Excellent desserts. Spotlessly clean rooms and services. To be recommended and to return. Tables outside with open views.
26/08/2024: Excellent farmhouse near Trieste, a stone's throw from the border. We stopped by chance on the way back from holiday in Croatia. Excellently cooked traditional dishes and fabulous desserts

22/10/2024: I go there often, open every day, for lunch during the week many lunches for workers, but it is still a trattoria also suitable for lunches with family and friends, on Sundays the menu is slightly broader and at lunch there are companies and families.
The menu ranges from phenomenal gnocchi to goulash, lubische, grilled side dishes, and they also have some fish-based dishes. Quality/price=Top

02/01/2025: Posto sporco, la sala da pranzo fredda, clientela scarsa e di bassa qualità.
Poco cordiali e cibo imbarazzante. Dalla cassa si intravedeva la cucina: Canavacciuolo potrebbe registrare una delle puntate di Cucine da Incubo. Imbarazzante

I would have given one more star... but on a discordant note, customer parking is charged at 30 euros, frankly an exorbitant amount... and parking for those staying overnight should be free! A small suggestion, a basket should also be placed in the bathroom... throwing a sanitary napkin into the one in the bedroom (for ladies who need it) seems unhygienic to me. Net of everything and with the appropriate corrective measures, I would return if necessary... even if I paid a little more...

09/09/2023: Il rifugio apre alle 12 in punto, non spaventatevi se non vedete movimento prima. Da provare assolutamente gli gnocchi di pane con il goulash. Staff gentile e simpatico. Posti all’esterno all’ombra che costeggiano il fiume.
19/08/2023: Posto meraviglioso e personale gentilissimo. Consigliati spritz e gnocchi col gulash. IMPERDIBILE!!!
