Antonio ( Cuoco custode della tradizione culinaria del Pollino) e’ una persona speciale , ottimo cuoco che ti illustra le pietanze (abbondanti e molto varie) personalmente creando un’atmosfera familiare e priva di inutili fronzoli. Abbiamo pernottato in masseria e svegliarsi con il canto del gallo e’ bellissimo. Siamo fuggiti dalla città in cerca di pace e siamo stati esauditi oltre ogni aspettativa!

27/06/2025: Excellent trattoria, exactly what you expect and hope to find in vacation spots. Really typical and excellent quality cuisine. The service is familiar, puts you at ease and makes your stay even more pleasant. I absolutely recommend the strascinati and the rustic house dessert "le rocce". We will definitely return and to the young owner, who with great commitment and courage carries on the business, I invite you to continue on the path taken because you will receive great satisfaction.

Stefano, explains every dish to you in detail, as if he were inviting you to eat at his home ... highly recommended!

27/06/2025: A gastronomic jewel in the heart of Acerenza. During our stay in Acerenza, we had the pleasure of dining at Al Duomo, a restaurant and pizzeria that won us over from the first moment. The staff was extremely kind and polite, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The place is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and tidy, a sign of great attention and professionalism. The cuisine was a real revelation: we tasted delicious, light and tasty fritters, and a simply excellent pizza, fragrant and well-filled. All served with perfect timing and a sincere smile. A truly special moment was the meeting with the pizza chef, a friendly and passionate person, who also honored us with an artisanal bread made by him: a simple but precious gesture, which tells the authenticity of this place. Il Duomo deserves much more than 5 stars, for the hospitality, the quality of the food and the authentic atmosphere it manages to convey. An unmissable stop in Acerenza, which we enthusiastically recommend to everyone.

03/07/2025: Fantastic food, really very good! Only disappointment was that we (reservation too late) did not sit outside with the beautiful view but under a kind of canopy at the entrance. Book in time and explicitly state that you want to sit outside with a view!

09/06/2025: I visited this authentic little Italian place with my partner and two of my friends. We ordered a mortadella pesto and a salami fig salsas panini. The flavours just exploded in our mouths, the ingredients were delicious also separately and very fresh. The lady who prepared the food was very kind. I highly recommend this place.

28/05/2025: An excellent place to have lunch or dinner! We had a 4 course menu with poached egg with a parmigiano sauce and truffles, followed by pork-belly honey-lacquered. Delicious and well presented. Waiter speaks all sort of languages (besides mother-tongue Italian) so easy to communicate and find the best wine for your dish :-)

22/05/2025: I read some serious reviews about this restaurant here. I can only think that these people were very unlucky. I found the atmosphere on the terrace very pleasant, the service was absolutely kind and courteous, the food very good and the price fair, in line with the prices charged in the region. The experience was so good that I went back the next day. Later I realized that most of the reviews were quite old, from years ago, so I think they are no longer justified. I recommend it.

09/07/2025: Excellent food, wine, and service. We had the peperoni cruschi with pecorino canestrato (12 euros), medallions stuffed with provola and eggplant (16 euros), mixed grill of local meats (26 euros), and delicious white wine.

09/07/2025: Nice restaurant with about 20 tables. Quiet, pleasant and the service is at a very high level. The staff speaks very good English. Local dishes are offered. I recommend Medaglioni filled with provola cheese and aubergines, peperoni cruschi with pecorino, grigliata mista di carni del territorio. They sent us a gift... a package of pasta.

04/06/2025: Da tempo volevo andare in questa perla della Basilicata..amici mi avevano raccontato che I sapori veri dei Briganti li avrei trovati in questo ottimo e accogliente agriturismo e Braceria degne di questo nome, davvero tanti i piatti con prodotti direttamente dall’azienda del sig. Giovanni, dall’allevamento, alla lavorazione e cottura per poi servire a tavola in un atmosfera curata negli arredi e nel servizio attento e cortese. Ci siamo sentiti accompagnati nel calore e fragore di una mandria sulle “ vie della transumanza “, che fermandosi al bivacco, assaporano il gusto e la genuinità di tanto sacrificio del cammino. Si accendono i fuochi e il girarrosto risuona nei canti di un tempo ritrovato..prima di andare vi consiglio acquistare dei loro prodotti d’eccellenza dal Caciocavallo Podolico ( che spero d’impiccare molto presto ), i salumi tipici da allevamenti della loro fattoria e insaccati ( ovviamente senza additivi e conservanti)..a un Pecorino dal profumo d’erbe di montagna..e che vuoi di più dalla Vita..!!!!Grazie ancora ancora al sig. Giovanni e a sua figlia Enza per la splendida accoglienza. Ritorneremo presto a trovarvi..

08/07/2025: My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant and the food was truly delicious. The appetizer was delicious and very generous, and for the main course we had a mixed roast with a side of potatoes. The dessert was delicious and fresh, and the house-made bitters were kindly provided. The only flaw was the house red wine, which wasn't excellent for my taste. Reasonable price, friendly staff, and an experience I'll definitely repeat.
