25/07/2025: Everything was delicious, from the courtesy and attentiveness of the staff to the taste of the excellent quality food, cooked with skill and a pinch of imagination that never hurts.
03/04/2025: On a Thursday evening in early April, the gem of Rende may be very quiet. The cuisine and service at this traditional restaurant are nevertheless top-notch. We received very good quality food, from the antipasto to the dessert. It was a wonderful evening.

01/11/2025: What a great discovery! Small but very well-kept place, the perfect atmosphere we were looking for last night. Good food, beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, everything not fancy/pretentious.
Food: We started with a DELICIOUS tartare, homemade bread. It continued even better with an incredible cuttlefish with Jerusalem artichokes and gnocchi with caciocavallo fondue and anchovies. We decided to try another dish, the leek with potatoes and porcini mushrooms, which was good (but the others were out of this world). Good wines, the lady even told us about the vineyards of my small Greco di Tufo winery.
Cost: €62 for two. We thought the bill was wrong 😅 we expected a higher price overall.
Small minus: a bit of a wait for the dishes, but all in all, it's fine given the pleasantness of the place and the overall situation.
Well done!
13/10/2025: We made a reservation, and when our flight was delayed, it wasn't a problem. We just had to let them know. We had a delicious meal and were advised on the wine. It all worked out perfectly. Pleasant atmosphere and a helpful team. And on a Saturday evening, you're in a quiet neighborhood, easily reached by car.

09/11/2025: The place is very large, well-decorated, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't really like the pizza because I think the mozzarella isn't mozzarella, but rather stretched curd. That was my impression.
12/10/2025: Ordered takeout pizzas. Delicious. Quality ingredients. Perfect pairings. The pizza is thin and full of toppings. Recommended.

28/03/2025: We are from Erasmus and our group was warmly welcomed, you can see the commitment and heart put into this place, and the pizza is the best in the whole area, the staff is always smiling and welcoming, they greet everyone with a smile on their faces and passion, I recommend this place to everyone ☺️

The appetizers are excellent, but the pizza is a bit less so.
20/09/2025: I come here often with friends or my boyfriend. It's a very well-kept place, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend it.

09/11/2025: This McDonald's isn't your usual "come-in-eat-run" kind of place.
Even from the outside, you can feel that there's a different approach. Clean, well-kept spaces, zero chaos. The restrooms? Small, okay, but clean enough to almost shamelessly take a picture in. And that alone, in a fast food restaurant, is as rare as snow on August 15th.
But the real difference is made by the people.
Here, the staff doesn't move like robots with skates under their feet: they move gracefully, delicately, speaking softly between the tables, not shouting, not making a racket. True politeness, the kind that can't be taught, you either have it or you don't.
The girls are polite, smiling without the textbook fake smiley face.
The boys are calm, present, polite. And mind you: truly polite, not that forced "good evening!".
For the first time in ages, I saw my tray arrive at my table. And even an "Is everything okay?" I was startled. I thought to myself: oh, where have I ended up, Buckingham Palace?
The sandwiches? Same recipe, same things we know, but there's that extra eye, the one that makes the difference.
It happens when those who work remember that behind a sandwich there's a person and not a ticket.
In short: a McDonald's that looks like a McDonald's, but is actually something else.
Much better.
05/11/2025: Very short wait, fast service. The fries and sandwich were piping hot and very good. For €20, we ate for two, a drink, a chicken cutlet sandwich, chicken nuggets, fries, and sauces. In short, it's now the cheapest place in town.

13/08/2025: When I go back on vacation, I eat ice cream every day. And I think I'm capable of giving an honest opinion. Today I found myself at the Metropolis shopping center in Rende/Cosenza, specifically at C House. I ordered two medium cups and a brioche with gelato, all three with cream. The gelato was good overall, although not comparable to the artisanal one made in Jacurso (CZ), for example. I would have even accepted the price (€3.50 for the medium cups and €4 for the brioche). But I found it ridiculous, almost insulting, to have paid €0.90 for the additional cream for three—just a smear of cream on the gelato, so to speak. I asked the person at the cashier, Raffaella, if this was the amount I paid €2.70 for. Her response: "Does that seem small to you?" I'm posting the photos and leaving it up to my followers to decide for themselves. I preferred to avoid unnecessary discussions. Referring to other cities in the same region (to name a few: Reggio Calabria, Catanzaro, Pizzo, Tropea, Lamezia) and my previous reviews, I can say that many ice cream shops don't charge extra for cream, and the few others don't charge more than €0.30. But it's at least triple the price of the one I had here today. And definitely better, too.
13/08/2025: Today we went to the C HOUSE COFFEE SHOP and were fortunate enough to be served by Nicola: kindness and attention to detail. He served me a perfect lobster, crispy and creamy just right, while he made two impeccable coffees for my mother and aunt.
The nicest touch? My mother had a caffè macchiato with a heart... a simple gesture that makes you feel special.
A welcoming atmosphere, excellent products, and a service that makes you want to come back. Bravo Nicola! 👏
