12/08/2025: Villa Ersilia is located in a quiet location outside the chaotic center of Soverato.
We booked a "family suite," and our expectations were far from what we expected given the price.
The apartment was spacious but dirty and shabby, with a moldy shower, ants near the refrigerator, and furniture that wasn't even from the 1980s!
HORRIBLE, as Bruno Barbieri would say.
The price/quality ratio was truly disappointing.
The only positive note: the continental breakfast.
01/08/2025: Villa Ersilia stands out from other accommodations in Soverato primarily for the excellent service it offers. The rooms are spacious, equipped with every comfort (except for hangers in the closet), impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. It offers a convenient free shuttle service and a special agreement with one of the best beaches in town. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

08/02/2026: The facility is very clean and, above all, very welcoming. In the evenings, there was entertainment for adults and children, and for Saturday dinner, we dined in the restaurant. Everything was very good and fresh.
Congratulations, keep up the good work!
01/02/2026: A charming place in the heart of the Sila Mountains. The Lorica residence directly overlooks Lake Arvo, offering visitors a unique spectacle. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Kudos to manager Sergio, who is always ready to accommodate every need.

17/03/2026: The food tasted very good, but the prices were far too high. Charging 20 euros for a portion of pasta with ONE shrimp is a rip-off. For 20 euros, I expected a large portion full of shrimp. There are better restaurants in Tropea.
10/11/2025: Delicious food and very attentive service. A great place for lunch.
They offer a lunch menu with first and second courses, a good selection of wines, and decent coffee with Amaro del Capo.

Bad experience, unfriendly... after we had a really great Pizza on Thursday night.
Friday night no table because of children birthday, Saturday evening no interest to serve guests...
16/08/2025: Excellent pizza, exquisite ingredients, slow-rising pizza, well-hydrated and generously topped.
The only negative is the service, which leaves a lot to be desired. They prioritize takeout; if you dine in at one of the few available seats, the wait is unjustifiable.
We arrived at 7:30 PM and ordered shortly after, but the pizza was served at 9:00 PM.

10/01/2026: Can't give any stars. Their website said they were open, so having wandered around in a storm in the dark we finally found a closed pub. Very disappointing. :-(
Better if you keep your hours accurate guys. :-)

25/02/2026: We stayed at this property for my niece's 18th birthday party and felt right at home... Mr. Franco at the front desk was friendly and attentive to our every need. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with homemade crostata and ciambella (a ring cake), as well as traditional Calabrian cured meats and excellent bread made by their pizza chef.
The wooden reception room is stunning. The aperitif buffet was delicious, featuring rotisserie dishes prepared by Chef Lady Mina and Marco's pizza al pala (a slice). The Calabrian dinner was excellent, along with the marinated anchovies prepared by the owner, Enza. We'll be back this summer...
06/01/2026: We were there with a tour group; the breakfast and dinner were disastrous. We had to retrieve our luggage from the bakery because it wasn't available at the hotel. In the evening, we had the same pasta with tomato sauce twice, only once with added chili. I will never stay at this hotel again.

03/04/2026: The food was quite good, the staff were polite and welcoming, the only flaw was that I couldn't try the kebab, which according to other diners was excellent, because I was coeliac and it wasn't kept in a pristine environment.

The facilities are really beautiful and the bathroom is decent, just like at home. Which is no small thing.

16/08/2025: Since they opened, every year as per tradition, the first pizza of the holidays has been there, and it's always been good. This year I was disappointed; the dough fell short of our expectations. Not satisfied, we tried to get it again, but to no avail. We'll try again next year, and let's hope for the best.
On the plus side, the staff.
15/08/2025: A truly positive experience. Armando, the owner, is a truly wonderful person. Very helpful and friendly. Plus, we had lunch; everything was delicious, the appetizers were spectacular.
I'll definitely be back.

18/02/2026: The appetizers were good. Pasta with clams. Trofie with red eggplant and swordfish sauce. Both excellent. The swordfish rolls and fried squid (fresh) were very delicious. The house white wine was decent. Service wasn't fast, but it was adequate for the evening: Saturday, Valentine's Day, there were about 70 of us. The price was more than fair.
13/10/2025: Austere atmosphere, minimal service, unappealing and mediocre quality dishes.

21/06/2025: I have been there several times. Exceptional, staff always very helpful, I happened to have to cancel a reservation at the last minute due to a family problem and I only lost a very small deposit left at the time of booking. They did not ask me for anything else.
