19/09/2025: NOT TO BE REPEAT Unfortunately, relying on other reviews, I chose this restaurant for a romantic dinner. The evening location doesn't match the beauty of the castle; the journey to get there was unnecessarily complicated, and it cost €5 per person to take a boat to avoid the walk. The fried cuoppo was tough, and there was only one bottle of white wine available, and the only more expensive one. The first courses were decent, and there was only one waiter who, poor thing, couldn't grasp the situation. I wouldn't recommend it.

08/09/2025: The service, food, and views at this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I don’t have enough words to express how kind Nello and Lamin were during our dining experiences. They made sure we understood the menu and took food allergies seriously. They also took the time to know us personally and teach us some Italian! The food itself was absolutely divine and tasted like it was picked just that morning! We had freshly caught sea bass that melted in your mouth and risotto that was absolutely delicious. The bread and bruschetta were also extremely fresh and had us wishing we left with some to bring on the plane! We would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone who asks and recommend ordering their catch of the day if available!

11/11/2025: We visited over the summer and ordered breakfast every day from Da Slama. They went above and beyond to ensure everything arrived warm, on time and as described. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Would highly recommend.

07/09/2025: Spectacular location overlooking the Aragonese Castle, beautiful sea. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff, from the waiter Mario to the lifeguard. Average prices and excellent quality. We'll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: We reserved a table for two on The Fork and it was definitely worth it. We got 20% off the bill. The owner was very friendly and he gave us little fried pizzas and fish appetisers while we waited for our food. The appetizer we actually ordered with the 5 types of fish was delicious. And the grilled swordfish fillet was the best I’ve ever had. The seafood pasta was also amazing. I would greatly recommend this place for the food, but the atmosphere was also very pleasant. My only criticism would be the coperto being €4.50, but I understand it’s a restaurant on the port of Ischia and that’s just how it is here. Overall great experience.

02/11/2025: Excellent service, fast, very polite (something strange on the island, it must be said that you are a positive rarity in this regard) but the food disappointed me as did another restaurant on the right bank (Emilio I think it's called, it's a pizzeria)... The mushrooms were fresh both in the risotto and in the tagliatelle and we ate, but too much too much oil (which in the risotto then you don't want... you need butter damn it!) so much oil and of the almost transparent kind, so I think it was pomace not pure olive oil... the meat appetizer then the cured meats were wafer-sized, the bread was stale and the fresh sauce for the child in my opinion was made with peeled tomatoes.

03/11/2025: I stayed near Ischia Porto in an Airbnb in October, and we didn't have breakfast. It was a pleasure to discover this place, especially since we don't like the traditional croissant and coffee breakfast. The options are excellent, including international options, including avocado toast, such as croque monsieur. The freshly squeezed juice is also excellent, perfect for starting the day or for brunch. I'd love to have something like this near my house. Cool place and great atmosphere.

10/09/2025: Very good drinks and cocktails. They give you three types of snacks and even a small wrap as you sip on drinks. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Would recommend. Prices were reasonable!

24/12/2025: The quality of the food is not that great considering that the prices are too high and are not clearly displayed anywhere (3 euros for a cappuccino, for example).

06/10/2025: Every year when we come to Ischia for spa treatments, this pastry shop is our go-to place for excellent coffee and, above all, pastries (sfogliatelle ricce e frolle, babà, pastiere, nubilette, and, in short, all of them) of excellent quality, made with first-class ingredients, combined with kindness and courtesy in a small but very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.
