Wonderful hiking trail, mesmerizing waterfall at the end. If you're brave enough and have proper equipment, you can go down to the waterfall and explore the other side of the mountain. The path is marked in some areas, however it is quite dangerous. The views are worth it though and the path along the river is full of hidden pools and natural slides, perfect for swimming in warmer months!

Absolutnie niesamowite miejsce. 5 gwiazdek to za malo. Ostoja natury blisko wielkiego miasta. Górski teren z wieloma ścieżkami, punktami widokowymi, cudnym wodospadem i górska rzeka. Na stokach zyja dzikie kozy, a moze i koziorożce - kiedyś ich tam nie bylo. Odkad bylem tu pierwszy raz ponad 15 lat temu wracam tu regularnie. Jestem zakochany w tej dolinie. Fajnie, ze temat budowy TAV przez nia chyba nie doszedł do skutku!

Bella esperienza e bella passeggiata a contatto con la natura....se si sale fino in cima spettacolare paesaggio da ammirare ...poi tornati indietro a fine percorso....all'inizio del paesino, subito sulla sinistra, un locale molto carino ed economico per rifocillarsi....anche con tavolini all'aperto....ma per chi odia che gli fuminino praticamente in faccia mentre mangia, è confortevole anche l'interno....

02/04/2024: Didn't reserve but still happened to get a table for 2 people on Good Friday. The boss comes to the table personally to explain the menu in German and suggest current daily specials. Very homely and cozy. But next time we will definitely reserve in advance, as some people didn't get a place after us.

04/03/2024: We simply love Paolo, his staff and place and also the region around muggia. We've been around the world to so many places but at Paolos we found a true jewel. We felt like home like we belong to this place. It's one of the most relaxing, warm-hearted, delicious and respectful places ever. You drink (wine, grappa) and eat (fruits, tomatoes) from Paolos garden. You can have dinner every evening with fresh, delicate seafood and wine as much as you can (around 50€-60€). Included breakfast is continental and coffee is good and you can have it in what time ever during the morning. It's not a hotel, it's home. The rooms are quiet simple but still very clean with good mattresses and they have AC & heater. If there's something you need, you don't like or you want, say it and you will get it. Maybe you have a good life now and staying at Paolos will make your life even better! Buy the wine and olive oil! High quality, great price. Baci to Paolo, beloved dog King and the whole team! We we'll be back soon!
