01/05/2026: Escape to beautiful nature, 10 minutes drive from Koper. The circular route takes about 2 hours, mostly in the shade. Very exposed during strong bora winds, as they blow right across the valley.

16/05/2026: It looks like a simple tagliata, but it's actually an excellent tagliata! I thoroughly enjoyed this dinner, and the service was excellent. I've booked again.
16/05/2026: My wife and I spent two days in Trieste. The highlight was definitely the restaurant.
Friendly, attentive, and absolutely delicious. They catered to our every need.
Italian, German, and English were no problem. The atmosphere was fantastic. This is Bella Italia! 👍🏼

06/04/2026: Friendly service, very good food, and excellent service. Our dogs were welcome, and we loved the family atmosphere. We'll be back!
08/03/2026: We went there at 2 pm for a bite to eat. We hadn't booked, but there were about ten tables available outside. I should point out that the restaurant is open all day, but despite there being plenty of seats to fill, the waiter apologized and didn't seat us. Luckily, there's an Osmiza 100 meters away that, despite being busy, thank God, doesn't turn people away and offers excellent service, authentic products, and a decent quality/price ratio! PS: An hour later, upon returning from the Osmiza, the same old empty tables... They were still empty!!!

Unfortunately, the high expectations we had for this day were not met, especially considering the importance of the occasion: our son's baptism.
The appetizer buffet was very limited in both variety and quantity, so much so that some guests were unable to sample anything.
The service, despite the courteous staff, seemed understaffed for the number of guests (about 45), resulting in long waits and refills of water and wine, which were only made upon request.
The children, who had a special menu, ate later than the adults due to poor timing.
During the toast, some guests' requests for additional sparkling wine were denied without consulting us; we would have expected to be consulted regarding whether or not to add it, even if it cost something, something we had clarified was not a problem.
Furthermore, some requests agreed upon during the reservation were not honored: the lactose-free menu was not considered, and an elderly lady with several intolerances, who had been asked for strudel for dessert, was unfortunately not served anything.
On a positive note: the first and second courses served at the table were very good and appreciated by everyone.
With greater attention to organization and service management, the experience could have been significantly improved, especially for important family events.

22/12/2025: We've been there twice in a short time. The first time we tried the mixed fried seafood, which was excellent and plentiful. The second time we tried the pizza, with excellent dough and generous toppings. The service was excellent.

14/06/2026: If you want to unwind and indulge in the true pleasure of relaxation, Hotel Sonia is just the thing for you. A quiet and relaxing spot not far from the city center, it's a place worth stopping to recharge.
12/06/2026: Terrible experience from start to finish.
I had to wait half an hour for my room, and in that time I saw that other guests had also had problems (reservations not found, keys to rooms already occupied, documents mixed up with those for other rooms, etc.).
The room was simple and small, but not clean and poorly maintained: smudges on the walls, black spots on the bed, a loose toilet seat.
Breakfast was decent, but lunch and dinner were always the same reheated items (stuffed cannelloni served three days in a row, the last time the food tasted like plastic), with very little variety and terrible quality (raw pasta, burnt chicken, etc.).

Rifugio Premuda

08/05/2025: Ora che la gestione è cambiata, si gode nuovamente nell'arrivare al rifugio più basso del mondo. I piatti sono ottimi, la cucina è tradizionale ma finalmente curata e di ottima qualità pur rimanendo su livelli di costo da gita domenicale. Ottime le birre, i dolci e soprattutto finalmente un clima amichevole.
03/05/2025: Sono stata a pranzo con amici in questo rifugio storico finalmente riaperto, a parte la location in una posizione fantastica, è stato tutto super: ottimo cibo, porzioni più che adeguate, buon vino e dolci. Da sottolineare la gentilezza del personale, tutti ragazzi giovani cortesi e sorridenti.
Sicuramente un posto dove tornare con piacere.
