13/10/2025: Good sushi, but some significant weaknesses in the rest We visited the restaurant with our children and wanted to try a variety of dishes. The sushi was really good – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A huge compliment to that! The service was also very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the rest of the offerings were disappointing: The Phad Thai unfortunately bore no resemblance to the original, and more than half of the alternative sushi dishes weren't available at all. That was a shame, especially when you're there with children and looking for something different. The drink selection was also very limited – there were only Coke and water as non-alcoholic options. A wider selection (e.g., juices, iced tea, or spritzers) would have been really welcome. Conclusion: If you want to eat good sushi, this is the place for you. Everything else needs to be urgently reworked – or the restaurant should focus entirely on what it does best: sushi.

26/08/2025: We've been frequenting Sakura restaurant in Modica for a good 5 years, and we've become regulars... once or twice a week, and it's never disappointed. It's a family-run business, and you can immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere: they make you feel at home every time. The sushi is always fresh and carefully prepared, in our opinion the best in the Ragusa province. At lunchtime, the selection is a bit more limited, but at dinner, the menu is much richer and more varied. A must-visit for those seeking quality, friendliness, and authenticity. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: The service was awful, the wait was incredibly long, and almost no waiter spoke Italian. Management must have changed, because it's never been this bad in any way... I wouldn't be surprised if it closed soon.

03/01/2026: We arrived around 8:40 PM. After a long time, they only brought us fries and fried chicken. Then they got one dish wrong and served us shrimp uramaki, even though I have an allergy. After trying them, I seriously risked anaphylactic shock: a very serious situation that demonstrates a complete lack of attention to allergies. In the meantime, we had ordered about 20 dishes, but almost nothing ever arrived. We called at least three waiters, who unfortunately didn't speak Italian, making it impossible to communicate properly. We were reassured several times, but to no avail. At 10:15 PM, tired and disappointed, seeing that only the wrong dishes continued to arrive, we decided to leave. I left €25 on the table to cover water, Coke, the service charge, and the few dishes that actually arrived (ravioli, fries, fried chicken, and salmon uramaki). When we left, everyone noticed us, and a waiter chased us outside, demanding we go back inside to speak to the owners. When I refused, one guy even suggested taking the license plate, a truly unpleasant episode. A nightmare evening, total disorganization, and, worst of all, no safety measures for those with allergies. I will never return and I strongly advise against the place.

22/11/2025: The table service outside could be a bit better; we had to wait quite a while for our menus to be handed out and our order to be taken. Nonetheless, the sushi here is the tastiest in the city. The quality and combinations are refined and elegant; the eel was exceptional. It's definitely high-end sushi, which is reflected in the prices, but you know, quality comes at a price, and you need a treat every now and then!

13/09/2025: Asian restaurant with a view of Cefalù Cathedral, friendly staff, excellent service, and delicious food. It's not your typical all-you-can-eat restaurant; the menu is à la carte, and the dishes are well-prepared.

Thanks to Marco Larosa, last night my husband and I spent a wonderful evening in a very evocative location, with excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by expert hands. You're wondering where? All this at the Naka Restaurant, drinks & sushi with Mediterranean cuisine, right at the foot of Her Majesty the Cathedral. You can dine both inside and outside: we opted for the outside. The place is truly refined, very elegant. The table setting is very minimal, but with very refined touches, from the lamp to the metal chopsticks. Not to mention the real gem that really makes a difference these days...the champagne served in its 1920s-style glass. Truly remarkable!! (Enough with champagne served in a Prosecco flute... here at Naka, class is not water 😉.) Let's get to the food: the menu is well-described, divided into two lists for sushi and Mediterranean dishes. We opted for sushi; I don't remember the names of the dishes, but with sea urchins, Mazzara red shrimp, truffle, tuna, salmon...seaweed, and the excellent rice, it was a true taste experience, and each piece was an explosion of distinct flavors that blended divinely. In short, Naka confirms itself as a top place to return to again and again with great pleasure and the certainty of not being disappointed. 02/10/2025: A place like few others these days. Clean, reliable, punctual, and friendly. Agua Loca is one of the best I've tried so far. I ordered some poke to go. I must say that their willingness to deliver to two different cities had already convinced me to stay a customer, but considering how delicious they are... I'd say even better! The staff is incredibly kind, especially the cashier, Ms. Sara, who is incredibly kind, friendly, and humble. She helped me a lot in placing an order of 5 poke without ever losing her temper. She's a girl worth getting to know personally and wishing him the best in life.

