05/05/2025: I went here for lunch on a Sunday with my girlfriend. Friendly staff, but, sorry to say, the quality of the food was quite low, even for us who usually adapt easily.

09/04/2025: A certainty in Campo di Giove. Kitchen open all day, staff courteous, informed and available to answer all our curiosities. Perhaps the place is a little dated but coherent and pleasant. Good food and great beers. Guinness properly pinned.

14/03/2025: Nothing to say, everything is very good but if the time is from 6am at least punctuality.....

07/02/2025: What happened to the renowned Caffè Venezia and its excellent reputation? It seems to have dissolved into thin air, leaving room for a mostly sad and deserted place. The atmosphere is dull, the staff appears tired and closer to retirement than to customer satisfaction. The products offered remain good, but what struck me most - unfortunately in a negative way - on the numerous occasions in which I found myself returning upon invitation was the deafening racket of the bartender every time he arranges cups and saucers between the counter and the dishwasher. A continuous, annoying and absolutely disrespectful noise towards customers. A real shame to see a place with so much history reduced like this.

14/04/2025: Ci sono luoghi che, più che semplici ristoranti, diventano esperienze da ricordare. Il Big Mama a Città Sant’Angelo è uno di questi. Siamo stati lì con i ragazzi della nostra struttura riabilitativa e non possiamo che portare nel cuore un ricordo meraviglioso. Sin dal nostro arrivo, ci siamo sentiti accolti con un calore raro. Il personale ha saputo unire professionalità, empatia e umanità in un modo che ha fatto davvero la differenza. I camerieri sono stati eccezionali: sorridenti, attenti, disponibili, e soprattutto straordinariamente delicati e rispettosi nei confronti dei nostri ragazzi. Mai un giudizio, mai una difficoltà, solo gentilezza autentica e la capacità di farci sentire tutti a nostro agio, come a casa. Abbiamo gustato piatti della tradizione abruzzese, cucinati con amore e passione. Dai primi piatti ricchi di sapore ai secondi gustosi, ogni portata ha raccontato una storia di genuinità. Ma, al di là del buon cibo, è stata l’atmosfera che ci ha conquistati: serena, accogliente, vera. Per i nostri ragazzi è stata una giornata importante. Si sono sentiti visti, accolti, rispettati. E questo non ha prezzo. Perché a volte, basta poco per fare tanto: uno sguardo, un sorriso, uno spazio dato senza fretta. Grazie Big Mama per averci regalato una giornata così speciale. Ci torneremo molto volentieri.

26/03/2025: Cena di sabato sera locale pieno e molto caotico per via della radio ad alto volume. Pizza buona ma servizio scarso: servito un antipasto "per ingannare l'attesa" non ordinato e poi in conto, una pizza ricevuta sbagliata e avendo preso anche arrosticini metà tavolo cenava con la pizza e l'altra metà in attesa della cena.

03/05/2025: Ieri sera 02/05/2025 io e mia moglie abbiamo cenato in questo locale sul mare, abbiamo mangiato 2 antipasti freddi ( non male ) una grigliatina mista, anche questa non male, un po' scarsina, ( pesce fresco ), una bella porzione di patate fritte. Infine abbiamo preso 2 sorbetti al gelato/limone con vodka ( molto validi ). Locale sul lungomare, pulito, luminoso e personale gentile.

01/05/2025: Embarrassing....we went today May 1st for lunch we ordered 2 complete cold and hot appetizers, spaghetti with clams for the little girl and then 2 risottos...we sat down at 1pm we received the first cold appetizer after 45 minutes, at 3pm we still hadn't received the other part of the appetizers....what's more they closed the service and couldn't even serve the risottos.....I strongly advise against it also considering the prices high......I had to give one star because I can't put less than this....Such a thing has never happened to me.....restaurant is something else........

10/09/2024: A simple restaurant where you immediately feel at home. Excellent dishes of the local peasant tradition, a special mention to the "appreciated sagne" with sauce, which in their simplicity and goodness always surprise; The baked lamb is also excellent. Honest prices. For those who are not in a hurry (in these parts it is a healthy rule...) it is worth taking a walk to visit the remains of the 2nd century Samnite sanctuary. BC, located a few hundred meters from the restaurant.

13/09/2024: We were in this place in August, we had seen it quickly during the evening walk and it gave us a good impression, we were perhaps one of the first groups (3 couples), but despite this, I have never seen 4 out of 6 cocktails served worse than the ones served. Mojito without cane sugar, very bitter and without the sweet part, pinacolada sent back because it was completely watered down and tasteless (it tasted like coconut milk), Kaipirissima where there was a lot of rum and stop, Maitai just passable and another simple school-based non-alcoholic cocktail. Maybe it was a bad evening but apart from the very nice venue and the good service, the €48 was the worst spent of the whole holiday. I hope it was an oversight but too many trivial errors. I noticed that others have also commented negatively on the establishment, and for the bar the owner tries to respond on the web (even to myself) trying to make people look like they are incompetent, but at 56 years old, my dear, I don't need any vent on the web, I say what I think, money is earned and therefore when you spend it badly and you have no services it is right to complain and judge. Contrary to what the owner replied, we took two of the cocktails back to the bar to have them tasted and they were barely smelt (even smelled as if taste lies in smell), but they didn't make them again from scratch as I think you should do when you make a mistake, they just rolled them up and had them brought back with an even worse result. Not to exaggerate, the other two people drank them even though they were far from good and they didn't let me take them back otherwise I would have done so. I can say that in three years we have been to the Lighthouse at least 7/8 times without ever having anything to say, only that they are better.

