04/07/2026: Very nice neighborhood Sushi restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly service. Some English is spoken. They have a very upscale presentation style which is appreciated. Outdoor seating is available as well. We arrived early without reservations but did get seated. Might be a good idea to call ahead if you plan on going later in the dinner service. Fair prices on wine and drinks. Will definitely return.

Then I clicked on gluten among the allergens, and the tablet showed me the dishes with and without allergens. It's a shame that the allergen-free ones had sauces and tempura. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was treated rudely, and the girl wanted to be right and snorted. In short, personal taste is one thing, but when it comes to whether or not you feel sick, maybe you shouldn't take things lightly. Let's hope I don't feel sick. Not recommended.

We ordered two takeout bento boxes: one with fried shrimp, the other with fried chicken, and a portion of takoyaki. The food was awful; the fried food was so greasy it made us feel sick all night. All this for a total of €45, without drinks. Definitely avoid.

16/06/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at Homu. I booked online, specifying from the start that we would be bringing a stroller. My reservation was then canceled, with the justification being that the restaurant was "too small" to accommodate a stroller. However, having been there before, I know this is false: the establishment is not so small as to be unable to accommodate a stroller. I find this attitude truly shameful and unwelcoming towards families with babies. Canceling a reservation for this reason gives a very bad impression of the restaurant and clearly shows a lack of consideration for its customers. We will never set foot in this place again.
