14/12/2025: My wife and I occasionally stop in Reggio Calabria from Vibo Valentia, and being used to large aperitifs at other places in Reggio, we stumbled upon this place. We ended up eating a mini platter with four appetizers, practically nothing. The non-alcoholic cocktail, made with freshly blended fruit, was excellent, and the price wasn't exactly cheap at €8. Aside from the cocktail, the service was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. But I'm giving it one star because, after an aperitif, being as hungry as if you hadn't eaten anything is unacceptable in Reggio Calabria, famous for its large aperitifs.

28/03/2026: A while ago the pizza was much better, lately they've been making it poor, with very little stuff inside, it looks like a white focaccia with two courgettes and an aubergine, you can barely see the stuff to eat on it... I won't go next time to follow...

14/12/2025: As soon as we entered, the place was truly warm and welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail. We ordered the rotisserie first. I recommend the potato croquettes, which are truly authentic, but the whole rotisserie is delicious. Then I ordered the pizza. It's excellent dough, cooked in a wood-fired oven, perfectly cooked, but the special thing is the combination of authentic ingredients. Then there's the sorbet and a nice bitter. They also offer craft beer. The staff is friendly, polite, and top-notch professional. I highly recommend it, a truly welcoming place.

05/10/2025: Atmosphere is nice. We ordered the starter (cheese with mushrooms), primo plate (risotto with Gorgonzola) and side dish (aubergine balls on a stick). We asked to eat this all together at the same time. We got our food in this order , aubergine first, waited 10 minutes got the risotto and 15 minutes later the cheese. The aubergine balls and the cheese with mushrooms were nice, the risotto was way too salty and not cooked properly.

03/10/2025: We were looking for a warm place on a cold evening. Our train was canceled after a very long journey, and we were sad. The atmosphere of this place, the service, and the food completely changed our mood! I wish we could have stayed longer 😊 We'll definitely be back!

28/02/2026: Last night, we arrived at the venue with high expectations, having made reservations a full two months in advance. Unfortunately, from the moment we entered, the feeling was one of disorganized and confusing management. The reservations, which theoretically should have guaranteed a specific seat (in my case, I had number 24), "as the owner said, seats aren't numbered, but reservations are valid," turned out to be entirely unreliable. We were seated on the upper floor, while the lower floor, which we had been told was reserved, was exclusively for people clearly close to the owner. A distinction that left us a bit perplexed. The overall organization of the evening seemed improvised: it hadn't been clearly communicated that the expected guest, Corona, would arrive around 1:00 AM. This led to an exhausting wait of about five hours for an appearance that lasted less than half an hour, and was also handled with evident haste. On the food front, the experience was equally disappointing: a pizza and a Coke for €40 represented frankly unjustifiable value for money. Even more unpleasant was the attitude toward any add-ons: for simple fries costing €10, payment was demanded immediately, as if there was a fear of non-payment. To top it all off, the evening was stiflingly hot, with no open windows or adequate ventilation, many people visibly uncomfortable, and numerous complaints from those, like us, who had booked well in advance. In short, what could have been a pleasant evening turned into an experience marked by disorganization, poor communication, and inattentive customer service. I sincerely hope that serious consideration will be given to future planning, because the potential is there, but right now it is completely obscured by inadequate management.

15/02/2026: We went to this place tonight, and we had really high hopes based on their photos... but unfortunately, it wasn't to be... low-quality ingredients, an inedible burger, and days-old bread. The service was pleasant. I'm sorry I won't be able to return and share a good experience.

27/02/2026: Horrible experience. Yesterday morning's aperitif was one of the worst I've ever had. The food had flavors and textures that seriously raised doubts about its freshness. Some products had an altered taste and looked anything but reassuring. Needless to say, after a few hours I felt ill, with severe stomach pain, and I spent the whole night with severe intestinal discomfort. I'd been to this place once before, and even then, I didn't feel well after the aperitif. I still wanted to give it a second chance, thinking it was an isolated incident, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. An aperitif should be a pleasant experience, not an experience that ruins your night. Personally, I won't be returning, and I absolutely can't recommend it to anyone.

18/01/2026: A completely negative experience, celebrating an eightieth birthday. A series of appetizers that were embarrassing to say the least, followed by two inedible first courses, so loaded with flavor enhancers they were disgusting.

26/12/2025: The restaurant recently changed ownership. After going there for three years in a row and always having a great experience, this evening was definitely an experience not to be repeated. We ate for two, without bread, vegetables were served twice with the soil and cooking water, and a portion of irregularly cut swordfish rolls. A small, boney snapper. A glass of wine and water. €60 with the vegetable portions deducted from the bill.

05/02/2026: 80s-style place, service? What kind? 2 spaghetti with lupini beans and mussels plus a bottle of Cirò wine, from a discount store, 50 euros! For lunch. If it had been a nice place... Never again!

25/08/2025: Deeply disappointed. Thinking back to several years ago, I find the truffles smaller, the fillings minimal, and the prices have almost tripled. I understand the inflation, but there seems to have been a dramatic change in direction in the business. The truffles aren't like they used to be, but they're still good, but like others, so I'll go elsewhere for future purchases given the price.

25/08/2025: Family-run store. It offers adequate customer service and is a year-round destination for residents and visitors alike. The food, service, and atmosphere are average.
