12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.
26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! Thank you so much... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

02/08/2026: In the center of Sistiana, a lovely place to enjoy seafood. The service is excellent and attentive, the wait for dishes is short, and the food is varied and tasty. Fair prices for the dishes offered. RECOMMENDED!!!
02/08/2026: Among the seafood, which was excellent, the pistachio tiramisu was one of the top three tiramisus I’ve ever tasted (and I eat tiramisu all over the world). I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

06/08/2026: This is not a review of the restaurant, but of the accommodation.
We spent 1 night here (booked through Booking). Everything was clean and perfectly prepared. The only thing missing was a plug for the bathtub. I inadvertently stated the wrong number of people when booking, but we eventually resolved it with the accommodation by paying extra. The breakfast was rather modest, so the selection was not very rich. The breakfast price only includes one coffee – it was delicious and honestly prepared, but you have to pay extra for each additional one.

19/07/2026: A lovely pub with typically wooden furnishings and a pleasant internal garden (with a small corner for live music in the evenings). The food is very good and the prices are fair. As for parking, as the place faces the street, you have to look around, but honestly, I've never had any problems. Give it a try.
03/07/2026: Great little pub with a dozen beers on tap and a lot more in bottles. Good fresh food, including vegan) vegetarian options. Friendly service. Pretty quick. Parking in front for a few cars.

19/05/2026: Reading the various reviews, it seems like a rather overrated place to me. Here you're only paying for the location in Porto Piccolo (an exclusive village with a marina, in an architectural style that's supposed to recall an Istrian village). So I was there for lunch on Sunday: spaghetti with shelled clams (22 euros), a half-glass of Ribolla Gialla (5 euros), water (3.50 euros), bread and cover charge (3.50 euros). Total: 34 euros. For me, the unique location doesn't justify the price.
03/05/2026: It's a very cozy restaurant, close to the beach. The pizza is divine and the prosecco is ice cold, just as it should be. The waiter is nice and smiling.

06/04/2026: A small, exquisite cave. We found ourselves rather by chance in front of the house at 2:00 PM. By 3:00 PM, nine other interested people had arrived. For the tour, you need a warm jacket and knowledge of English, Slovenian, or Italian. I only partially understood the tour, which was in Italian and peppered with political statements. However, the guide's expertise was considerable. We were bumped along to the entrance on a tractor trailer, where the alternator first had to be started. The view of the cave was fantastic. Seeing the Earth's interior is fascinating.

14/07/2026: I think the cafe might have technically been closed, but Dimitri (the owner) was outside chatting on the phone. He ended his call and invited us in. Prepared me an awesome coffee and tasty sandwich. And my gf grabbed an ice cream. We proceeded to sit outside, the three of us, chatting for the next 45 minutes or so. Dimitri told us all about the area and the many generations his family has lived in around Trieste. He also told us how to get to a nearby lookout with an amazing view, which didn't disappoint. I'm so glad we stopped at how establishment. Thanks so much, Dimitri!

09/08/2026: While passing through the area, I found this wonderful agriturismo...what can I say? The mixed antipasto was excellent (the prosciutto was out of this world). Ivana and Alice are super nice and helpful, and they made my meal even better (don't change, girls!)
02/08/2026: Everything was just awesome. This place is lovely, pure gold. They run their own restaurant in weekends offering local specialities of the local cuisine. Even though they were fully booked, they promptly added another for us. The meal they served us is just one of a kind. An unforgettable experince!
We spent here 5 days in their very good equiped apartment with a great rural vibe.
Very kind, honest and warm people.
Looking forward to seeing you again!
