13/07/2025: During our week in Ischia, this was by far the most memorable and delicious dinner we experienced. Every dish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere added perfectly to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it.

26/05/2025: Stepping into the San Montano felt like finding a new home away from home. The staff was lovely; always attentive but not hovering. The views across the entire property were unbelievable - they are the only property on Ischia that has direct sunset and sunrise views daily. The included breakfast spread was delicious, as were all of the meals we ate on property. We were upgraded into a suite and it was huge with a beautiful sea view. Although not directly in town, it was an easy shuttle into Lacco Ameno and easy to get around the island on your own. Ischia truly felt like a dream for me and this hotel played a huge role in that.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

The hotel is magnificent: wherever you look, the view is splendid. The service is absolutely perfect, from breakfast to reception (special mention to the two lovely young men at the front desk), including the housekeeping staff.
Breakfast is delicious: you can find absolutely everything you could possibly want, both sweet and savory. We were lucky enough to be invited by the manager to dine in the hotel restaurant, and the food is just as excellent as the service.
I couldn't give it 5 stars solely because of the room, which I found out of step with the rest of the property. It's dated, poorly maintained, and the quality of the tissues/toilet paper is worthy of a budget hotel—which is incomprehensible given the overall standard.

03/08/2025: The fish is fresh and well-cooked, but the constant, excessive crowding makes the atmosphere overwhelming, forcing the very friendly staff to try to vacate tables early. The price is average.

17/07/2025: Always a guarantee, nothing to complain about... quality and courtesy are the foundation of everything.
22/06/2025: A terrace on the sea in Lacco Ameno where you can eat traditional fish-based cuisine prepared very well. The first course of the house was excellent, the fried fish was good but some things were a bit dry (tondino), the owner was polite..... the only flaw that doesn't depend on them is finding yourself surrounded by cigarette smoke from the tables around.

31/07/2025: We visited Ristorante O’ Pignattello for an aperitif last weekend.
The hospitality is sublime, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff, from the maître to the commis waiters, is attentive, professional, and kind, making sure you are well taken care of at all times.
The venue is meticulously curated down to the finest details. From handcrafted tables to unique ceramic centerpieces, it’s clear that the aim was to create a welcoming space rich in artisanal references to Ischia and the Campania region.
The food was the cherry on top. From the amuse-bouches prepared by the chef, to the bread basket and the final sweet pastries, every element was delightful.
A special mention goes to the rabbit braciola, a delicious recipe and a creative take on the traditional Ischian rabbit dish truly outstanding.
We absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Trattoria Casa Colonica al Negombo

27/07/2025: Mi aspettavo il menu solito (4 pagine) del ristorante nel quale c’ero stata già l’anno precedente, invece mi hanno presentato un menu di una pagina con pochissime alternative (10 piatti tra primi, secondi e antipasti). Il motivo era che in quell’occasione stavano svolgendo una serata nel parco termale del negombo ma nessuno era stato messo al corrente del fatto.
Anzi… quando ho chiesto spiegazioni, dopo aver già pagato, la proprietaria è stata MELEDUCATISSIMA nella risposta.
Inoltre, probabilmente per lo stesso motivo, ci sono venuti a chiedere con insistenza cosa volessimo ordinare dopo nemmeno 2 minuti dal nostro arrivo e ci toglievano i piatti dal tavolo senza che nemmeno avessimo finito di mangiare.
È stato un vero dispiacere dato che la location è molto bella e il cibo buono : specifico però che si trattava di cibo semplice proposto ad un prezzo medio di 25€ a piatto.

Grande Enzo responsabile di sala ha reso la nostra esperienza indimenticabile.

31/07/2025: A charming place, with incredibly fresh and well-prepared fish, and excellent first courses with just the right amount of seasoning that adds flavor to the dish, far removed from those oil-soaked first courses that rival only plain pasta. Compliments to the chef. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent value for money... what more can I say? Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.

