09/09/2025: The pasta vongole was excellent, the calamari was fine, but we missed a sauce. The ravioli was tasty but not a very large portion. The server was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. All in all, a delicious and pleasant dining experience.

19/08/2025: The restaurant takes the legacy of the old Marenostrum and reimagines it with more contemporary touches, both in the food plating and the table setting. The food is very good, the prices are a bit above average due to the attention to detail and the particularly romantic location, but the portions are significantly smaller than its predecessor. But everything remains very good. The service is certainly medium-high. Parking is available.

19/08/2025: But how is it possible to pay €6 for 6 mini cannoli.... without weighing them by the kilo, but that's all right!!! A REAL SCAM.... NO COMMENT!!! Too bad I can't attach the receipt here.... Never again!!!!!! Bar Galardi is much better, too bad they ran out of cannoli!!!!!

10/10/2025: It is what it is. Obviously this is not a hot tourist spot . It has its own charm if a bit neglected . Locals dominate .

23/09/2025: I'm giving this place a bad review because I booked a table outside on Saturday evening for 9:00 PM. I arrived at 9:00 PM and the table was gone. I waited until 9:20 PM, when I saw other people arriving. Another waiter started making this list, but there was no sign of us. We didn't understand anything after talking to him because the disorganization was so severe. At this point, I decided to leave. If you're not capable of taking reservations, don't do it. I love that kind of pizza, but I won't be returning.

11/10/2025: A sweet discovery, we went to eat a pizza and I must say it was really excellent with quality products, the service was excellent and attentive to detail, the place was very nice

22/05/2025: Il locale è molto bello ed accogliente. Il personale è stato gentile, ma a tratti un po’ insistente, come se dovessimo per forza spendere per qualcosa in più. Inoltre, a tratti ci siamo sentiti presi in giro. Per dirne una, abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di formaggi che, da menù, doveva comprendere 4 tipi di formaggio, con confetture e mostarde. E invece abbiamo pagato il prezzo da menù nonostante comprendesse 3 tipi di formaggio e fosse privo di confetture. Quando abbiamo sollecitato il personale ci è stato detto “abbiamo dimenticato di dirvi che il quarto formaggio e le confetture sono finite”. Per riparare il danno, ci hanno proposto di attendere che lo chef facesse una confettura a momento, ma dopo più di 15 minuti non è arrivato nulla e siamo andati via. Complessivamente, la qualità dei prodotti è indiscutibile e si è mangiato bene, ma i prezzi sono decisamente troppo alti in rapporto alla scarnità dei piatti: dopo un conto di 70€ in due sono andata via affamata 😅

You can have the best product in the world, but if you're unfit for sale and the public, you can't—in fact, you don't deserve to be the cover of one of Naples' pastry shops. The ignorance, arrogance, rudeness, conceit, and poor work ethic found in the waiter behind the window, at the service, make it clear that, in the age of communication and formality, it's still impossible to find people so unsuited and uneducated. Zero rating!

12/10/2025: The tiramisu is amazing! The service is fast and very attentive. The decor is… so Italian, but it's worth stopping in for a cappuccino and something sweet. I recommend it!

22/02/2025: Una bella location , ho mangiato un ottimo panino con hamburger e tartufo, un piatto di bruschette ed una bibita, ho speso 20 €, da ritornare per provare le bistecche. Personale qualificato.

19/08/2025: The staff were helpful and friendly, but the wait was very long. I ordered margherita pizza, which arrived lightly topped, and the dough seemed stringy and dry. The panuozzo, on the other hand, was filled with porchetta, provola, and French fries: the whole thing had a very light, almost bland flavor. The porchetta was flavorless, and the provola was equally so.

09/06/2025: Ci sono stato a fine maggio bel locale molto accogliente e grande disponibilità da parte del personale cibo di buona qualità peccato per il poco spazio per parcheggiare le auto e giardino molto ridotto.ma ripeto come qualità del cibo e la disponibilità del personale consiglio vivamente 2 adulti con 1 bambina abbiamo preso 2 menù fissi ed una Pennetta per la piccola 70€

14/10/2025: Fontelina was once a must-visit, but the experience has declined significantly - especially for non-Italian visitors. Service is minimal at best; you’ll find yourself chasing staff for basic requests, only to be asked for a tip afterward. With so many better beach clubs on Capri now, this one no longer earns a spot in the top 3.

11/10/2025: If you enjoy being overcharged for mediocre food and ignored by staff, this is your spot. Otherwise, save your money and your day — go literally anywhere else on Capri. La Fontelina is exactly as others have said: beautiful setting, terrible everything else. The service is practically nonexistent unless you chase someone down, and even then, it’s indifferent at best. From the moment I arrived, I wanted to leave — but I was already nearly €100 in for various cover charges and “fees.” Despite having a reservation for the “beach club,” they make you eat lunch at the restaurant, where they tack on another €6 “cover” per person on top of the €50 for general access — for what, exactly, is unclear. The food was disappointing: overcooked shrimp, bland ravioli I could make better myself, and overpriced drinks. Then come the endless extras — you pay separately for the chair, the towel, the mat, even the boat shuttle. Would not recommend.
