17/02/2026: We've been going to this sushi bar for years, even before they introduced the all-you-can-eat option. Over time, the service has become a bit chaotic, but the quality of the dishes is better than other highly rated all-you-can-eat restaurants in Catania. For me, it's still a good place for a lunch break or a group dinner. The service flaws are more than made up for by the products. The fish is tough, and the rice is just cooked to perfection, but cold (I recently ate at another all-you-can-eat restaurant nearby, where they served me soft fish and warm rice). Still a solid 8 out of 10.

Excellent experiments in fusion cuisine between the East and Japan. The summer location in Torre Faro is fantastic, but the winter location in the city center also has a pleasant atmosphere.

08/02/2026: the service is kind and they listen to requests and bring things very quickly the quality of the sushi is very good and the same goes for the cooked things they have always been 5 stars for me but today I have to give them 3 because the service is slow we arrived around 1.30pm and still half of the sushi has not arrived but I hope it is only for today

15/02/2026: I've been a customer for several years, and Agua Loca remains one of my favorites: the quality of the food, the location, and the service are truly fantastic. However, I was very disappointed with my last takeout order, where the portions of sashimi and tartare were significantly smaller than my previous orders... and considering the prices, it doesn't really offer the right quality-price ratio.

12/04/2026: The place certainly isn't the most beautiful, but it certainly has the characteristics of a fast food restaurant. On the other hand, the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. The sushi a la carte is delicious, as is the Florentine steak. The mixed grilled fish deserves a special mention. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: I was invited to dinner at this place by friends, and it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant presents itself as an all-you-can-eat buffet, but the selection is very limited and lacking in variety. Furthermore, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired: the dishes are bland. Considering the price, which is definitely too high for what's offered, it's definitely not worth the expense. I don't recommend it...

30/03/2026: I can't give it a good review because I don't think it's suitable for sushi. If we were to call it an ASIAN restaurant, then it's fine. The sushi isn't very good due to the limited variety they offer. The only positive aspect is the buffet menu. I must say the buffet menu has a wide variety. The staff is helpful.

23/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place based on the more or less positive reviews. First of all, I booked, mainly because I knew from their website and online that they had hookah. I arrived and was told it wasn't available. I should have at least let them know. Anyway, we sat down and they pushed us to order the all-you-can-eat option, but in the meantime, we decided to try the sushi. The prices were really high, but anyway, we ordered a few pieces of sushi from the menu. As soon as they put the tuna sashimi on the table, it looked normal in color. As soon as I took the first piece and put it in my mouth, I immediately noticed the unpleasant fishy odor. Nauseous. I won't even tell you about the taste, it was awful. The most disgusting sushi I've ever eaten (and they just put it on the menu, and I don't even mention the prices because they're so exorbitant). I wouldn't have given it a cent! We ate with hesitation about the quality of the fish, and I'm of the opinion that sushi should be treated with care, as you don't mess with raw fish! We ate these raw pieces of sushi, almost having to force ourselves to eat them, because it was like eating spoiled fish. It was definitely a result of improper freezing and terrible preservation in the July heat. We ate, hesitant, thinking something might happen, and it did. In the evening, we went home and I felt terrible! It wasn't even Saturday, and there was no one there! Weekdays are usually when they take more care of the food and the customers, as there's less commotion. The food was poor, extremely low quality; I even felt sick! Who knows how it could have ended! No, no, no! And then the value for money was completely outrageous. I've eaten quality sushi at quality places for much less... It's a shame because it could have been a nice place and made a good profit. The waiters were a bit rude, and after we finished the sushi without asking for anything, they brought us the bill without asking, almost as if they were kicking us out. Bah!

20/07/2025: The thing I'll definitely remember about this place is the utter rudeness and listlessness of the young man who greeted us. When it was time to order, he seemed indisposed and rolled his eyes at every request we made, including mentioning a food allergy to strawberries. His attitude was one of utter annoyance and condescension. Fortunately, he was replaced by a young woman later in the evening. It's a shame because the sushi was decent. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs, considering my husband had a twinge shortly afterward.

04/05/2026: The best sushi on the Riviera in my opinion. I tried all the competitors before writing this review, but I have to say it's unrivaled. Good sushi and friendly staff.

04/04/2026: I went to this restaurant tonight with three other people, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. When ordering, we were informed that we couldn't choose Venere rice, which we found limiting, especially since it was a Saturday night. We arrived at 9:30 PM and didn't receive our poke until 10:15 PM, so we had a rather long wait. One of the poke, ordered with a double protein option (which cost more), arrived with only one protein option: the shrimp tempura was missing. After pointing this out, the dish was taken back and returned with only one shrimp added, a decidedly insufficient amount considering the extra charge. Another poke, however, was completely missing the mango. As for the sushi box, a few pieces were brought to us after a further wait, and only then were we informed that the tuna wasn't available and they had to change the order. We also didn't like the sushi: it was too heavy, the rice was sticky, and the portions were unbalanced, with too much rice and too little seasoning. Overall, between the disorganization, long waits, and subpar quality, it was a negative experience. We won't be returning.

17/04/2026: This is turning into an almost literary-philosophical treatise on a gastronomic drama. I feel sorry for the service staff: young, untrained, left to their own devices in their ignorance—not unfriendly or malicious, but fatally uninformed about even the most basic rules of their industry. The Google rating system seems like a ridiculous farce. When I think of all the outstanding restaurants that truly deserve five stars—it's a slap in the face. It's become a meaningless world where everything is fake. Everything about this place was disappointing. The interior has all the charm of an IKEA store. Huge, practically empty. At reception stood a guy with the charisma of a dying houseplant, staring nonstop at his phone. I ordered a beer and went to the restroom. The whole place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in two weeks. Next to it was raw fish in the display case. I'll spare you the rest of that corner—it's unworthy of a Japanese restaurant. When I returned: a closed beer bottle on the table. Five employees, the same number as guests. No one was reachable. Three were gossiping in the back, one was staring at his phone, and a manager was busy with paperwork. Eventually, I shouted for help—he came over in a terrible mood, opened the bottle, and disappeared. The sashimi arrived after about 1.5 minutes. No wasabi, no ginger—just the most generic soy sauce in the world. I had to order wasabi separately. A minute later: four varieties of elaborate maki rolls. Made in fast-forward mode? Ready since yesterday? They were suspiciously stuck together and didn't taste fresh—I'd venture to say they weren't freshly rolled. Last came the miso soup. The easiest thing comes last. Strange. Three servers then stood exactly one meter away from my table and gossiped loudly. Every plate from which I took the last piece was snatched away before I could even chew. One of the three was sneezing nonstop into the air – the others carried sushi through his cloud of germs to a table with children. It's great that we've put Covid behind us – but service staff sneezing their way through a restaurant, holding their noses with their bare hands? In a restaurant? The others were also constantly touching their faces. A hygienic nightmare. It's enough to make you depressed. This culturally rich Palermo – and this grotesquely cultureless place.

15/03/2026: Unqualified staff, dressed as if they were ordinary people, would walk by and throw your plate on the table. Filth everywhere, dirty chairs, an unsightly table. The food was 50/50. Too much confusion, extremely rude people. We paid €36.80 each, too much for all this. Negative feedback. 👎🏼

04/05/2026: Very dirty! The tables, chairs, and floors are all clean; there is a cleaning staff. The cups and spoons have not been washed properly. I'm worried about contracting some contagious disease. I should call the NAS/ASL to have the situation checked out.
