23/11/2025: Excellent hospitality, the owners Mimmo and his wife, who is also the chef, are unique. You feel at home, pampered and advised on everything—the cuisine, itineraries, and local customs—as if you were a lifelong friend. The cleanliness and order of the property and the rooms are impeccable. The bedroom with ensuite bathroom is bright, with every comfort you could need, well-furnished and airy, and offers an unforgettable view of the garden. The guest parking is very large and well-maintained; I was on a motorbike, and they let me park my vehicle in a private, covered area, something few do. The outdoor spaces are well-maintained and clean, and the vast gardens offer unique views. The food is indescribable; you absolutely have to try it: homemade pasta made by the wife and her son, using local products of their own production, exquisite guanciale, delicious desserts made by the son, and it deserves its stars because when you eat, you feel like you're in heaven. The service is attentive and perfect. What more can I say? Come and try it, you'll be amazed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Sergio

24/11/2025: Excellent trattoria, very good food, honest owner. I asked if the porcini mushrooms were fresh, but with a sincerity few restaurants offer, he replied that they weren't. I really appreciate this kind of people. I'll gladly return.

16/11/2025: A lovely trattoria located in a stunning village. The staff was friendly and attentive, people who take great pride in their profession. The place is truly charming. The dishes are delicious, especially the first courses. A feast for the eyes and the palate. Very reasonable prices. Excellent house wine. ❤️

11/10/2025: We stayed at Borgo la Tana during the two central weeks of August. The property is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and spacious rooms—ours, a mini-apartment—with a small table and chairs outside to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The rooms are extremely clean and practical, equipped with drying racks, handy soap dispensers for both shower and hand soap, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The entire staff was very friendly, from the cleaning ladies, always ready with a smile and ready to "fix" the mess on the beach, like sand and pebbles everywhere, to the waiters, who were also present but not pushy. The cuisine is varied, with both local and non-local meat and fish dishes, and there is a discreet and efficient restaurant manager who oversees the main meals. The property's true treasure, however, is Mr. Aldo, a man in love with his homeland, provided us with information on the main beaches to visit and any special offers available at the resorts, right from the first evening. He also provided pocket-sized brochures to take with us to reach our desired destinations. Finally, a special mention for the self-service breakfast we enjoyed every morning: homemade cakes, traditional pastries, fresh figs picked every morning, and honeycomb! 23/09/2025: We arrived as guests for a few nights. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. On the first evening, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was tidy and the service very friendly. For us, it was very bright, which perhaps made the atmosphere a little less romantic. You can clearly see what you're eating. Both the tuna and the swordfish were overcooked and dry, but that might be due to the Southern Italian way of preparing them. For hotel guests, there's a breakfast buffet next to the pool. When we arrived, we thought it was a sandwich shop, but you can point to what you want and it's brought to you. Again, the service was very friendly. Swimming caps were required for the pool, an old Italian tradition we've encountered less and less frequently, this year only at Borgo La Tana.

05/01/2026: I can't find the words to describe the attention to detail, the view we could enjoy from every window, and Barbara's helpfulness, which made us feel right at home. We were a group of three families. We also dined at the property's restaurant, which also had excellent food and a truly wonderful atmosphere. I can't recommend it highly enough.

21/12/2025: I only stayed one night (what a shame). Barbara offered a family welcome. We then had dinner, and everything was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. In the morning, we met the owner. I recommend it to everyone.

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this yogurt shop for years, but unfortunately, I have to say that tonight's experience was very disappointing. It was really hot inside, and while sitting near the window, I simply moved the curtain slightly to get some air. The owner, instead of understanding the situation, spoke to me rudely and impolitely, telling me not to touch it because it "broke." I honestly find it absurd that a customer should feel reprimanded for such a trivial gesture, especially when they report a real discomfort like the heat. No attention or kind words, just rudeness. I'm very sorry to write this as a loyal customer, but with this attitude, the place loses much of its value. I will never return. P.S.: A smile is cheap... and the customers who bring you money would appreciate it much more.

26/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly service, nice and peaceful off season and enough choice for a couple of vegetarians!

20/09/2025: We walked up without a reservation and were seated right away. The waitress was excellent as was the food. We had the fresh fish of the day and split it between us. It was worth the money.

The fried chicken is simply special: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, prepared with care and flavor just like in days gone by. Generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a genuine feel that makes you feel right at home. A place you'll always want to return to.
