17/02/2026: I had the pleasure of staying at this property, and the experience was truly wonderful. Antonio and Francesco are extremely welcoming: from the moment you arrive, they make you feel at home, with a kindness and attention that truly makes a difference. The property and its surroundings are comfortable, relaxing, and very clean. The food is excellent, high-quality, and above all, plentiful, prepared with great care and passion. Furthermore, the view is simply stunning: waking up to such a beautiful view makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend a few days relaxing, enjoying good food, and experiencing authentic hospitality. I will definitely be back!

24/01/2026: The shop looks really nice and the owner seemed very kind. We bought the traditional Pane di Semola Grano Duro and Prosciutto cotto, so we can try them at home. Only when we got home we noticed that we were sold stale bread which expired 2 days ago. This was very disapointing, so please shop with caution!

13/01/2026: Cozy atmosphere. Delicious food - every bite was a delight, especially the truffle tagliatelle. You can see how the chef prepares the dishes - admiration for the cleanliness in the kitchen. And the wonderful sweet girl from Morocco made our evening even more pleasant with a smile, perfect service and friendly attitude.

12/01/2026: Here, we came for the pasta. It was epic. Situated just near some of the main plaza and attractions is Kapunto. This is a modern restaurant I would say. I really liked the decor and all the cutlery and plate design. Very clean and great staff. There was a buzzing little atmosphere and the locals were chatting hard with staff which was great to see. I loved watching this. I found that the pasta course with some bread and a bottle of wine was a great meal - one would need to be hungry to manage two courses though I would say. The pasta here was just incredible and freshly made. You can see from the images how good this was made. The mushroom and tomatoe sauces we had were bith rich and flavourful. The wine was also a good choice. This is somewhere I would come back to if local and suggest travellers come and visit. Thank you for a great lunch.

23/02/2026: My partner and I, a chef and a gourmet, were visiting the village and stopped for lunch at this little restaurant in the historic center. At the suggestion of Stefano, the restaurant manager, we chose the daily menu, and had the pleasure of sampling authentic, down-to-earth, no-frills cuisine, yet beautifully presented, with the wonderful flavor of local ingredients. They produced their own cured meats and cheeses, a variety of fresh pasta made with local grains, including Senatore Cappelli, fantastic desserts, and much more, all at an excellent value. We'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: Sunday in February, the only restaurant open in Pietrapertosa. Luckily, we found the last free table. A €25 menu with a typical Lucanian appetizer, two first courses, and dessert. Exceptional dishes, local cured meats and cheeses, and homemade pasta. Friendly service. Best dish: a first course with crusco peppers, walnuts, and toasted bread, and a magnificent homemade pasta dish. Recommended.

10/02/2026: Returning after some time we found a renovation with renovation, and external expansion, the owner always kind, wood-fired oven pizza well leavened, friendly and helpful staff.

06/01/2026: We recently left the farmhouse....I think 5 stars are too few, they deserve 10!!! Mrs. Piera is an exceptional person in the way she carries out her work, attentive and available, she welcomes and meets all the needs of the customer with care and also her kind way of being makes her unique. Salvatore's cooking is excellent, he too is super attentive and very good... Exquisite cured meats and cheeses, like the jam of their production, the tomato puree... the first and second courses... truly everything is delicious! You experience a homely, relaxing atmosphere and then the place is surrounded by greenery, in true nature and the children have a wonderful experience. The rooms are welcoming and very clean... I could really go on forever because there are only positive words and thoughts. We will definitely be back, thanks Piera and greetings from Michele, Giulia and Leonardo

A further thank you to Piera for her advice and helpfulness, who went out of her way to accommodate our requests and needs. Warm regards also to the lovely "Befana," "Pipa," and everyone we met during this pleasant stay, which included excellent breakfasts and a New Year's Eve lunch featuring local, zero-mile products.
