15/02/2025: A la carte sushi (and more!) with attention to detail, spatial quality, all accompanied by truly exquisite Japanese beers. We will definitely be back!

15/02/2025: Very intimate place, exceptional dishes, super and very helpful staff. A la carte menu but super accessible. One of the few quality restaurants. The wine menu is also excellent.

07/02/2025: All You can eat!! Fresh fish, impeccable staff and a place to behold! This is the Umi sushi mix. They didn't mind that we arrived 15 minutes late, obviously we apologised, the QRcode that identifies the table not only saves unnecessary paper for the menus but allows all diners to order at the same time, giving the possibility of seeing what everyone has ordered and in what quantity! Perhaps the best sushi place of this kind I've ever tried. Congratulations to the owners and staff!

03/03/2025: We enjoyed a post-Opera dinner here and would gladly return 👌 The concept of Italian / Sushi is pretty original. I had the 5 course sushi menu and sir had the 5 course fish menu. We accompanied with a bottle of Nebbiolo and cocktails. Besides dishes coming out at different times, it was fresh and delicious and for the location, the price can’t be beat. It’s a perfect follow-up to an opera, highly recommended!

16/02/2025: Unfortunately a negative experience, never order the cake from them because in addition to not being good, the fork got stuck in the cake and I pulled up the whole piece because it wouldn't come off, I paid 80 euros for 2 kilos (a steal for that cake) when I had asked for 1 kilo and 200 grams, so they take the liberty of choosing how many kilos of cake but above all how much to charge!!!

24/03/2025: I have eaten at this typical Japanese restaurant several times and also ordered home delivery, everything is always delicious. I almost always order the katsu curry, but when I happen to eat there I always ask the staff to recommend something different and I am never disappointed. In addition, there is the open kitchen which is always well appreciated.

23/02/2025: Disappointed by expectations... recommended by my sister, we went here with high expectations also considering the fact that we eat à la carte... Many dishes do not differ from the all-you-can-eat restaurants we have tried in the past, where we have decided not to go any more years ago due to widespread poor quality. All the Uramaki with sticky rice and gummy seaweed in most of those eaten taste acceptable for this reason I don't go below 3 stars even if from the consistency they seemed almost not made on the spot. Mixed sashimi, tuna seemed to be of good quality even if cut too often, terrible salmon of very low quality with more than evident streaks of fat far from the standards we are used to with à la carte sushi, good scallop cut well and average sea bass also cut well. Average Nighiri didn't drive me crazy, acceptable in taste but in shape I can't say the same, rice balls too small and not tied well with the fish so much so that they always separated from each other not having enough rice to bind to, fish placed on top not cut to perfection. The only positive note is the prawns in ketaifi paste, which are good although I doubt that it is a frozen product and not freshly prepared as the prawn has a particular shape which is very thin and long, a little unusual but still very good. In general, a restaurant that I would not recommend. There are other à la carte sushi that have higher quality with similar prices.

23/02/2025: Disappointed by expectations. It looks like a classic all you can eat, not an à la carte restaurant. Chewy uramaki, sashimi too thick with very fatty salmon, nigiri nothing special, tempura seems frozen because I have never seen such long and narrow prawns. I give 3 stars only for the friendly staff but I don't recommend it for the food, there are much better à la carte restaurants

09/02/2025: A mediocre neighborhood sushi, little choice for lunch and lots (too much) rice.

11/03/2025: They made us sit down and told us that we could only stay for 30 minutes (it was 6pm) at the table due to a reservation. After ordering at 6.10pm we waited 16 minutes for what we had ordered and while we were finishing the cake we were asked to get up because the other customers would be arriving in a few minutes. So we rushed to finish everything, but as I was about to finish my drink it was taken away from me and the table was vacated. We were very disappointed because the place is nice, but we advise the staff that, in case the preparations are so laborious (16 min), to inform the customer that it is not possible to consume in 30 min and it would be better to invite him for another time more calmly. Furthermore, although the next customers had not yet arrived, waiting or asking if we could take away what had not yet been finished would have been appreciated. We wanted to write this review only because we were sorry, the drinks weren't bad and we liked the cake (even if the prices were a little high), it's just that the service left something to be desired.
