08/01/2025: A place surrounded by nature, during the day there are many animals outside, very nice also for families with children. We were a large table of friends, we ate very well and a lot, with excellent wine. The only flaw among all the dishes was the stew with potatoes, some potatoes were raw and the stew was more fat than meat and not very tasty. The rest including the dessert was very good.

07/10/2024: Für mich eines der besten Restaurants in der Triest/Duino Gegend! Ich komme fast regelmässig wenn wir in der Region sind in dieses Restaurant weil es exzellente Küche, mit einer exzellenten Weinauswahl, einem extrem aufmerksamen Service (man merkt es ist ein Familienbetrieb!) und leistbaren Preisen verbindet. Ob A la carte oder Gourmetmenü - wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Wer Pizza und Pasta sucht ist hier falsch . Wer anspruchsvolle regionale Fleisch- und Fischküche sucht ist super richtig. Die Weine aus dem Karst nicht zu vergessen - meist persönlich empfohlen vom Sohn des Hauses!

20/08/2024: Puede ser que sea un restaurante Michelin, sin embargo la familia del propietario sobrevivió a dos guerras mundiales y la pandemia... también lo hizo la mía... Pero este es un lugar absolutamente no amable, con personal grosero, propietario egocéntrico. Quizá cocinen buenas comidas, pero nos fuimos sin comer. Vinimos con niños pequeños y estaba claro, no podían comer entrante y el plato principal... incluso no todo el plato principal, mi hermana estaba poco después de la cirugía abdominal y podía comer solo pequeñas porciones... el propietario no era capaz de entender la situación de tener niños pequeños y diferentes estados de salud de los huéspedes, todavía explicando el estilo de vida italiano y la necesidad de pedir varios entrantes y cursos de correo. El restaurante estaba vacío, no había invitados a las 19: 45 , el propietario nos dijo que podían venir a las 21 : 00 ... . pero cierran a las 22: 00... buen chiste... Me gustaría ver a los invitados... Estamos enamorados de Italia y la gente de este hermoso país suele ser agradable, amable y servicial ... Hay negocios en todo el mundo sobre los clientes y su dinero... mi tiempo, mi dinero... y nunca apoyaré a un pueblo tan grosero con modales tan descortés. Feliz yo... Italia es un país grande con miles de millones de restaurantes brillantes ❤️❤️❤️ Prefiero darles mi dinero y tener una gran experiencia

24/11/2024: After not eating anything all day, we came to this place. The kitchen was already closed, but the owner was so kind to make two sandwiches especially for us. Everyone was also really nice and funny. It was great to meet such great people after such a lovely day.

17/12/2024: Very good raw ham especially when tasted quickly even in a canapé with a good spritz. The Sbrisolona dessert with jam is very good. And the grappa is also pleasant and aromatic for takeaway. For the other cured meats you have to sit at the table because I ate at the counter. But I have no doubt that the rest will be at the top like the raw one

15/12/2024: Prodotti buoni.. A parte il vino (bianco) di mediocre/pessima qualità.. Atteso che si tratta di un osmica non mi aspettavo dei prezzi così alti.. E ne ho visitato di osmize.. 39 euro per avere preso veramente poche cose.. Personale simpatico ma quando ti fregano così non ci torni più.. Peccato ma comunque w le osmize

05/12/2024: In August 2024. The staff ignores me, they keep me waiting. That table is not cleared. You had to wait a long time for the pizza and it was tasteless. However, it is unreasonably expensive, compared to the quality. A lot of wasted time, a lot of wasted money! Never again!!!

19/11/2024: given the difficulty of booking I was thinking of a much better experience already off to a bad start when we entered, when asked if we had booked and when I answered in the affirmative, the lady was annoyed by the fact that instead of mentioning my surname as per the reservation I said my name (days had passed and I didn't remember which reference I had given) apart from this, regarding the food: good homemade gnocchi but the roast sauce is decidedly too soupy, "Istrian" fuzi (specified in the menu) which look more like garganelli seasoned with the same sauce ljubyanska and fried chicken were good though Decent house wine negative service, no smile, zero empathy from the lady in the room bordering on embarrassing score due almost exclusively to the coldness of those who served us and the atmosphere in general There is definitely better in the area

30/11/2024: Siamo stati altre volte (non siamo del luogo) ed eravamo abbastanza soddisfatti anche sei i prezzi sono alti, ma oggi siamo rimasti a bocca aperta, i piatti erano veramente irrisori (50 g di pasta) ma la cosa che ci ha colpito e che guardando i piatti di altri tavoli chiaramente di persone del luogo erano il doppio dei nostri , noi abbiamo pensato perché ci hanno valutato come dei turisti. mangiato poco , pagato tanto, mi dispiace della delusione e del fatto che non ci ritorneremo più perché il posto e bello, che peccato. la qualità si paga con piacere ma bisogna trovare vera qualità e porzioni che saziano e non esagerate,a non 50 g.

25/11/2024: Erano anni che non tornavo in questo posto. Location molto bella, in riva al mare, ma in una vecchia e orrenda cava dismessa. Interni curati e possibilità di stare all'aperto nella bella stagione. Ma prezzi da locale di alto livello, però la cucina non è allo stesso livello. Gestoresse molto gentili, ma mancano scelte nel bere (non hanno Coca Zero...!), acqua minerale solo in bottiglie grandi (hanno inventato anche le piccole da 1/2 litro..., specie per le persone sole). Primi da far paura, pochissima scelta, tutta di pesce (e se uno degli ospiti non lo gradisce?) con prezzi da 14-16€. Peggio che in centro e Rive a Trieste. Ma li siamo fuori dal mondo. Secondi ancora più costosi, e infatti pochi li prendono, e non fatti a regola d'arte. Contorni giganteschi che da soli fanno un pranzo. Caffè così così. Eppure era pieno di gente, forse anche perchè era l'unico posto aperto. Da solo, €32 per un secondo (così così) con contorno, 1/2 antipasto (squisito, a dire il vero), acqua minerale e una soda. Caffè.
