to amazing local restaurants. Such a nice touch that made our stay even better! A huge thank you to Elisabeth, who literally saved one of our days at the very last minute — an angel along our journey. We were traveling with our two daughters, and we would go back without hesitation. Don’t let the negative reviews mislead you — some people want to pay for a 1-star hotel but expect 5-star service. Yes, the hotel is a bit outside the city and you’ll need a taxi to get around, but this is Italy, and Hotel Spicy truly makes the most of its location. Thank you to the whole team for your warm and thoughtful hospitality! 🇮🇹

09/04/2025: Y aller pour l’ambiance et la gentillesse des serveurs la nourriture est correcte sans plus je conseille les fleurs de courgettes et le tiramisu et déconseille la friture de crevettes et calamars la salade de thon l’escalope de veau sauce citron le poulet à la milanaise les légumes grillés attention les plats sont amenés avec une garniture qui est facturée en plus…on est à Sorrente

07/04/2025: Ho prenotato a pranzo di sabato e subito ci hanno fatto accomodare. La professionalità e la cortesia sono sempre al top. Piatti spesso abbondanti, con menù vario sia di mare sia di terra, non turistico e con materie prima di qualità. Accontentati anche su una variazione di formato di pasta per il primo piatto. Prezzi nella media per la location. CONSIGLIO SPASSIONATAMENTE A CHI SI TROVERÀ A SORRENTO

07/05/2025: Real, local spot for an espresso, an Italian breakfast, a small snack, or a drink. Service/Prices: Top! Totally recommended, especially since you can meet many local residents (young and old) there and really immerse yourself in Sorrentine life.

07/06/2025: Caution: Do not confuse this restaurant with the other Da Franco, Corso Italiano, which is very unpleasant... We just returned from Sorrento, where we cut our stay short due to the considerable deterioration in conditions: overcrowded tourists, incessant noise, and often appalling food. We had to flee to more peaceful areas so as not to spoil our vacation. The Da Franco restaurant will remain our only good memory: the quality of the welcome, the elegance of the service, and the excellence of the food served. All this at more than reasonable prices.

23/07/2025: Sorry to say- unfresh tasting seafood, sour cheese in ravioli, and pre-made pasta/pizza dough for sure. Save your money!

01/07/2025: AWESOME FOOD! I went to eat at the restaurant and it is SO GOOD! The schnitzel with french fries was so good, and i like how the food was so crunchy! Would reccomend to eat here on a road trip, bravo Hotel Diana!

24/06/2025: We asked if we could add tomatoes to the Margherita pizza but it seems that was too much of a request. Margherita was acceptable anyway. The hamburger sandwiches were good. Poor service: slow and rude waiters.

22/06/2025: The cheeseburger was perfect with an awesome bun and perfectly cooked French fries. We also ordered the salad with smoked salmon. Another excellent choice. Beware that the salmon is raw, which I didn't realize, but I love that, so it worked for me. My honey had beer and was happy they served it in a cold glass!! I had the house red wine for 6 euro it was great! Service was good, and our plates were cleared immediately after we were done.

13/07/2025: Visitamos este encantador lugar dos de cada cuatro noches. Muy a un precio razonable. Porciones enormes. El personal suele ser local y te atiende tan pronto como les das un vistazo. Las pizzas están ricas. Lasaña irreal. Pan de ajo delicioso. Lo visitaría nuevamente si regresara.

07/07/2025: Bastante promedio, para ser justos. La pizza no tiene nada de especial y las he probado mejores en casa, en el horno de pizza. El pez espada estaba congelado y, para ser justos, no lo anunciaban, por lo que comprarlo fue un gran error. Buena ubicación, precio razonable y personal aceptable, pero no esperes nada especial.

21/07/2025: This restaurant is a tourist trap. They had a DJ playing American music outside to lure you in. There was a long line of people waiting. When you are seated, everything is rushed. They didn’t have recommendations, or want to answer questions. They were just in a hurry to get you in and out. The bread was hard and not very good. The only gluten free options for my daughter were Risotto or steak / other meat. My husband ordered lasagna and said it was “ok”. My spaghetti with tomatoes was nothing special. We wouldn’t eat here again.

20/07/2025: Got off the ferry from Almafi & the lift to the city center was too long so we voyaged by foot. Upon reaching the top, this place caught our eye after only being able to walk a short distance more. Waiters were friendly & older one was most social. Our food was DELICIOUS! We both cleaned our plates dry. Gnnocchi was cooked on point & loved the sauce! I asked for Parmesan & the waiter agreed with me - life is cheese ❤️. Husband enjoyed his linguine with calamari & shrimp. Side of grilled veggies had good crunch and was a nice addition to the pastas. I’m no wine connoisseur so idk names to prices. I was a little bummed that a glass of Chianti was €16 but when in Sorrento right? We definitely did not have room for desert. Eating outside was a pleasant experience, noisy enough to feel like I’m eating dinner outside in Italy, but not loud enough to not hear our table conversation. The waiter did prompt that they did not charge a service fee- I knew what that meant & had already intended to tip anyway. Im not mad at yeh hustle. When tourists eat in Sorrento right?
