18/08/2025: A truly beautiful place, with a breathtaking view even at night. Typical Calabrian pizza, and the penne all'arrabbiata dish is superb! The local wine, produced on site, is delicious. The granita is a must! Reasonable prices.

26/08/2025: A good beach. Spacious umbrellas with all the amenities. The beach has showers and bathrooms. The restaurant is a bit basic, but offers sufficient food. The breakfasts, with hot, fresh croissants, are a very positive note. Overall, a good beach.

16/09/2025: I've been coming to L'Aquila D'Oro for years, and every time it feels like coming home. The cuisine is authentically homemade and exudes all the warmth and passion of the family that runs it. In the kitchen, mom Elisabetta and Giuseppe prepare wonderful dishes, bursting with flavor and tradition. In the dining room, dad Salvatore and Giovanni always welcome you with a smile and a rare warmth: the hospitality here is truly special. I recommend everyone try the tripe, one of the restaurant's most incredible specialties: flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. L'Aquila D'Oro isn't just for good food, but for an experience of family, hospitality, and authentic cuisine. A place I will always hold in my heart.

08/09/2025: Overall, a positive experience. The only drawback was the lack of mosquito nets, which prevented us from opening the windows at night, preventing us from enjoying the fresh air at night. We therefore opted to use the air conditioning units, which were present and worked well, for longer periods of time.

Specific Analysis: 1- Inviting appearance 2- Well-cooked with a honeycomb crust and just the right amount of crust 3- Good consistency due to a properly matured dough 4- Well-balanced salt, definitely with a ratio of 2.5%-3% 5- Balanced toppings and combinations, each raw ingredient is distinctly perceived. 6- No feeling of thirst during the night, synonymous with a long leavening process, definitely 48h-72h, with a balance of ingredients in contrast with the sodium. Overall rating 10/10. Recommended

Chef Tommaso Proganò transformed every dish into a sensory journey: every bite captured the true essence of the sea, with authentic, refined, and perfectly balanced flavors. A special thanks goes to all the staff, who made the evening even more special with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The perfect atmosphere for such a special occasion. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience, where the passion for cooking shines through in every dish. Thank you so much for making my son's 18th birthday a moment to remember forever.

10/09/2025: I spent half of my breaks and breakfasts here during the holidays. The coffee and pastries were top-notch.

29/08/2025: Fresh cornetti, including whole-grain or vegan, ice cream, pizzas, etc. You can ask the baker directly about the ingredients, and they'll be happy to provide information. Everything is transparent. Good coffee with the characteristic taste of a lever-operated portafilter machine. All top-notch at great prices you could only dream of in Germany. We paid €13 for five.

26/08/2025: My partner and I went to this amazing place where you can hear the waves while you eat, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. It's great for families because there are lots of games for kids. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

02/09/2025: I paid for a small cone, and only after I'd prepared it was they told me I could add dark or white chocolate as a topping. Moreover, the bottom was completely empty, and they put very little chocolate on top.

16/08/2025: The gelato is delicious; the creams are solid and don't melt immediately. Another plus is that the cream is included in the price of the gelato, unlike almost all other gelato shops that charge extra.
