08/03/2026: Ah, what a wonderful refuge of flavors I found on the shores of Lake Laceno! After days of walking through dense forests, streams whispering secrets, and rocks reeking of the wind, I stumbled upon this restaurant that seems to have emerged directly from the heart of the mountain. The air smells of burnt wood and freshly baked bread, and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I felt welcomed like an old friend returning from afar. The dishes tell stories of pastures and valleys: creamy cheeses, mushrooms picked at dawn, meats flavored with wild herbs. Every bite is a journey where nature speaks, and my explorer's spirit finds rest and celebration. Here, time stands still, and the mountain embraces you even in its flavor. I will return, guided only by the stars and the echoes of this wonder.
24/11/2025: Food prepared without love, just to fill your stomach. For example, in the pappardelle with mushrooms we found pieces of undissolved stock cube..... The mushrooms were full of water..... the waiters stand near the tables while you eat and listen to what you say while watching you eat, truly inconvenient.

10/11/2025: The atmosphere is absolutely welcoming, and the people are all incredibly kind. When you walk in, you'll want to buy everything. We even decided to have lunch there, and we were absolutely satisfied. Quality products and absolutely fair prices. Congratulations, you guys are a great place. Keep it up!
02/11/2025: Beware of the young saleswoman. She tried to overcharge us by pressing down on the scale to weigh sausages that were already priced! I took a pork sausage and a wild boar sausage and gave them to her. I saw her put them on the scale and casually rest her hand on them in the corner. At first, I thought, "She doesn't understand anything. She doesn't know how to do this." I could see that there was no fixed price she was getting, obviously, and then she came out with an astronomical price of €44 for the two sausages! I said, "Oh no, at that price, of course I'm not buying them!" We put them back in the basket. I grabbed two more from the side and realized that the prices were already fixed on each sausage, which had already been weighed! They were already €11 and €13, which is an astronomical price for the size of these sausages, which, to make matters worse, weren't even local! Too fatty, too salty, and not made in the valley!
So, a double rip-off.
In short, beware, it's a tourist trap!!! And the saleswoman clearly thinks you're an idiot... I don't recommend this place. You'll find better, cheaper, and more honest options elsewhere...

03/04/2026: Longtime customers, but since dear Titino passed away and management was passed down to his descendants, the quality and deliciousness of the products has been largely lost sight of.
The menu is listed verbally, and the prices have become sparse. The wait times are endless, especially during the holidays. The last time we went at Christmas, we sat down at 2:00 PM and at 5:45 PM we were still waiting for dessert, and there was a set menu.
I'm very sad because it was a guarantee when we came to Avellino.

I don't usually write reviews, but this time I'm doing it to warn you about this nightmare restaurant.
They could make a TV show like NIGHTMARE KITCHENS.
We went last Sunday with my family.
Disgusting dishes with combinations that only those who don't appreciate food would eat. We immediately reported it to the owner, and instead of accommodating us, she treated us even worse than the food.
I strongly advise against going to this terrible restaurant. We probably ate better in India with rats!!
TERRIFYING
20/10/2025: We booked a table for 10 people + 5 children. We were told there was only one set menu available for €22 per person. The appetizer was a slice of bread with caciocavallo cheese and honey. First course: fusilli with tomato sauce and ricotta shavings. Second course: pancetta with potatoes! Homemade dessert!
Well... I asked what was available for the children, and nothing! Other than fusilli! There's nothing! When we started ordering, two people specifically asked for "crostone without honey." Not only did they not fulfill the request, but once they pointed out the mistake, they brought two more without honey, charging us an extra €8! The fusilli, nothing special! Peeled pasta, even undercooked, with salted ricotta...! For the main courses! Anyone who didn't like pancetta asked for pork! Sooo dry! As a side dish, potatoes with the skin cut in half and sprinkled with a little salt! For dessert? A tart made of... only you know, hard as a rock! INEDIBLE! So much so that everyone at the table left it! And finally, a €330 bill that practically left us and the kids hungry! NEVER AGAIN.

02/03/2026: The service has improved significantly. Prices are decent compared to direct competitors. Pastries are also available. Snacks include sandwiches and other delicacies. Also great for a relaxing hot tea.
01/03/2026: Terrible experience. I went for breakfast at 10:00 on Sunday morning and the filled croissants were sold out. I politely asked if I could fill an empty one with Nutella, but the employee replied that it wasn't possible because it was sold out (behind him was the large jar of Nutella with a dispenser), so I asked if I could fill it with apricot jam, which also happened to be sold out. It's absurd that a "renowned" pastry shop, as they would have you believe, would make you settle for an empty croissant. Just appearances!

12/03/2026: We ordered a cake today and just ate it. When we ordered, we specified the cake flavor, but we weren't asked how we wanted the sponge cake to be soaked, which, due to our own forgetfulness, wasn't specified. The fact is, this evening, when we opened the cake, we realized that a liqueur had been used for the soaking, and as a result, the children who were at the birthday party couldn't eat it, causing me great embarrassment for their parents. Moreover, the liqueur used is still the same one used in the '80s. A terrible experience, never again.

19/01/2026: I called the facility to inquire about a weekend getaway. The gentleman on the phone, in a curt tone to say the least, said he couldn't accommodate us because there were already too many children in the facility, and therefore our kids would be too many. A terrible impression.
08/01/2026: Terrible reception. As soon as I called to make a reservation, a person with an elderly voice told me they didn't accept children.
This was after I told him I had a disabled child and wanted to know if the facility was suitable for one.
I don't recommend it, because children are treated the same as pets, even though in my opinion, they shouldn't be treated as such.
Perhaps the problem isn't the children, but the disabled people who are the problem with this facility.

28/12/2025: ABSOLUTELY AVOID! Inappropriate behavior and rude staff. Very negative experience.
22/09/2025: We were truly disappointed and offended by the owner's warning, which implied that we should never return to his establishment. The real culprit was the rudeness of a group of kids, who began occupying seats without consuming anything, throwing litter around, and even throwing it at our table, which was filled with about fifteen people. The kids were neither our friends nor relatives; however, there were some well-known influencers in our group, and in fact, the crowding was due to this. However, we are not responsible for their rudeness and impoliteness, which the kind owner implied.
I should add that the tables were dirty, sticky, and full of crumbs, while the bathroom lacked toilet paper and soap, and the toilet was stained with urine.
You won't see us again.
