14/07/2025: Total Disappointment – Inedible Fried Calamari I hate to leave a negative review, but what I received from Pizzeria Rosticceria URLO is unacceptable, especially in a seaside town like Cariati, known for its fishing and excellent seafood. I ordered fried calamari (see attached photo), and they seemed anything but fresh: rubbery, tasteless, clearly frozen for a long time. No crunch, no seafood—just a stale, artificial flavor. It felt like chewing plastic. In a coastal area traditionally associated with seafood, serving such a product is disrespectful to the customer and to local tradition. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but I wouldn't return with this quality. The pizza was decent, nothing exceptional, but still edible.

13/07/2025: Fantastic experience at Hotel La Felce! Beautiful property with a pool and theater, engaging entertainment (especially for children), and truly excellent cuisine! Special thanks to the maître d' Franco, professional and passionate, a delightful person. The Calabrian evening with traditional food, music, and dancing was unforgettable, and the evening trip to Diamante town center was also wonderful, relaxing and well-organized. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. We will definitely be back!

20/07/2025: A truly beautiful location!!! The interior dining room is elegant and meticulously finished. You can also eat outside in the large garden adjacent to the dining room. The food is truly excellent and made with top-quality ingredients. Excellent dishes, both in the restaurant and the pizzeria. The staff are very friendly and above-average in their helpfulness and politeness. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

03/08/2025: Location caratteristica, panoramica, distaccata dal caos di Diamante. Cibo di ottima qualità , piatti abbondanti, camerieri gentili e disponibili. Trovato per caso tramite trip , rimasti felicemte sorpresi , ci torneremo !

23/07/2025: First time dining here, and honestly, everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Fried calamari, risotto, shrimp cocktail in pink sauce—no complaints. Prices were reasonable. One star less for the service, not so much for the speed (the guys who served us were all very quick, to be honest, and the kitchen didn't keep us waiting long despite the restaurant being packed) but for one reason: serving customers with, if not a smile, at least not a look that was somewhere between pissed off and annoyed is crucial. Anyway, I had a good time; next time I come back, I hope to find a slightly friendlier staff.

02/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante a.fine Luglio 2025. La location è suggestiva ed è relativamente accogliente (un po' freddo). Si può cenare sia all'interno del locale che all'esterno. Il menù è ricco, anche se i prezzi sono superiori alla media dei ristoranti del posto. La carta dei Vini è altrettanto cara e non prevede vini della casa. Non tutti i piatti sono preparati con maestria. Abbiamo apprezzato gli antipasti, ma non i primi a base di funghi. Per una cena completa, il.costo medio si aggira intorno le € 60,00 se ci si contiene con il vino, altrimenti si supera l'importo sopra citato.

28/07/2025: The atmosphere and pizza were good. Parking was available, close to the restaurant. The only flaw was that the cheese and chili peppers for the pasta and pizza were not brought to the table.

20/07/2025: Comfortable and quiet place, friendly and attentive staff. We asked for both the restaurant and the pizzeria, both excellent, tasty dishes, good chef and excellent pizza maker. Parking is easy, good value for money, considering the fish dishes. Thank you, Rosario, the owner, who spontaneously conveys the idea of a person who loves his job. See you soon.

09/06/2025: Royal treatment! The four of us relied on the owner to choose the menu: everything local from the land appetizers to traditional dishes (onions and eggs, cruschi peppers, seasonal vegetables... ). For the first course, homemade rascatielli, a delicacy. I highly recommend it!
