16/09/2025: We had dinner at this quaint place. We only managed to order appetizers due to the variety and abundance! What can I say? Everything was very rustic and delicious. The waiters were friendly, and the chef interacted with us even though he had service. Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Beautiful place, we had a wonderful time, relaxed and peaceful. Clean rooms and impeccable service, very helpful. Very good food and locally sourced products, super generous portions. Antonio is a true host, Francesco, Antonia, and Florensa are very professional and helpful.

06/10/2025: A regular stop when we go to Venosa, a very beautiful town with lots to see, and strolling through the center is relaxing. The restaurant is very well decorated for my taste, the ingredients are top-quality, the chef puts them together very well, the wine cellar is well-stocked, and the price is average. I recommend it.

28/09/2025: Recommended by a friend, I decided to try it, so on Thursday, September 25, my wife and I went there. It is located in a historic corner of the city of ACERENZA, behind the beautiful Duomo. We found a very comfortable and elegant environment, as well as clean and well-ordered. The welcome was very elegant, with extreme kindness and availability. Our choice was already oriented towards a good pizza. Browsing the menu, there was a wide choice from classics to homemade creations, as well as various appetizers. I don't want to go on too long, so I'll conclude by saying that I found a pizzeria that can be classified among the best, with top-notch taste. We also decided to try the restaurant, which already looks inviting from the photos. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, perhaps as a refreshment point after a nice walk in this historic village of ours, and especially after a visit to the cathedral, which is stunning. THANK YOU FOR THIS ADDED VALUE TO OUR LAND.

13/10/2025: Amazing gelato, the best in Matera!! It was so creamy and wasn’t too sweet for our Asian taste buds. We tried other flavours but our favourite is pistachio and chocolate! Their tiramisu is also absolutely delicious, highly recommend!

15/09/2025: We've just arrived in Matera. It's lunchtime, and before entering the historic center, we found this little restaurant. They have a display of the different types of fresh pasta you can order. They're very friendly, and their food is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Started scrolling and had to stop;too many! 99.9% agreed on delicious, authentic,local, traditional ,organic,home made,friendly,welcoming atmosphere,fairly priced,quick service. I came with my son a true gourmet raised in Japan,where in my opinion food quality standards are pretty high; we both can vow for all the above. Two things left to mention: I enjoyed the red wine very much and when Stefano explained it was also home made,I asked to buy a bottle. There were no bottles but he could fill me a pet bottle. It's been 2 days since I left Basilica and I'm still enjoying their wine with dinner. Grazie mille Stefano and family,keep up the good work and we wish you succes with your restaurant!

28/09/2025: September 2025 Fixed menu... A miserable lunch, a house appetizer and two first courses. The fixed menu cost €25, with no second course, excluding drinks. We had to split the €11 for four second courses, because there wasn't a second course on the fixed menu. I also woke up feeling hungry. Not to mention the service seemed to be doing us a favor. Out of €473, 11 people, not even offering us a free liqueur. Not recommended at all... go somewhere else.

11/10/2025: Que went there after MateraMi didn’t take us in because we didn’t have a reservation. This place DID NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was great. We totally recommend it! If you are in Matera don’t miss this place!

19/09/2025: A magnificent setting in the Sassi, a smiling, attentive, and warm staff... and delicious food from start to finish! Special mention goes to the carbonara, a real favorite, but the rest of the menu is just as tempting. Each dish exudes local tradition, with authentic and well-executed flavors. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our first evening and enjoyed typical regional dishes. We loved it so much that we returned the next day for lunch—it's become our go-to restaurant during our stay in Matera. Excellent tiramisu, friendly atmosphere, impeccable service... A superb culinary discovery in a charming place! I recommend it without hesitation! 🍝✨
