12/10/2025: The pizza is delicious, the staff is friendly and fast, the place is brand new but very noisy. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Really disappointing. I had a great time in the past, but not so much now. The pizzas arrived after a half an hour, and the place wasn't even full. Not to mention the owner was very rude. Really disappointing. I'll never go back.

08/09/2025: The beach is average. The food at the restaurant was good, although, as is often the case these days, the prices are exorbitant and the quality is mediocre to acceptable. There's little to see outside, other than the sea.

26/10/2025: A welcoming restaurant with very friendly staff. We were two of us on a Saturday for a seafood dinner. For starters, I had tuna tartare, followed by cod with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, and finished with tiramisu. All the dishes were excellent, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the tiramisu was delicious. Recommended!

23/10/2025: It's a shame you can only give it 5 stars, a very nice place with attention to the smallest details. I went there with my wife and children, very nice, clean and with very high quality dishes. Everything I ate was an explosion of unique flavors for the palate, abundant dishes and kind, polite and quick staff in service. What can I say? I was enthusiastic, I will definitely return, compliments for everything to the chef!!!!!

22/09/2025: A true pearl of Ischia! At Trattoria da Peppina di Renato we finally felt we had found the real Italy. The atmosphere was a feast for the senses: authentic, steeped in history and tradition, with every detail in the décor arranged with taste and passion. Francesco, with his stories, guided us not only through the dishes but also through the soul of the island: its soil, its wines, and the deep roots of its cuisine. It felt as though we had been welcomed into the living memory of a family. The grandmother’s meatballs with pine nuts, in their rich tomato sauce, captured me from the very first bite. I truly felt as if they had been prepared by a nonna herself, with that love and patience only a grandmother can give. I can say, without exaggeration, that I had never tasted anything so delicious, so tender, so perfectly balanced. Then came the pasta with rabbit sauce and herbs. Wonderful! Followed by the traditional Ischian rabbit dish, which I had longed to try since arriving on the island. It was intensely aromatic, served with real, rustic fried potatoes. And yes, we followed Francesco’s advice: we even did "la scarpetta"!!! Dipping bread into the rabbit sauce was a revelation. We paired the meal with a local Biancolella, produced just a few houses up the hill: fresh, crisp, and mineral, with that volcanic rock note that gives Ischia its name as the "green island". The evening ended with two special digestifs. One was made of arugula, unique and vibrant, and the other was Piperna, a true spirit of the island. A must try! This was not just dinner, but a journey into tradition, authenticity, and warmth. Thank you from the heart for an unforgettable evening. We will carry this inspiration back to our own little Italian restaurant in Germany, and we hope to return soon, at least once more, to relive this magic.

12/09/2025: Wonderful evening. Professional and very helpful staff. Excellent food quality and absolutely reasonable prices. What more can I say... the tradition and history of Ischian cuisine with expertly combined reinterpretations. The place is beautiful and exudes joy with a hint of nostalgia... all accompanied by the greatest voice and guitar on the island of Ischia. Well done guys (did you give your lighter back?)

27/09/2025: We discovered this gem by pure chance, returning from a hike on Mount Taburno. Every dish fully met our expectations: authentic, quality ingredients, generous portions, and a fair price/quality ratio. I highly recommend trying their Aglianico, produced on site; the aroma of red fruits will linger! Even the meats are locally sourced, and it shows: tender, flavorful, and not fatty. The staff was incredibly friendly, thanks to Mariangela, who served us with thoughtful touches that are absolutely not a given in a restaurant! We'll definitely be back!

03/08/2025: Pescato del giorno al centro di piatti innovativi ma comunque fortemente legati alla tradizione. Bellissime presentazioni e carta dei vini più che completa. Locale elegante ed accoglienza super da parte dei fratelli e proprietari Rico e Dina! Ampio parcheggio. Il tutto a due passi dal mare di Paestum... Tappa fissa da provare e riprovare!

25/05/2025: Attratti dalle positive recensioni, ci siamo recati in questo ristorante per un pranzo domenicale. Location ben arredata e curata, molto spaziosa. Nonostante l'impatto positivo, devo dire che il pranzo e' stato davvero deludente. Ci ha colpito in particolare il fatto che le cozze, servite nell'ambito della degustazione antipasti, avevano un brutto odore, molto forte; lo abbiamo prontamente comunicato e la proprietaria ci ha detto che per lei non era cosi' e che anzi le aveva da poco mangiate, ma che comunque avrebbe chiesto allo chef. Quando e' tornata dalla cucina, non ci ha detto assolutamente nulla e ha continuato come se niente fosse. Sinceramente non l'ho trovato professionale. Riguardo alle altre pietanze servite, quasi tutto il pesce di vario tipo che le componeva non aveva alcun sapore. Conto molto alto in relazione alla qualità dei piatti serviti.

31/08/2025: This was our first time at this restaurant, and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, many unique dishes, and especially the quality of the meat. We also chose this restaurant because they offer gluten-free options, and I must say they were very careful and we didn't encounter any cross-contamination. We'll definitely be back!

05/10/2025: This restaurant on the lively Baia waterfront is a pleasant surprise. High-quality seafood cuisine, starting with seafood cured meats, excellent hot appetizers, and well-balanced and flavorful pasta dishes. Friendly service and an excellent wine list.

23/09/2025: Always high-quality, home-style cuisine, or rather, homemade, at competitive and affordable prices. Neapolitan dishes are prepared with care and respect for our traditions. Parking is difficult, but it's definitely worth it.

12/10/2025: Rather over priced. We were served very tough octopus but only got a half hearted apology. Dishes are generally not as described and clearly unbalanced.
