12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.
26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! Thank you so much... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

01/07/2026: Excellent fish dishes. The gnocchi aren't great; I wouldn't eat them again. The quality/price ratio is adequate. The service is attentive and not overwhelming. All in all, we'd definitely return.
26/06/2026: Top experience. Fresh and incredibly delicious food, friendly staff who speak Slovenian, reasonable prices, wonderful ambiance. Fritto misto was excellent. Worth a visit. We will be back.

06/04/2026: A small, exquisite cave. We found ourselves rather by chance in front of the house at 2:00 PM. By 3:00 PM, nine other interested people had arrived. For the tour, you need a warm jacket and knowledge of English, Slovenian, or Italian. I only partially understood the tour, which was in Italian and peppered with political statements. However, the guide's expertise was considerable. We were bumped along to the entrance on a tractor trailer, where the alternator first had to be started. The view of the cave was fantastic. Seeing the Earth's interior is fascinating.

29/06/2026: A very nice trattoria with a lovely veranda. I had fritti misto; the sauce was excellent, but the sardines were a touch dry for my taste, hence only 3 stars. Other dishes looked very good. The portion was a pleasantly large size, so I had grilled vegetables beforehand. The coffee was good.
27/06/2026: The mixed seafood appetizer leaves a lot to be desired, but the rest of the dishes are really good.

19/07/2026: A lovely pub with typically wooden furnishings and a pleasant internal garden (with a small corner for live music in the evenings). The food is very good and the prices are fair. As for parking, as the place faces the street, you have to look around, but honestly, I've never had any problems. Give it a try.
03/07/2026: Great little pub with a dozen beers on tap and a lot more in bottles. Good fresh food, including vegan) vegetarian options. Friendly service. Pretty quick. Parking in front for a few cars.

19/05/2026: Reading the various reviews, it seems like a rather overrated place to me. Here you're only paying for the location in Porto Piccolo (an exclusive village with a marina, in an architectural style that's supposed to recall an Istrian village). So I was there for lunch on Sunday: spaghetti with shelled clams (22 euros), a half-glass of Ribolla Gialla (5 euros), water (3.50 euros), bread and cover charge (3.50 euros). Total: 34 euros. For me, the unique location doesn't justify the price.
03/05/2026: It's a very cozy restaurant, close to the beach. The pizza is divine and the prosecco is ice cold, just as it should be. The waiter is nice and smiling.

01/06/2026: This is Trieste's go-to place for dining with kids. Shaded outdoor seating, a fully equipped play area near the tables, delicious food, a children's menu (served very quickly), and the icing on the cake: farm animals to visit before leaving. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend a relaxing and safe Saturday or Sunday with family or friends!

19/06/2026: A very well-located trattoria. The food is delicious. Since the menu isn't too extensive, the dishes are well-prepared. You should allow yourself some time. The service is fantastic. As the menu is only in Italian, they will provide information in English upon request. The service is friendly and helpful. It was a lovely evening.
19/06/2026: We had a great time at this place. Service was really friendly, we got a direct translation for the menu as it was only in Italian.
Food was really good, we had some handmade pasta as well as the tartar as a starter.
We'll gladly come back ☺️

19/05/2026: We stopped by for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and found a restaurant with courteous, fast, and friendly staff, and truly delicious and plentiful seafood dishes. Kudos to the owner and all the staff! It's a shame we didn't meet you sooner!
11/05/2026: As I've already written, Silvia's is always a great place to be. The food and pizza are excellent, and the service is fast and perfect, even when the place is packed. The karaoke on Friday nights is a great way to get together, sing, and laugh together.