I had the pleasure of dining at Il Delfino restaurant, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the first moment, you can feel the elegant and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a combination of quality, flavor, and hospitality.
The fish is absolutely fresh, expertly cooked, and impeccably presented. Each dish showcases Mediterranean tradition with a touch of creativity that surprises and captivates.
The staff is exceptionally kind, always attentive but never intrusive.
Truly exceptionally professional.
The owners, exquisite in their hospitality, make every guest feel at home, with that authentic warmth that only special places can offer. And Il Delfino proved to be a special place.
The cleanliness of the premises and professionalism are impeccable, as is the service: everything arrives at the right pace, allowing you to enjoy every course without waiting or rushing.
Excellent value for money. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ischia looking for a top-notch gastronomic experience.
It will be a must-visit for me every time I visit Ischia.

10/05/2025: Uno dei tanti locali “croupier” per turisti facoltosi, in particolare per gli americani che notoriamente sono di bocca buona.
Tanta fuffa, poca sostanza, cantina ridicola per il costo del menu, sinceramente esagerato.
Anche l’arredamento e il servizio sono rivedibili.
Rien ne va plus!
09/05/2025: Absolutamente deliciosa comida y excelente servicio. Tuvimos un tiempo muy agradable con deliciosos bocados y algunos de los mejores vinos que he tomado. El personal era muy amable y fue más allá para hacer nuestra noche especial, especialmente para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

20/07/2025: An experience to forget
Sirenella in Ischia is, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurants I've ever set foot in. I don't know where to start: the embarrassing service or the tasteless food?
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with the same kindness reserved for a tax bill. Distracted waiters, interminable waits, and management that seemed haphazard. The menu promised "local specialties," but what we received seemed like something out of a school cafeteria from the 1980s.
The pasta was overcooked, the fish—if it was indeed fish—was rubbery and flavorless. The house wine? It tasted corked and disappointing. And the final bill was the icing on an already indigestible cake: Michelin-starred prices for a meal that not even a desperate fast food joint would serve.
A word of advice: if you're in Ischia and pass by Sirenella... keep walking.
20/07/2025: I'm giving 1 star because 0 stars aren't allowed.
There were 6 of us. We ordered 2 clam sautés as appetizers, which were full of sand. After that, we ordered a first course of fusilli with pecorino cheese and mussels, which was left on the table because it was bland and the pasta was soft. Then we ordered 5 zingare, unaware that the bread wasn't "cafone" but a "saltimbocca" type, and it was RAW.
After that, we went to the cashier to ask for the bill and were served the most bitter dish of all: €206.50 divided by 6 for having eaten only what I listed. Never again will it be an experience to FORGET.

Camerieri professionisti ed educati, ottimo anche il servizio, prezzi giusti ed adeguati.
Ci siamo stati 2 volte, in una abbiamo mangiato pesce ... tutto ottimo soprattutto la frittura e ben presentato, nell altra una buona pizza.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
27/06/2025: Buona la posizione, servizio ottimo specialmente se serviti da un cameriere di origine albanese. Buono il cibo. Un punto a sfavore è riservato al musicista, poca l' offerta-troppo alto il volume

spaghetto allo scoglio con troppo sugo non si sentiva sapore di mare - coperto da troppo sugo.
abbiamo chiesto vino della casa dà 18 euro ed invece ci hanno servito e fatto pagare vino scelto da loro da 30 euro.

10/05/2025: Ottimo locale sia per il cibo, sia per l atmosfera. Si trova cortesia simpatia e professionalità da parte del direttore di sala Vittorio, perbene e gentili tutto il personale nello specifico abbiamo fatto conoscenza di Ettore. Nel locale si respira aria napoletana non è una semplice attività commerciale ma un'azienda familiare.
10/05/2025: Un voto da 1 a 10 senza dubbio 100 ristorante curato personale qualificato pietanze buonissime e il proprietario una persona solare e allegra sicuramente ritorneremo
