17/03/2025: family-run restaurant, we had lunch with friends, helpful staff very kind and friendly despite the time we arrived (2.45pm) the place was very full and despite this they welcomed us with a smile on their faces, (ah! considering the age of their children) they seemed to be veterans with great experience. 20/10/2024: All good, especially the folklore entertainment group, the walk with aperitif and chestnut picking was splendid. I expected a little more from the menu considering the great wealth of raw materials in the area.

14/10/2024: A Sunday, without a reservation and with the place packed. We are greeted by a young waiter who, when we say "we haven't booked", asks us to wait and goes to call the owner. Giuseppe arrives and, after informing us that he doesn't even have a chair and when we say "we can also sit on the wall with the plates on our laps" he beckons us to wait. In no time at all he organizes a table for us consisting of the surface on which they knead the flour for the tagliatelle, placed on plastic boxes which they use at the end of the day to clear the tables. The bread, water, cutlery and two appetizers arrive immediately (the cured meats and cheeses are excellent) followed by a crock with polenta and caciocavallo and mushroom fondue and another with turnips and potatoes with croutons. VERY GOOD. After a while the gnocchi with chestnuts arrive, followed by tagliatelle with pumpkin which deserve the "slipper" with very fresh and tasty bread. The second is a slice of porchetta with salad and baked potatoes. Last but not least comes the dessert and the coffee. Therefore, everything we ate met our expectations but what struck us most was the availability and courtesy with which everyone asked us if we were comfortable, given the makeshift table which we however greatly appreciated and which brought us to the attention of the other guests with related exchanges of words. WELL GOOD EVERYONE. We will return for sure.

31/10/2024: At 1pm on a quiet and sunny day, after having been welcomed by the monks of the MonteVergine Abbey and having brightened my spirit, I enter a pleasant and familiar environment, with the welcome of the cordial and friendly Massimo, who accompanies me in choosing the menu, delighting my palate taste after taste.

20/10/2024: Endless lunch. Despite the competent and friendly waiter, lunch lasted 3 and a half hours. And it was December 27th. Good food, but nothing spectacular. The slowness of the kitchen (few seats, there were 15 of us in the whole room) also made us miss the funicular. This meant walking back to town and checking in after hours at the booked b&b.

15/02/2025: Excellent pizza, but the place wasn't heated, and not even a TV for entertainment, ok if the place is full it helps and doesn't help, but if like tonight there was almost no one there you feel embarrassed...

17/03/2025: All'eccellenza delle pizze si unisce la cortesia del personale di sala e l'abile maestria e competenza del proprietario (nonchè pizzaiolo). Una famiglia che gestisce con diligenza e professionalità un locale che specie d'estate (ma non solo), con la sua bella terrazza è un luogo ideale per tutta la famiglia.

16/03/2025: Pizza molto buona ma servizio pessimo.. Attesa 1 ora e 45 minuti.. Eravamo in 8, sono arrivate 6 pizze e dopo circa 15 minuti le altre.. Da evitare il sabato, non sono attrezzati x un servizio di qualità

15/03/2025: 10stelle oggi i nostri ragazzi accompagnati dalla professoressa e dalla sua famiglia sono stati accolti dal signor Nicola e il suo staff con molta dolcezza..si è mangiato benissimo e delle pizze dai vari gusti veramente buone ..il personale molto educato cordiale e disponibile il signor Nicola una persona eccezionale ci ritorneremo sicuramente GRAZIE
