10/10/2025: Hi, first of all, the owner was so kind on the phone, so I didn't think twice and went to the restaurant with my children. A very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and truly excellent food. The final bill was also reasonable. I highly recommend it for the next time. P.S. It's a shame I don't live in Salento, but I'd definitely go there more often.

04/09/2025: We were very disappointed with our experience. We chose the "Tasting Menu." We found the dishes to be unrefined and lacking in balance. The server was completely disengaged. We bitterly regret having spent money on this meal. There were hardly any customers, so the atmosphere was not very pleasant.

29/09/2025: Great place, and the food too. I have a lot to complain about the delivery. Ordered for delivery at 9/9:30 PM. Huge delay, over 50 minutes, and they don't answer the phone despite numerous calls. I'll add to my previous review that the poke ordered two weeks later, for €15, was nothing but white rice and edamame. Meager, to say the least.

06/09/2025: Overall, a very positive experience. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent: dishes are meticulously prepared, elegantly presented, and flavorful. The location is charming, modern, and welcoming, and the service was attentive and professional, contributing to a pleasant evening. That said, there are some areas for improvement: the prices, while understandable for the restaurant's quality, are slightly above the market average. In particular, the wine list features local labels that retail for €10-12, but are offered for €28. A markup for table service is understandable, but it seems a bit excessive. One final note concerns the exhaust ventilation: with an open kitchen, we left the restaurant smelling of fried food at the end of the meal. An improved exhaust ventilation system would make the experience even more enjoyable. Despite these issues, the restaurant definitely deserves a second visit: I will gladly return to try other dishes.

03/10/2025: A la carte sushi in Bari. A very nice place that clearly stands out from the competition. A large number of chefs and waiters make the service quite fast. Despite the large availability of tables, it is best to reserve. The quality of the dishes is unquestionable... you can taste all the ingredients that go into the dish. The rice that makes up the rolls arrives still warm, a sign that the product has just been prepared. Very satisfied, the thing that won me over most was the salmon sashimi, it melted in my mouth, the quality of the fish superior to all other restaurants. The rolls are very unique and fusion.

01/10/2025: I was so engrossed in sampling every delicacy that was brought to me that I forgot to photograph several dishes. What can I say... Matsu is an institution when it comes to Sushi with a capital S. The freshest products are artfully served by courteous and helpful staff. A true sensory journey. The magnificent aperitifs are a must-try, graceful not only in flavor but also in aromas and scents. Book yourself a taste journey and you won't regret it... P.S. I'll be back to document Matsu's magnificent dishes with better photos.

17/10/2025: We enjoyed a light-hearted and fun evening thanks to the entertainment provided by "Il Cervello," a game suitable for all ages. The venue is modern, the service is fast and attentive to customer needs, and we were always served with a smile. The food was delicious and high-quality, as was the wine list. The sashimi, tartare, and tempura were delicious! A memorable evening of flavor and lightheartedness!

28/09/2025: SPECTACULAR sushi in Brindisi! Fantastic! Super fresh fish, meticulous presentation, and truly thoughtful and interesting flavors. You can choose from a variety of combinations (making the menu accessible to vegans, too). Their Gunkan are a must-try: an explosion of flavor. It was wonderful to watch them prepare, but even better to eat them! Fausto and Pamela are the heart of this place: kind, passionate, and always eager to make every customer feel at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of passion into it. I'll definitely be back!

11/08/2025: Had an absoutley lovely dinner. So welcoming and accomadating. Wondeful fresh sushi, made with excellent ingredients. The vegan sushi was carefully made with clear passion and quality and not just a filler on the menu. Highly recommend the super spicy sriracha for spice lovers. Very tasty stuff. Also their home made ginger liqueur was delicious. Such lovely people. 🥳🥳🥳

07/10/2025: Everything was superb, from the food to the staff, to the softly lit dining room atmosphere. Carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients (and you can taste it). The chicken is delicious, the gunkan are amazing, I can't decide which I liked best. The best Japanese food I've ever had. Compliments to all the staff and the kitchen. We'll be back as soon as possible. 🫶🏻

11/09/2025: A virtually unique offering in Lecce and the surrounding area, in a spacious and tasteful location. The raw fish huramaki are excellent, the cooked fish one, unexpectedly, even better. The glazed duck (a slice, really, just right for one, impossible to share) is formidable. The tuna sashimi is fresh and tasty. The spaghetti and noodles are excellent, the vegetable ones are excellent, and the chicken ones are also quite good. It's a wise choice to include Susumaniello on the wine list, produced by several wineries and in a diverse range. The wait staff was extremely courteous and helpful, which more than made up for the hour-long wait between appetizers and first and second courses, for a reason we weren't entirely convinced by, and which wasn't taken into account at the register. The prices were considered fair. Definitely worth a try.

05/10/2025: Loved the food and presentation. Good quality for the value. Our compliments. Tv is on very loud with noisy and way too loud clips and this makes no sense at all. We are customers and here for the food and atmosphere. Many menu choices available. As far as hospitality is concerned: one very friendly and extremely aware of how to treat you customers worker, who also is there for the cash register, stands out. The rest of the staff obviously had no interest in their customers. A big contrast. But we will be back again and hope for positive improvements. This will surely be the case.

28/09/2025: I booked a table for two on Google a couple of hours in advance on a Saturday evening, and it was truly exceptional. All-you-can-eat dinner for €26.90 each. The staff are friendly, quick, and welcoming. The portions are small; there are four rolls per tray. I don't see this as a weakness because it reduces waste and allows you to try more. They sat us at a table under a (fake) cherry tree in bloom, which was really cute. The restaurant is next to the Petruzzelli Theater.
