27/08/2025: If you're looking for 5-star dining at reasonable prices in a seaside resort like Lignano, Bar Italia is the perfect place. Papa cooks here himself. It's truly traditional Italian. Nothing is reheated here. Everything is freshly cooked. The taste of the food is simply incredible. An explosion of flavors in your mouth. There's a wealth of truly amazing dishes. And the finest cocktails. We discovered the bar on our third day and ate here exclusively from then on.

01/02/2026: The owner only serves clients who order more expensive seafood dishes. If you stop by for pizza, you are treated more like a bum. We wanted pizza, then we were told that they were not baking that day. Okay, we understood and ordered another. The grilled calamari was cold. The waiter had a cold attitude. When we paid, we noticed that the pizzas were baked, because the pizza chef was preparing them in front of us. It was clear that the waiter was uncomfortable when he noticed that we saw this. In short, the pizza parlor is not worth visiting. Every guest deserves the same treatment

19/12/2025: We had lunch here because all the other pizzerias were closed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the pizza was quite good. Those who ordered pizza, despite paying €2.50 per person for the cover charge, didn't even get a piece of bread or a packet of breadsticks to munch on while they waited. Unfortunately, at a certain point, a strong sewer smell filled the area where we were having lunch. Luckily, we were already at the cafe and left immediately.

31/12/2025: Following a legitimate request for clarification formulated in the spirit of dialogue, the employee contacted by phone displayed a surprisingly rude attitude, lacking any professional grace, and adopted a style of speech that clearly bordered on the inappropriate. This behavior, besides being unpleasant, betrays a concept of customer service that is difficult to reconcile with basic hospitality standards. Regarding the price, the fee requested appears significantly disproportionate to the quality of the food offered. The pizzas, already visually unappealing, confirmed their overall modest nature upon tasting, resulting in disharmonious flavors and lacking any distinguishing note worthy of mention. The French fries were flaccid and lacking in structure, while the crust, with an excessively tough consistency, made the very act of chewing an exercise more akin to perseverance than pleasure. These shortcomings reveal a worrying superficiality in the execution and control of the final product. Overall, the experience paints a picture of an establishment with obvious shortcomings in both service and culinary excellence. A thorough and urgent review of its operational and interpersonal practices therefore appears essential if the restaurant intends to achieve standards even minimally commensurate with the expectations of a discerning and demanding clientele. A consultation with professionals with proven expertise in the sector would not only be appropriate, but hopefully lifesaving.

30/12/2025: The pizza here is incredibly good! I highly recommend both the large pizza and the individual slices. Very varied and unusual flavors with fabulous pairings. I'll definitely be back; from now on, I'll be a trusted pizzeria! Congratulations to the pizza chefs!!!

29/08/2025: It's known for its wide selection of piadinas, which you can also customize to your liking. They also offer a burger option. The staff I met was pleasant and engaging. Rosa is a smart, sweet, and very helpful girl. Highly recommended!

13/12/2025: How much can go wrong if you stay in business for decades? The portions are for two, so they're a bit more expensive plus the cover charge, but still quite affordable for two people. It's certainly not a high-end restaurant, but it's pretty solid/good.

09/03/2026: We've been staying at this hotel for four years now, and the experience gets better every year. The hotel is new, clean, and modern, with excellent breakfast and dinner, and service worthy of a four-star hotel.

16/11/2025: We really enjoyed our stay. We received a free room upgrade at the beginning of October. The hotel overlooks pine trees, not the massive hotel complexes you often see elsewhere. Dinner, included in the reasonable half-board price, was excellent, as was breakfast, and gluten-free meals were no problem. We were able to store our bicycles securely, and swimming in the pool was wonderful.

21/09/2025: One of the best meals in terms of value for money you can get in Lignano! Unassuming restaurant and menu! Unfortunately, we only discovered this restaurant on our last day. Had we eaten here earlier, we would have avoided all the other restaurants. We just wanted a drink, but seeing the other dishes, we were getting hungry! Super-large portions. We'd happily go back :)
