24/06/2025: Usual appetizer of cold cuts and grilled vegetables, cheese that seemed old from the color. Only tasted the house wine, it was vinegar! We ordered four grills (my husband asked if we could use sausage instead of lamb). For me lamb, which arrived miserable and charred with inedible chips because they were full of salt! A pappardelle with porcini mushrooms that was floating in cream! To drink water and to finish a digestive. Now read everything again, or rather add five desserts because the previous time we had also taken those and paid much less and listen listen we paid this time a good €26 more than last time!!! I take the stairs and return to the cashier to get an explanation and the owner insists and says that the bill is correct, because the meat included in the grill, which my husband did not consume, was still added to the bill! Then I advise you not to continue doing this job and customers to go elsewhere! Not only did we eat disgustingly, pay more and not drink but they cashed in on us for the empty tables. Dishonest and crafty, change jobs!!!

17/06/2025: We were there last Sunday and we ate very well. We tried several first courses, and they were all well made. The starters were plentiful and the second courses also satisfied us a lot. Compliments, we will return

26/04/2025: The ice creams are delicious! Special mention to the Mediterraneo perfume 👌 Beautiful place with very nice modern furniture, beautiful terrace with a superb view. The cuisine is very good, good dishes and good snacks for lunch.

12/06/2025: I usually go to this place being from Mercato San Severino, in the morning it works well for breakfast because there are sweet and helpful ladies but in the evening, for a year now, I always have bad experiences and I try to avoid this place as much as possible since even if the room is empty they demand a minimum amount of drinks (eg for 10 people at least 8) forcing people to order something even if they don't want to and the prices are out of this world, waiters are also grumpy and absolutely unavailable, I give you some advice, pay them more so they will be happier to do this job and won't treat customers badly. Nice atmosphere but this way you lose all the work that goes into it. A person cannot be forced to consume if the room is empty, if the room is full and there are people waiting it's a separate issue but in any case if 5 or 6 people order and not 7 you still have an extra table, more money rather than having less

07/06/2025: This was so disappointing, the pizza was by far the worst I’ve had in 3 weeks of touring Italy and the Limoncello spritz was so bad and tasted so fake I had to leave it.

05/06/2025: The food was okay, but certainly no reason to come back. The service left a lot to be desired. We were mostly helped by a lady with long hair who is absolutely unsuitable for catering: unfriendly, disinterested and downright rude. No greeting, no question whether we had enjoyed it, no interest in whether we had finished eating - she simply took the plates from the table without saying anything. Fortunately, there were two other ladies in service who were okay, but they could not save the whole picture. A cold, customer-unfriendly experience that completely ruined the atmosphere.

03/06/2025: What a great restaurant. We came for the beautiful sunset because this is a suitable place for that. A table in the middle of the Oude Haven. The food was more than tasty. Fresh and exactly as it should be in Italian. The local wine that was recommended to us was a perfect match and had a unique taste. But what charmed us most was a lovely conversation with the owner and his son. Go eat here!

31/05/2025: Un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile! Questo ristorante affacciato sul mare offre una vista mozzafiato che da sola vale la visita, ma il vero incanto è nel piatto. Abbiamo gustato pesce freschissimo, preparato con semplicità e maestria, esaltando i sapori autentici del mare. Ogni portata è stata una scoperta: dagli antipasti delicati ai primi saporiti, fino al pescato del giorno che sembrava appena uscito dall’acqua. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino bianco consigliato dal personale, sempre attento, gentile e mai invadente. Cenare qui al tramonto, con i colori del cielo che si riflettono sull’acqua e il suono delle onde di sottofondo, è stato un vero regalo. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca buona cucina di pesce, atmosfera rilassata e una location che lascia senza parole. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

