05/08/2024: Being able to give 4.5 stars would be the ideal review, but even comparing it with other places 5 stars would be too much. It remains an excellent place to eat in the center of Lignano, in a side street just outside the pedestrian area. Very good food and adequate service, even if we tried only a few dishes. What was a little out of place, even considering the type of place that presents itself as a wine shop, was the medium-high cost and above all the 3.5 euro cover charge, decidedly above average.

13/08/2024: We had dinner last night, an experience not to be repeated!!! Ordered 2 appetizers and a mixed fry which I would say were terrible...one of the worst I've eaten!! The frying plate was full of oil and the fish was almost inedible. The waiter cleared the table, leaving the shells that he accidentally dropped from the plate on the tablecloth. Two other waiters passed after him and did not clean the tablecloth from the carapaces. I ordered a coffee and it was served to me without bringing sugar and without asking if I liked it. Two appetizers, a mixed fry, a glass of wine and a bottle of water for a total of 93 euros. No problem paying them knowing you are in Lignano but... terrible product quality and service. We won't be back!

06/07/2024: We have been coming to Lignano for years and eat at Ristorante Agosti a few times every year. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the Chateaubriand this year. Otherwise excellent served on a hot stone with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. A pleasure. This year there were only a few slices of potatoes, half an ear of corn and lots of spinach. The meat was good, as always, but the side dishes were very disappointing. :((

05/07/2024: The restaurant is beautiful and yet then poorly received by cold staff. The tasteless dishes are expensive for what it is an address to forget.

11/08/2024: Too bad you can't give more stars. We arrived to a completely full restaurant. The very pleasant staff took great care of us. Very kind and helpful, they accommodated us in everything. The food was excellent, just like every time I've been here in a few years. It is truly a gourmet experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and thank everyone involved in this great business. You are doing a great job. I will definitely come back and recommend you to everyone.

26/08/2024: In una Lignano Sabbiadoro percorsa da turisti non particolarmente raffinati e flagellata da mosquitos (numerosissimi), questo bistrot - sito in una stradina fra il corso pedonale e la spiaggia - si differenzia non solo per la bontà del menù, la valida carta dei vini e la gentilezza delle cameriere ma anche per un bel arredamento. Cose queste che contribuiscono a rendere la cena piacevole, nonostante l'assenza di aria condizionata. Ed i mosquitos che tentano sortite sulle tovaglie bianche. Prezzo giusto.

16/08/2024: Senza nulla togliere alla precedente gestione dove Karen dirigeva egregiamente il locale, posso confermare che dopo aver testato tre quattro volte l’attuale conduzione soprattutto a cena, la qualità è la tradizione sono rimaste ad un ottimo livello oserei dire migliorate. La fantasia dello chef mette il sigillo subito negli antipasti, cito le cappesante con il tartufo estivo e il baccalà mantecato con la cipolla caramellata da sposare con la focaccia, insuperabili. Ottimi i primi, consiglio spaghetto alle peverasse. Il pescato freschissimo ricalca l’offerta classica. La cantina dispone delle etichette anche per i più esigenti. Nel complesso direi che si mangia davvero molto bene, molto bene, molto bene. Il Cason sarà anche “piccolo “ ma l’appeal è sicuramente grande.

19/08/2024: The pizzas are very fine and a good size, bruschetta is very oily. The tortellini with cream and ham is a very small portion. We had to wait quite a while for the food. We had to wait 20 minutes for the bill and then ask again. Not everything was served. Was disappointed with this experience.

27/08/2024: ROLL OR WAVE BAR? BARAONDA brings joy and rhythm, BAR A ONDA alludes to the beloved sea just a few steps away... (or is it ironic about the undulating progress of those who go beyond the wise limit?) I have been coming to Lignano Pineta for 30 years, an evening stop here is a must. A beer, a spriz (there is no fifth star 🌟 only because I don't know the gastronomic offer of appetizers), a few steps from the center: just enough to ensure a refreshment break in company or even in peace. The girls who run it are special, friendly and professional but they also know how to create an atmosphere of familiarity. For me, this place brings together so many memories, like the page of a life diary, where pain and joy make up a precious puzzle. Ultimately these breaks give meaning to everything, a good well-drafted beer at the right temperature, served with a smile, a spriz, immersed in the scent of pine trees and salty air, can become good anesthesia for the stress that life imposes.

Mrs. Elisa, the owner, is a force of nature and her husband and collaborators are always smiling and available. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop by and fill up on excellent ice cream and empathy.

25/08/2024: We arrived at this place that we have known and frequented for several years, always, to tell the truth, with satisfaction... This time unfortunately we arrived later than usual and the service was evidently closing... We have no complaints about this, except the fact that there is a way and way of communicating things: specifically the waitress was very rude and certainly annoyed; she first made us sit down and immediately seemed annoyed that we were sitting down, then, even though we had specified upon entering that we wanted access to the restaurant service and not the pizzeria, she began to put pressure on us and inevitably make us feel "uncomfortable". Too bad, we would have liked to spend a birthday eating there, and let's be clear, we would not have failed to consume abundantly and therefore repay the service offered. Instead we moved a few meters further, to the “Il Faro” restaurant where we are calmly eating our two or three courses (just to make it clear that for the summer season, at the seaside, we were not that late after all)……. There is simply a way to communicate with the customer, even if the service is closing or is already closed...

22/08/2024: Great place! Very family friendly and delicious food! Price performance top! 👍🏻 the service was the best I've experienced in Lignano! Service on point, very friendly and organized! We don't have a photo of the homemade pasta! They were also very tasty! 😋
