Good hiking trails near water. Close to city.

It is a good (3-5hour) length hike with steep climb at the end. As a place to get some views its not it, better find some other lovely places nearby if you wish to see amazing views.

It is a pleasant and interesting nature resort to walk. We did not go very far, but it was enjoyable to observe the canyon, sheep, and the river. As the landscape is fairly open, it would be helpful to have some sanitary objects every now and then.

Routes, not always simple, characterised by gravel sections, but it is worth the effort to explore them.

Uncontaminated nature.. wonderful ❤️

Escape to beautiful nature, 10 minutes drive from Koper. The circular route takes about 2 hours, mostly in the shade. Very exposed during strong bora winds, as they blow right across the valley.

I went with a scooter from Trieste 🤩 and then parked and walked a bit through the trails. It was so peaceful and quiet. It's beautiful. It continues up but I didn't have enough time.

Beautiful, well-marked and maintained trails. The Rifugio in Bagnoli Superiore is highly recommended.