28/04/2025: Eravamo di passaggio direzione sud e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzare in questa trattoria... Il locale era umile ma pulito e ordinato...il personale era cortese e gentile e molto ospitale.....abbiamo preso 4 primi e un secondo per non appesantirci troppo ma posso dirvi che era tutto squisitissimo...ci ritorneremo sicuramente consiglio vivamente

19/04/2025: Sono stato a pranzo alla Fattoria della Nonna dopo avere visto il video su YouTube di Francesco, di cui stimo e seguo il lavoro. Ho fatto una sosta durante un viaggio un po’ lungo da Milano al Salento, ma sono rimasto molto deluso. Unica nota positiva una cameriera gentilissima dai capelli biondi che io e mia moglie salutiamo ancora tantissimo. Racconto la mia esperienza: posizione strategica a 2 passi dal casello, parcheggio immenso in grado di ospitare anche numerosi tir. L’accoglienza è stata affettuosa e veloce. Al tavolo non c’è il menù e quindi non è dato sapere il prezzo delle portate, che infine scopriremo non essere propriamente attagliato ad una trattoria per camionisti dalla location molto semplice. Ci viene chiesto solo se vogliamo pesce o carne ed allora mia moglie prende un antipasto di mare freddo e mezze maniche allo scoglio, io antipasto della nonna e chitarra al ragù. Nell’antipasto di mia moglie era presente, tra le altre cose, un pezzo di tonno in scatola (il piatto costa 12 euro…). Insomma, abbiamo pranzato ma l’esperienza non è da ripetere. Inoltre bevendo solo acqua liscia (considerato che dovevo guidare) abbiamo speso ben 46,50 (che comprendono anche 2 caffè). I prezzi li abbiamo scoperti solo al momento di pagare, perché il listino è affisso vicino alla cassa. Mi spiace non premiare la cortesia del personale ma non siamo rimasti contenti del cibo.

19/05/2025: Locale carino, abbiamo mangiato due primi, una tagliata e 10 arrosticini con due calici di vino rosso al prezzo di 81,50. Un po’ più del normale ma il cibo era buono e i primi erano con funghi e tartufo.

01/05/2025: Per onestà ammetto che avrei voluto dare 2,5 come punteggio ma l’applicazione non lo permette. Il luogo è abbastanza accoglievole e casereccio, il servizio gentile anche se un po’ lento nella ricezione della comanda, ma veloce nella consegna dei piatti. La mia pasta coi funghi mi ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare, ma altri piatti che avevamo ordinato non erano male, nel complesso una cucina che non va oltre la media però. Il conto non risulta né basso né esageratamente alto.

03/05/2025: Never again! we ate here because we were guests of the hotel and we couldn't find anything else in the village There were 5 tables in total for dinner, more than an hour to bring a plate of little guitars that were nothing to say good and a rotten salad with literally insects inside. It was taken from the garden without washing it or looking at it. Unacceptable. And the price is not too cheap.

01/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato la Pizza, ed era buona, abbiamo preso delle frittelle e con prosciutto, eravamo tre e ne abbiamo ordinate per tre, ne hanno portate per 4 porzioni e le hanno fatte pagare, tipico esempio di chi sbaglia non paga. Altro grande problema un solo cameriere che si occupa anche del bancone del bar. Credo si debba migliorare su diversi fronti.

20/08/2024: prenotazione eliminata dal locale stesso poco prima dell'orario indicato senza scusarsi e senza fornire la minima motivazione...se non si e' in grado di gestire le piattaforme non si dovrebbe iscriversi

12/08/2024: Prezzi alti e cibo...... Ordinato 1 tagliere misto, bruschette e nr. 5 pinse. Io penso che sia stato tutto una presa in giro. Bruschette con pane vecchio e non abbrustolito e l'olio forse dovevamo portarcelo da casa. Pinse probabilmente surgelate visto che l'impasto si apriva in due ed era di una gommosità esagerata....Condire al momento con prodotti davvero scadenti. Unica cosa che si salvava forse era il tagliere per 2 persone, forse perché non c era molto da fare per prepararlo. Praticamente le pinse erano delle focaccine con condimento "a crudo" posto sopra, non margherita, non mozzarella fusa. A me dispiace lasciare questa recensione, ma non si può servire da mangiare in questo modo. Forse il locale è più adatto per bere e non per mangiare. I tavoli sono stretti e le sedie scomode.

29/03/2025: TRULY handmade gnocchi, excellent and very abundant!!!! Choice of vegetables that are not the usual (out of season) grilled vegetables. Good girls, friendly and very very smart!!!!! VERY GOOD!!!!

31/08/2024: I would like to immediately say that the owner was really grumpy... we were four people on the evening of Sant'Egidio. Tables all full. We arrived and immediately saw that two people had just finished dinner, while two others were eating at a four-person table. We kindly asked if we could attach the two tables, but we were denied because the couple was still having dinner... I don't understand what the problem was. I can understand that we were standing there waiting, but given the turnout it was to their advantage to seat us I think. We were really disappointed, especially for the owner.

26/09/2024: We carried out an inspection in view of a self-managed parish school camp. The rooms are spacious, the environment is clean and well kept, the kitchen has some flaws (kettles and dishwashers not working), the outdoor spaces are satisfactory, the view is quite beautiful.

11/08/2024: A hotel used for the school camp. Excellent kitchen and dining room. Very green and above all a beautiful coolness in the morning and evening. We had a good time.
