10/05/2026: After a long search and many disappointments with restaurants in Tropea, this was definitely our favorite. The food was really worth the money. The pizzas here are absolutely amazing, and the steak was also very good. A bit more expensive, but definitely worth it, with great portion sizes too. Beautiful atmosphere and super friendly staff.

08/05/2026: The service was fantastic, the setting of the restaurant just lovely and the local white wine was by far the best we've had in tropea , the pizza amazing quality and flavors. Highly recommend this restaurant.

13/06/2026: The Cafe Blaise is the social epicenter of the Via Libertà in Tropea! Locals and tourists alike meet here from early to late. Service and products are great and you get friendly, personal support with any problem you could have traveling. If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place for you. I would highly reccomend stopping by and seeing for yourself!

17/05/2026: So we actually never wanted to sit and eat at this restaurant,our goal was' IL BISTROT CALABRESE '. They belong together however we were basically lured and sat down and given the menu that's 3x more expensive (like fine dining more or less) without even being told that it's another restaurant.The food is good, portions kinda small,prices overboard for what you receive. Fine if you want 'influencer vibes',but still a tourist trap.

01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

08/06/2026: Unfortunately, the wine was refused due to the restaurant being closed, despite the presence of staff and other restaurant customers. It's difficult for me to rate the food or the atmosphere; I'm solely assessing the service.

09/03/2026: I've never had a worse meal. An endless wait from the door to the end of the meal. A good two hours to get something to eat, and I don't know how to describe it, what adjective to use to describe it all. From the appetizer to the main course, including a first course (fileja with swordfish sauce) with no seasoning and with the sauce remaining the intention of the person in charge of cooking: cold dishes of truly poor quality. Courtesy is not lacking, but you enter the restaurant not only for the manners... I read the other reviews and wonder if they've changed the chef in the meantime, because today's chef, I believe, is his first experience in the kitchen. What I couldn't have known yesterday is that today I had gastrointestinal problems, resulting in diarrhea. Many thanks to the owner.

02/02/2026: December 31, 2025, passing through Tropea. Last dinner of the year, unpretentious, and before midnight. The owner tells us she also brought her dogs to the restaurant so they wouldn't be scared by the fireworks, and we had ours. During dinner, two explosions were very annoying for us, let alone the dogs. I wanted to go out and protest. At the third, we realized it was the owner's fault, and we ran away. Just one piece of advice, Mr. Owner: commit and invest money and time in quality and speed of service, not in scaring customers away.

In short: Pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service, and top-notch cuisine. We'll definitely be back!
