25/11/2024: Io e la mia famiglia eravamo diretti a Teramo quando, a metà strada, abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzo in qualche ristorante del teramano. Non conoscendo la zona, per scegliere ci siamo affidati a tripadvisor. Da subito mi avevano colpito le ottime recensioni offerte da altri avventori al ristorante “la tacchinella” e quindi abbiamo intrapreso la strada collinare per Canzano, una deliziosa cittadina dal carattere medievale. La location, situata proprio all’ingresso del centro storico, ricorda una cantina in pietra e la saletta dove eravamo accomodati era tranquilla e riservata. Il cibo é eccezionale: abbiamo preso fettuccine con funghi e tartufi; due grigliate miste e mezzo chilo di tagliata di manzo di una qualità superba. Un grazie particolare ai ragazzi che ci hanno servito, cioè Davide, Francesca e Antonietta che sono stati molto disponibili, competenti ed educati. Il conto, per rapporto qualità-prezzo, é stato più che giusto, avendo noi pagato 35 euro a testa avendo mangiato due antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi e 2 dolci il tutto superbo. Consiglio vivamente questo locale,che può insegnare molto agli altri come fare buona ristorazione.

28/09/2024: Good, but… Our experience with Materia Prima begins with the booking phone call; in which we anticipated that we would have a small dog with us and their response was to clarify their position and that is: in the event that the dog had not behaved appropriately they would have felt authorized to interrupt our stay on site and therefore dinner. In any case, we decide to go to dinner, certain that our dog's behavior could be up to par in any restaurant. At the entrance we were greeted with great courtesy by the dining room staff, who brought us the menu; which includes two tasting menus, however the dishes they include are not specified, but simply the number of courses. At this point, our thought was that of free choice of dishes, obviously when we proposed our idea of ​​a tasting experience to the dining room staff it was fully accepted but with some supplements, clearly they had an organizational imprint different from that of us proposal. We asked ourselves, why not make the tasting proposal explicit? Or simply explain which dishes you can choose from? The dishes served were excellent, a great experience. Perhaps I would improve the desserts, which despite being part of the non-pre-packaged tasting menu, we did not have the freedom to choose. The staff very professional, impeccable. The environment is very modern, with attention to detail. If I had to say that I felt at ease and welcomed, I wouldn't say it, I almost had the impression of having to be on the alert, probably also dictated by our prejudice regarding dog management.

29/09/2024: Small restaurant in the center of Cupello with few seats that can guarantee impeccable service and refined and tasty cuisine. Marcello knows his stuff, he represents the innkeeper to perfection, with sympathy and competence. We had dinner here for two evenings during our stay in Vasto and we particularly appreciated the grilled lamb, the selection of local cured meats and cheeses, and the suckling pig cooked at low temperatures. In short, if you are in the area it is an obligatory stop, even for fans of spontaneously fermented artisanal wines.

07/12/2024: Locale piccolo ma caldo e accogliente pietanze della vera tradizione teramana, cucinate in modo semplice e gustoso, con ingredienti di qualità! Porzioni abbondanti e prezzo più che accettabile! consiglio chitarrina con polpettine e gnocchi con sugo di castrato, spezzatino con patate! Marcello padrone di casa eccellente, un vero oste d'altri tempi, cordiale e simpatico. Per un pranzo completo (antipasto primo secondo dolce acqua e vino ) di qualità 25€ a persona sono davvero un prezzo ottimo! lo consiglio vivamente

02/11/2024: Se si va a Santo Stefano di Sessanio non si può non andare da Andrea e Barbara, un locale delizioso con solo 4 tavoli in cui si respira aria di casa. Cucina della tradizione, piatti semplici ma davvero ottimi (la quinoa con l'ortica pazzesca!) e soprattutto Andrea è un meraviglioso padrone di casa, ti fa sentire coccolata e servita ad ogni portata. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo vino rosso di Montepulciano. Davvero una piacevole scoperta!

15/12/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato il diciottesimo di mia figlia. Il locale ha un allestimento molto bello ed elegante. Il cibo ottimo, il servizio ai tavoli eccellente, i camerieri e il proprietario gentilissimi e disponibili.

17/09/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato la cresima di nostra figlia di domenica a pranzo in contemporanea a 2 nozze d'oro ed una comunione. Nonostante il notevole afflusso di ospiti presenti nella struttura, è andato tutto per il meglio, dalle portate, ottime, che hanno soddisfatto tutti i commensali, al servizio, puntuale, cortese e veloce. Bello l'allestimento della sala. Ottimi gli antipasti sia freddi che caldi, spettacolare la pasta (strettine ai frutti di mare), buoni i secondi e squisita la torta. Veramente nulla da eccepire.
