29/03/2025: Very rude staff low quality food

28/12/2024: Super crowded place, terrible service, we ordered at 9.30pm and they served us at well after 11pm, they brought the dishes to the table but we didn't have cutlery, we asked several times for bread which was never brought to us , the only thought was to collect the empty glasses and ask if we wanted anything else to drink, for a cutlet for a little girl we waited more than an hour and a half, definitely not a place I would like to return to.

23/06/2025: I have been a customer with my family and friends for a few years at the Trocadero lido. I want to write a review for the restaurant and in particular for Rosy, daughter of the owner Andrea, who is the chef this year. I had a fish-based dinner with some of my friends who were guests on holiday, and I must say that we were very satisfied, fresh fish cooked with the genuine flavours of our beloved Calabria: oil, tomato, onions, DOP... Rosy delighted us with her skill for 2 evenings. Satisfied with the quality as well as the price. I will definitely repeat with friends and relatives when I return in July for the longest summer holidays. Maria Vittoria

22/06/2025: The photos on the site are old, the place is very (for years) neglected, prices are as they want, my nephews went for breakfast, two croissants for a coffee they charged €6.50, when they asked why so much (thinking that maybe they got the sums wrong), they were told, that they took the large croissants, and they stopped at 2.50, despite the price of 1.50 they put it after a week. Not recommended.

02/03/2025: Delicious food, we were early so we were alone in the room, but we were kindly helped and we had a delicious meal. We will be back soon!

01/05/2025: We’re from Pompeii and have been coming down to Calabria every year for over 7 years. We never leave without stopping at Mana Pub for the best swordfish panino in all of Scilla! I totally recommend this place — not only for the incredibly tasty panino, but also for the great service and very reasonable prices!

26/04/2025: Terrible from all points of view, Burnt pizza underneath with raw tomato sauce, irregular and improper spreading given the crust full of dough and, finally, excessively watery dairy products. Not to mention the chips (thawed) and the tiramisu which was just a tasteless ice cube. The service was slow but at least lightened by the joking staff.

28/04/2025: The Santo Janni farmhouse is a structure surrounded by greenery and includes two rooms, one small and the other a little larger. The rooms are very bright due to the large windows present, and the structure is made of wood. There are no problems with parking because it is large. The staff is friendly and helpful. The starter is plentiful, consisting of various courses of good quality. Too bad the meat is overcooked so it becomes a little tough. To tell the truth, I expected more.

29/06/2025: If you are looking for a restaurant with a spectacular view, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, the magic ends there. We showed up at the restaurant without a reservation, with the intention of enjoying an aperitif at sunset. The staff sat us at a table. Everything seemed to be going well until another member of staff approached our table with a confused and embarrassed expression. They explained to us, in a hesitant tone, that there had been a mistake and that our table was actually reserved. Their concern was obvious: they did not know how to handle the situation. They did not tell us to leave immediately, but the message was clear: as soon as the real people with reservations arrived, we would have to get up and leave the place. This situation made us uncomfortable. Not only was the mistake theirs, but they unloaded the responsibility for a problem that they should have handled professionally on us. For the rest of the time, we felt unsteady, ready to be "evicted" at any moment. The uncertainty and embarrassment completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. For us, the evening was ruined. The experience was humiliating and the treatment received was unacceptable, especially in a place that presents itself as being of a certain level. The view is not worth the arrogance and lack of professionalism of the staff. I strongly advise against this place to anyone looking not only for a beautiful view, but also a minimum of respect and courtesy.

26/04/2025: Disappointing, out of three pizzas ordered, two were wrong, of which the margherita with buffalo mozzarella was marked as deviled so it also arrived very spicy.

25/06/2025: The best gelatos and granitas!!! We stayed at this hotel for four nights with our motorcycles and received a very warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable—just the right place to relax after a long day on the road. The bar/gelateria was very busy, and there was always a pleasant, lively atmosphere. Special praise goes to Giovanni, the owner, who always looked after us in a friendly and attentive manner. The rest of the staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. We felt completely at home and would gladly come back!

02/06/2025: Premesso che, non siamo, ovviamente e nemmeno lontanamente, in un ristorante stellato, ma in una semplice "trattoria" sulla via di passaggio delle auto; tutto si svolge nella mediocre normalità, tranne per il fatto che i prezzi sono terribilmente alti da far apparire il contrario. La location, situata in parte su un cortiletto coperto con del plexigass con quattro condizionatori e da un menù fotocopia stile anni 70, cui stesso porta al suo interno poche pietanze retrò volontariamente e copiosamente arricchite da fuori menù "orali" adornati come specialità del giorno, ma che di speciale hanno solo il prezzo che troverete a fine pasto. Quindi, un consiglio, chiedete sempre il costo dei fuori menù, altrimenti vi ritroverete con prezzi che neanche un vero chef come Cracco a Milano potrà presentarvi (nell'eventualità provate a confrontarli). Nel complesso voto 4. Poco altro da aggiungere. Provare per credere.

06/02/2025: Espectacular comida en un espacio de lo más encantador comisariado con cariño por gente maravillosa. Me encantó todo, pero lo mejor fue charlar con la signora Daniela extremadamente conocedora y la divina sopa de verduras con huevo en la parte superior.

19/01/2025: We booked at this inn, but our opinion can only be terrible. The room was very dirty, the beds were completely dirty and I prefer not to comment on the bathroom... indecent!
