15/08/2025: We ordered a grilled sausage, a veal rib, and a homemade pasta dish with ricotta and cruschi peppers. On the side, we had a salad, chicory, and cruschi peppers. Everything was delicious!

10/10/2025: Clean, comfortable neighborhood. The friendly and welcoming Carmelina advised us on the dishes... all excellent courses, from appetizers to main courses, delicious with cod.

05/10/2025: We're not there. Failed. It doesn't even deserve one star. We drove 1.5 hours to eat the cod, but the one they brought wasn't fresh. Obviously, I don't recommend it.

17/10/2025: We came later at night and the food was great. They let you order at the table from a tablet so you can take your time looking if you don’t speak Italian. The fried rice was so good with a good mix of veggies. The sushi was average. Overall we really enjoyed eating here!

14/10/2025: I highly recommend Sushi Stone. This is my fourth or fifth time visiting Matera and I have eaten at four or five different sushi restaurants in that time and this is by far my new favorite. They offer all you can eat for lunch and dinner as well as à la carte. I always choose à la carte. Today my server was amazing. Not speaking Italian I needed a lot of help and he was great. He probably came to my table ten times in the hour I spent there and never made me feel like a nuisance. I enjoyed a shrimp tempura roll and gyoza. I also ordered dishes to take back home and everything was delicious. All of my special requests were honored and they did not up charge me for anything. The restaurant is super convenient, right behind the Palumbaro, beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable in spite of being n the middle of tourists. This will be my go to place for sushi and Chinese in the future.

09/05/2025: Excellent environment and service. Delicious chips, really good sandwich and the dessert was delicious. Some food could be improved, but overall an excellent place.

06/05/2025: Mojito, little rum, good cosmopolitan, good octopus burger, breast burger without learning everything went away from inside the bread, nothing blended, but with good flavor, potatoes with good skin, cheese and truffle croquetas, good but I think they had to add another one, for say 1 euro / one. Good service, bar, good and they listened to customers choice. Offered coffee and cocktails.

20/05/2025: IL posto lascia presagire che ci si imbatte in un luogo con una grande cultura culinaria, ma poi si capisce che non è altro che l ennesimo luogo per turisti inconsapevoli di cosa sia il buon cibo. Salumi di bassa fattura, primi buttati a caso solo un secondo accettabile il cinghiale cotto bene, ma sicuramente non al finocchietto selvatico. Servizio così cosi, un po troppo ironico il cameriere. La pulizia bhe...lasciamo perdere. Peccato perché il territorio offre molto e la struttura è caratteristica

20/05/2025: Siamo stati qui per un week end, si respira aria di tranquillità, personale gentile e disposto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze ! Colazione e cena ottime ,camere un po antiche ma tutto sommato pulite , insomma tutto tenuto bene. Grazie

15/08/2025: The atmosphere and location were very nice, as were the staff and the service, which was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Many dishes were sold out (the tripe and the fusilli). The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses also included other dishes (all potato-based): stewed fava beans, cruschi peppers, followed by cavatelli with cherry tomatoes and ricotta cheese, and cavatelli with breadcrumbs. The pasta was overcooked and I think precooked. It must have been a bad day. The prices are absolutely not high.

27/05/2025: We came to this pizzeria one evening, the pizza was good, just add a little more salt, the girl who served us amazed me with her kindness and always with a smile, I have never seen such refinement. Congratulations to you... we will come back again

24/09/2025: Quick stop with a truck... 2 loaves of bread €7 ok! 1 Margherita pizza €2.50 let's say! 2.20 1 coffee... maybe the lady mistook me for an Americano huh... I say they literally screwed me over the coffee and then it went up so dramatically booo could you ask why you didn't ask the price? True... but I wanted to see if the burning smell I was smelling was accurate... no offense but I'll tell the relevant people to keep an eye on the place and the prices applied out of sympathy perhaps! I will certainly never set foot in there again! I advise the lady who works there to pay more attention to what you do instead of complaining...
