22/12/2025: It's a bar I often frequent for breakfast or a mid-morning snack: the staff is truly friendly and never fails to make you feel how much they care about their work and their establishment. As for the food and drinks I consume, as I mentioned, it's usually breakfast—coffee, cappuccino, and various pastries—and I can honestly say they're all top-quality.

22/05/2026: It's the perfect place for a special or intimate evening. Excellent wine list. I prefer fish, but there's also a meat menu. If you enjoy raw food, there's plenty to choose from. Excellent service. Reservations are recommended.

24/05/2026: We ordered takeout twice, and both times we had major problems: the first time, the dish had ingredients we specifically didn't request due to allergies; the second time, we ordered two fish and chips, but received two mixed fried foods. A real shame, because the quality of the food was evident. We won't be returning, though.

08/07/2026: I tried to dine here last night, but apparently the chef doesn't tolerate vegans and has no intention of welcoming them. I've never encountered anything like this before, so I had to get up and leave. It's a shame, because the place looked lovely, and the waitress was even kind. The restaurant is free to refuse to accommodate vegans, and I feel free to report it and leave a review of my experience.

01/01/2026: A historic family-run establishment in Cervia, it's been in business for over 50 years. They serve delicious breakfasts in the morning and excellent aperitifs (like spritzes) throughout the day. Their pizzas and sandwiches are exquisite (and excellent at any time of day). Their Irish coffee is a special treat, masterfully prepared using an excellent whiskey, making it especially perfect in the winter. The owners are wonderful and very kind, as is the young man who waits at the tables. This is one of those places in Cervia you absolutely must visit, and I hope it stays around for a long time.

13/06/2026: Beautiful campsite, very shaded, close to the sea. The restrooms are always clean. The restaurant is good. Friendly staff.

08/06/2026: We slept in a camper for 2 nights, excellent. Strategic location, just steps from the sea and the town's amenities. Numerous and very clean restrooms, spacious pitches well shaded by the trees that grow throughout the campsite.

13/07/2026: Great place with absolutely delicious pizza. The menu offers a wide variety of flavors, so there’s something for everyone. You can choose from classic options as well as more unique combinations, like pizza with fries or mushrooms. The service was also excellent. We were served quickly, politely, and professionally. Even though we don’t speak Italian fluently, we had no problems ordering. The staff understood exactly what we wanted, so the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this place.

28/06/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance. Amazing pan pizza, good beer, run by young guys, which doesn't hurt. But the great thing about the place is that you can breathe in the fresh, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

23/06/2026: We visited for a private event, so the menu was set. We asked for an unscheduled wine, which we obviously had to pay for ourselves: the first bottle cost €25, the second, identical, €30. And what's more, the second was warm. Some tables received one more course than others because the waiters apparently got mixed up. The waitress who served our table was kind and professional, but not so many others. Overall, it was a private event, so I can't fault the quality and quantity, but I'd say there's a lot of room for improvement regarding the service, given that with a set menu, all you have to worry about is making sure everyone gets everything. €60 per person was worth a little more.

07/05/2026: Not recommended, barely decent service, annoyed waitress, decent grilled food but the first courses (crespelle) had frozen cores, no gluten-free options even though they assured us otherwise when booking, not a single plate of cured meats without croutons, not even a measly packet of gluten-free crackers. In the end, they told us they didn't have glasses for limoncello, brought the bottles and... make do, there were 30 of us but at least 10 would have had a limoncello. At the checkout, not even out of courtesy/custom, were we asked how the lunch had gone. I had prepared a standard menu for everyone to avoid any problems, but Dear Managers, if you don't want to manage tables of 30 people, you can refuse the reservations and... A piece of advice: change the waiting staff or take a refresher course on courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness... There were some professionals among us, and the impression was terrible. We won't be returning.

27/03/2026: A quiet dinner and very good pizza. The menu is very varied, including starters, main courses, pizzas, and drinks. It's a shame there aren't many dairy-free options for desserts. I would recommend the restaurant add more vegan options. Otherwise, excellent service, a beautiful atmosphere, and clean bathrooms. I recommend coming especially in the summer because there's a very charming outdoor area.

27/04/2026: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review: This isn't the first time I've eaten at Polka, and as a celiac, I've always considered it a "go-to" restaurant in Marina Romea. Yesterday was my first and last time at Polka in 2026, for two main reasons I absolutely will not compromise: 1) UNREASONABLE PRICE INCREASE. Let's be clear, you can't pay €18 for fried fish that is actually fried onions, zucchini, eggplant, and carrots. 2) THE QUALITY OF THE DISH IS VERY POOR. Besides being a dish of mostly vegetables, there was also another problem: they were drowned in oil, which is disgusting and not at all healthy. First of all, I reiterate that the price is completely illogical considering it's all vegetables, and especially for that price, it's unacceptable for a dish to come out drowned in oil. I'd like to leave you with an ethical question: Knowing the social fabric in Italy, after years of stagnant wages, and after a rapid and constant increase in costs that doesn't seem to be slowing down, is it ethical to offer certain expensive dishes of rather questionable quality?