23/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place based on the more or less positive reviews. First of all, I booked, mainly because I knew from their website and online that they had hookah. I arrived and was told it wasn't available. I should have at least let them know. Anyway, we sat down and they pushed us to order the all-you-can-eat option, but in the meantime, we decided to try the sushi. The prices were really high, but anyway, we ordered a few pieces of sushi from the menu. As soon as they put the tuna sashimi on the table, it looked normal in color. As soon as I took the first piece and put it in my mouth, I immediately noticed the unpleasant fishy odor. Nauseous. I won't even tell you about the taste, it was awful. The most disgusting sushi I've ever eaten (and they just put it on the menu, and I don't even mention the prices because they're so exorbitant). I wouldn't have given it a cent! We ate with hesitation about the quality of the fish, and I'm of the opinion that sushi should be treated with care, as you don't mess with raw fish! We ate these raw pieces of sushi, almost having to force ourselves to eat them, because it was like eating spoiled fish. It was definitely a result of improper freezing and terrible preservation in the July heat. We ate, hesitant, thinking something might happen, and it did. In the evening, we went home and I felt terrible! It wasn't even Saturday, and there was no one there! Weekdays are usually when they take more care of the food and the customers, as there's less commotion. The food was poor, extremely low quality; I even felt sick! Who knows how it could have ended! No, no, no! And then the value for money was completely outrageous. I've eaten quality sushi at quality places for much less... It's a shame because it could have been a nice place and made a good profit. The waiters were a bit rude, and after we finished the sushi without asking for anything, they brought us the bill without asking, almost as if they were kicking us out. Bah!

20/07/2025: The thing I'll definitely remember about this place is the utter rudeness and listlessness of the young man who greeted us. When it was time to order, he seemed indisposed and rolled his eyes at every request we made, including mentioning a food allergy to strawberries. His attitude was one of utter annoyance and condescension. Fortunately, he was replaced by a young woman later in the evening. It's a shame because the sushi was decent. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs, considering my husband had a twinge shortly afterward.

15/01/2026: I visited this place yesterday and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of disinfectant, which immediately raised my suspicions. The sushi was flavorless: the salmon was bland, the fish roe was indistinct, and even the Pringles tacos (which usually have a strong flavor) were bland. The overall quality seems low. I won't be returning; there are much better options in Palermo.

11/01/2026: I've been there twice: this week and last summer. Last time, the fish was good, but some pieces were greasy and hard to chew. However, I tried the chicken bao and it was very good. There was a strong smell of disinfectant. This time, however, the smell was milder, but still present. I'm not a fan of raw fish, but the first thing I tried was a nigiri. It tasted like cheese, as if a spoonful of Parmesan had fallen under the fish. Honestly, I didn't want to try anything else (raw), but there were about ten of us. I was the only one who noticed this problem (and my boyfriend too when I pointed it out to him), and everyone ate a lot. And we're all alive, for now. So, I don't know.

19/06/2025: Leaving aside the failure to deliver a maki, after spending 150 euros I find myself receiving a hot product that does not respect the "cold chain" (which is not appropriate for a delicate dish like sushi). As you can see from the photos, the fish looks ugly, has a dubious consistency - an appearance that makes you think of a spoiled product - and above all has a highly unpleasant flavor. I hope it was an unfortunate exception, but I doubt it. PS: The delicacy in the delivery is remarkable: the soy sauce was inside a plastic cup covered with transparent film and the entire order was served in two makeshift plastic bags.
