16/06/2025: Wir waren heute mit unseren drei Kindern hier beim Mittagessen. Absolute Warnung vor dieser Osteria! Bei der Rechnung wurden einfach 20 € mehr berechnet. Wenn wir es nicht sofort nachgerechnet hätten, hätten wir es nicht bemerkt und hätten zusätzlich zu den 10€ Coperto noch 20€ extra bezahlt! Die Erklärung war, dass sich der Taschenrechner verrechnet hätte! Sehr, sehr enttäuschend, so abgezockt zu werden! Dies scheint kein Einzelfall bei dieser Osteria zu sein!!!!!

06/06/2025: Everything was great except the food. The swordfish literally tasted like charcoal, the veal steak was very disappointing compared to the quality you get at other restaurants in the vicinity. I do have to say that the employees were very nice and attentive.

12/06/2025: Angelo Del Mare has the best seafood I've ever had in my life. We were in Tropea for 3 days and went to eat at this restaurant every single day! The staff is so warm and so friendly and truly make you feel like a part of their Italian family! The seafood is so fresh, it is caught that morning and they will tell you all about their catches of the day. The mussels were the freshest i've ever had and the swordfish and tuna steak literally melted in my mouth. The ambiance is so lovely, the restaurant has recently been renovated and is nautical themed and very modern! There is so much love in the food, in their service and in their hospitality, this place is truly one of a kind and I am still dreaming about it. If you are headed to Tropea, go to. Angelo del Mare - trust me, this will be the best seafood you will eat !

10/06/2025: Trust the “catch of the day” and they will not disappoint you. Excellent service, excellent quality and a great welcome. The fish market is located slightly outside the center of Tropea (in a side street) outside the “tourist” areas of the super center.

18/07/2025: poor quality food (tagliolini with clams that tasted only of parsley and clams FULL of sand, carbonara made like an omelette) excessively high price (€44 for two first courses and water) We wouldn't go back, but if we had known beforehand we wouldn't have sat down at all

18/07/2025: We stumbled across this place for our first meal it didn’t disappoint it was incredible!! Our favourite meal of our trip!! The service was great and very attentive. Do yourself a favour and come to Albins in Tropea, I promise you it’s worth it

15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed excellent aperitivos here twice already. The low price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight. Thank you for that!

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

10/07/2025: We had some delicious sandwiches!! Excellent ingredients. The fried foods were also good. We sat outside. Very friendly staff, excellent service.

15/07/2025: We were skeptical because the other restaurants in the center of Tropea were packed, but Terrazza 48 had several tables available. Once inside, we chose both the set menus, meat and fish, that the restaurant offered, and we ate very well and without waiting. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: We received a very warm welcome and were served very well at this restaurant. The food was excellent – the waiter was super friendly and accommodating – all in all, I can only recommend it. Next time, we'll make it to the terrace upstairs 🤩

26/06/2025: Restaurant in a great busy location, perfect fast service, best lasagna on the street, great price (12€), large portion, everything great, I recommend.

23/06/2025: I don't understand the bad reviews at all! The pizza was simply delicious – fresh, crispy, and perfectly topped. The staff was super friendly and attentive; you feel truly welcome. Overall, another great experience in Tropea that we would happily repeat. Highly recommended!

01/07/2025: Simply outstanding. The food exceeded our expectations. The cozze was very flavorful, dressed with parsley and fresh tomatoes. All portions were generous. Delicious pasta, what more can I say? Idyllic setting in the alley. Good house wine.