03/06/2025: We came here on a honeymoon, having never been at a Michelin restaurant, looking forward to the experience. We left quite disappointed. The restaurant is pretty, and views from the villa are spectacular, but once we entered we got ushered into the restaurant through a back alley so we didn't get to see the gardens. We didn't know what to expect, but the first impression was - air of pretentiousness. Most waiters were smug, but maybe it's what it's supposed to be. We ordered a 6-course meal for two persons and honestly, it was nothing special. Appetisers were bread sticks coated with "special" oil, bread, butter and a tiny dish I only remember as being ok. I've had much better in 10x cheaper restaurants. First meal, that we liked the most was amberjack, which was interesting and delicious, albeit tiny. It tasted like herring which I don't normally like, but it was coated in sweet sauce and melted in my mouth. Next we got "tender asparagus" flower, but it was very chewy, and tasted... like asparagus. The nice sauce it was coated in couldn't save the meal. Third meal was risotto. It was ok. The rice was too hard for my liking and oversalted. It wasn't even that interesting and I've had tastier risotto in supermarket restaurants. Fourth meal was seafood spaghettini, presented in a form of a ball. Interesting, and tasted good, even if too salty. On our trip we ate mostly in Italian food in local restaurants, and I've had seafood pasta 3 times. All of those times it was heavenly. This one was decent, but way worse than any of the ones I had. Next up was sea bass. The presentation wasn't that interesting, just a tiny piece of fish with some sweet sauce. It tasted good, though not mind blowing. Veal fillet was tasty but nothing special. It was presented in an interesting way, with greens stacked on top of the tiny bit of fillet. Last meal was a desert delivered in a half-spiral plate. It looked like a deconstruction of a lemon cake, with different ingredients stacked in different places you then combine in your mouth. Interesting. I've seen this idea before, and that one tasted much better. We had better-tasting deserts in cheaper restaurants. In total we paid just short of 700 euros. I expected to pay 500. It's extremely overpriced, in my opinion, considering the price-value ratio and the wait times between meals were around 20-40 minutes - very long. In the end, we even got charged for things we haven't ordered. For instance, we ordered 2 non-alcoholic cocktails for 14 euros each. After finishing them, the waiter asked if wanted a refill, which we DECLINED. The bill said 4 cocktails, so we got charged for them to ask us if we wanted a cocktail, not actually receiving one. As soon as we sat down at the table, the waiter brought a bottle of champaign to us, showed it and poured 1/3 of the glass each without asking or saying anything. We tasted it, and he asked if we'd like wine or cocktails, and we said we don't want alcoholic drinks. In the end, each of the 1/3 glasses cost 55 euros, or we inadvertently bought the whole bottle for 110 euros we didn't even want or drink for the most part. Maybe it's just my ignorance and I should've done something differently, but it felt borderline scammy. But what irked me the most was that the waiter asking if we wanted water, to which we replied yes. He went on a tangent of how pretentious their water was and we asked for a bottle. It cost 14 euros. For bottled water. That you can get in a supermarket. Why? They added no extra value... Did they pour it from some pretentious pitcher containing lemons or rosemary or any some nonsense? No. Just regular bottled water, poured in a regular glass. All in all, I do not recommend this experience. The meals overall taste fine, but much much worse than what you can get in ANY of the surrounding cheaper restaurants. Just choose one of those, save 600 euros, and have a nice evening with similar views, better-tasting meals and unpretentious service with honest pricing. Try Vittoria restaurant in Ravello, just 300 meters from the villa.

28/05/2025: We were really looking forward to a dinner experience at Il Flauto di Pan and I even reached out months before reservations were open. Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency the day prior and both of us were very ill, so we could not make it. We could not give more than 12 hour notice and were expecting to get hit with the hefty cancellation fees (100 euro per person), but both the man who answered the phone and Violetta were very understanding and, upon verifying the medical emergency, waived the fees and canceled our reservation. We unfortunately never recovered intime to attempt to attend on a different day, but we hope to have another opportunity in the future.

27/04/2025: Non mi è piaciuto il comportamento del cameriere che agevolava le richieste delle persone che conosceva mentre ai commensali occasionali e quindi non solo noi, non ci calcolava mai. Ho dovuto chiedere io un menù dopo che lui ci aveva detto 4 piatti in croce che avremmo dovuto prendere ma che non avendo voluto si è risentito..incommentabile. io non ho ordinato nulla mio marito e mia figlia hanno mangiato bene..non ci torniamo a meno che il cameriere impara a fare il suo mestiere.

27/04/2025: Lo consiglio!ci sono stato per la seconda volta,ho mangiato bene cibo di qualità e ben proposto oltre che cucinato (ovviamente),personale al top!... E che dire lo consiglio vivamente!.....
