09/03/2026: We had lunch at Fuji again after several years, noting a significant improvement compared to our previous experience: the restaurant has been renovated, orders are now taken via tablet, the management has changed, and probably the chef as well, as the dishes are much more carefully prepared and decidedly less greasy. The offerings, being an all-you-can-eat restaurant, are always very varied and numerous: in addition to Japanese dishes, a good portion of the menu is Chinese (like the owners) and Thai, with the addition of the current trend: poke. Despite this, the quality of the food is surprising for the price, and this applies to all the dishes: the sushi is freshly made, the fish is fresh, and the rice is warm (as it should be), and it's served in much smaller portions than before; the dumplings are delicious and soft, among the best I've ever had at similar restaurants; the noodles are simple and tasty, not overcooked or drowned in sauce. The biggest flaw lies in the service. A long time can pass between courses, though this could be more of a strategy than simple disorganization: from the first order to the end of the meal, an hour and a half passed. However, I prefer this timing to having all the dishes delivered at once, which then promptly get cold (or perhaps even prepared ahead of time). The waitress isn't rude, but she could speak and smile more, while the very young Indian man was completely unprepared: he seemed to be moving around in a deferred manner, barely opening his mouth, and not clearing away the empty plates. It was clear he didn't feel like doing anything; I don't know why he was there, and maybe not even him. Even the tablet's lock screen was disturbing... The welcome was adequate (even though we didn't have a reservation, at 1 pm on Sunday the owner sat us down right away). The key to dining here is not to rush... and not to expect receipts! Despite a few minor details, we're happy with the improvement and will definitely be back.

08/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Restaurant in Castel San Giovanni, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant offers a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an evening of fine Japanese cuisine. The menu is rich and varied, with a wide selection of traditional dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The sushi, in particular, was exceptional: incredibly fresh and expertly prepared fish, with meticulous attention to detail. Even the hot dishes, such as ramen and tempura, lived up to expectations, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The staff was courteous and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. Furthermore, the wait times were short, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The only flaw, if I may say so, were the slightly overly generous portions, which might be too much for those with a more moderate appetite. However, this detail did not negatively impact the overall experience, which remained extremely positive. In short, Tokyo Restaurant is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy Japanese cuisine in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try other dishes from their interesting menu!

07/03/2026: The food quality is very good compared to many others, both the Chinese and Japanese are excellent. The menu is all you can eat and you order with a slip of paper. I'd say the only flaw is that the place could use some modernization and better maintenance, but as for the food, I have nothing to complain about.

27/08/2025: This was our first stay at this hotel, and we've already loved it. It's a quiet location outside the city center, yet still well-served and close enough to the sea. The room is very spacious, but has a very small balcony. The service and cleanliness are very good, but the decor is a bit questionable. What made us fall in love with this hotel is the family-friendly, serene atmosphere that permeates every corner. We felt at home, especially at the special evening organized by the owner family on their estate among the olive trees, with lots of good food and music. Even more important is their love for animals, who are very welcome and pampered. My dog ​​even found a wonderful friend, RUDY, the owner's big dog. We highly recommend it and hope to return. 17/03/2026: It's a shame that the town of Cento has a very provincial mentality. As for customers at dinner time, there were only 5 of us. Despite the culinary experience being of quality at a modest price and good service, they deserve more customers. The beef tagine with plums, almonds and apricots was sublime, the rest was very good.

03/06/2025: Here we are, the celiac family. Oh, what can I say? This was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant has a style that's somewhere between modern classic European and a touch of the East. The staff is friendly and competent. The food is exquisite, fresh, and surprising with its combination of colors and flavors. The dishes are tastefully presented, aesthetically pleasing, and also a delight to the eyes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit overwhelming for me due to too much formality, but that's fine; we had a great time anyway. We'll definitely be back. Must try, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: I can't understand how you can run a restaurant without a vegetarian menu... how can you reduce Eastern cuisine to an endless list of insipid, meat-based dishes... is that all??? Really?? Send the chef to school... Moreover, this policy is truly masochistic because every time there are people in the company who don't want to eat meat, the whole company will go eat somewhere else.

01/04/2026: The fish quality is average and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. The service is prompt. A special thanks to Ali, who is always friendly and very knowledgeable about customer service. He's a point of reference for us every time we return.

29/03/2026: I ordered four takeout dishes (Cantonese rice, udon noodles with shrimp and vegetables, and two portions of spring rolls). They managed to screw up both dishes. Instead of Cantonese rice, they gave me rice with shrimp and vegetables, and instead of the nudon noodles with shrimp and vegetables, they gave me nudon noodles with vegetables only. I was disappointed with the spring rolls; I expected them to be classic, but from the reviews, it seems like that's how they make them. I was disappointed.

24/02/2026: An excellent Japanese restaurant, this is my go-to place in Modena when I'm craving Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is tastefully and carefully decorated, the food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and professional.

03/02/2026: Unfortunately, the place isn't very clean. There's a bad sewer smell right from the entrance, and the raw fish, unfortunately, wasn't fresh at all. It almost makes you sick. There's a restriction on how many dishes you can order. If we're a table of three paying guests, I expect everyone to be able to order at least one dish of everything. The bare minimum. Poor service, bad smell, zero cleanliness.

21/01/2026: Lunch portions seem to have shrunk significantly lately. The sushi pieces are getting smaller and smaller, and the fish content is increasingly scarce. I would have preferred a price increase rather than a reduction in the quality/quantity of the dishes. It's a shame. Takeout seems to have remained unchanged; let's hope it stays that way.

09/04/2026: The sushi was good and high-quality, although I wasn't particularly thrilled with the color and flavor of the salmon. The menu is small, but comprehensive. To order, you have to tell the waitress your dishes out loud (maximum 4 per person per shift), as there's no tablet or smartphone ordering option. Unfortunately, the service didn't meet my expectations. I'm used to being greeted differently, especially being shown to my table. Instead, the waitress at the cashier simply said, "That table for two." There aren't many tables in that room, but I didn't appreciate that much. Furthermore, the tables are too close together, so much so that walking between them means you end up touching the tables of the customers next to you. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but I think it could be improved.

16/02/2026: A welcome as cold as a January day in Lapland, limited service with a truly restrictive and frustrating maximum number of courses. The mandatory vegetable ravioli tasted a lot like mom's vegetables. To top it all off, the waitress who asked after every course if she could take the dishes away and if we'd finished eating was quite annoying.
