Framboise Cucina in Brisighella is a little gem. Simple in its decor, warm in its service, and impressive in its cuisine.
Here, the chef himself is at the stove, making the pasta from scratch, and you can taste it in every bite.
The starter: Tortino di patate con asparagi e salsa al gorgonzola, simply divine.
The Strozzapreti cacio e pepe, perfect, handmade, and full of character.
The Tagliatelle al ragù con piselli, the ideal width, with a ragù just like home cooking.
And the Rotolo di pollo with Barba di frate (monk's beard) – a wonderfully regional vegetable, expertly prepared and a true discovery.
Enjoyed with a house blend of Albana and Chardonnay, harmonious, elegant, and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Served with dark and light focaccia.
A place for everyone who loves honest, no-fuss, but expertly prepared food.

01/05/2026: Good food...even if the Cantabrian anchovies were presented directly from the can on the plate where there was bread and butter...well, I didn't like it, it seemed a bit careless...like the not very nice (rude) jokes that the owner made at a table where a foreign mother (perhaps Thai) was having lunch with some friends.

19/11/2025: We arrived Sunday evening at 9 pm without a reservation, and the lady found a way to seat us and make sure we had a truly enjoyable evening. The kind of place where you only get up when you realize you're the last one left. The food was truly good... just like grandma used to make it...

06/04/2026: It's hard to choose where to start. My friends and I chose this place for Easter lunch. There were four menus to choose from: seafood, meat, vegetarian, and vegan.
My friends and I chose seafood and meat, so I'll focus on these two. But after trying this restaurant, I'd also take my vegan friends there, confident they'd return home satisfied.
In general, I've rarely eaten so well in one place. I'll try to review everything we tried, and since there are so many, I'll repeat some adjectives. My apologies.
The shrimp, crostini, and vegetable Catalana was perfectly balanced; the fresh shrimp made all the difference, and the cooking was impeccable.
The tuna tartare, stracciatella, mint, and peach was a completely unexpected surprise. I didn't like mint, so I had low expectations, but after trying it, I completely changed my mind. The tuna was incredibly fresh, the mint was a perfect addition, and this dish was also perfectly balanced (like everyone else, I think I'll stop saying that from now on).
We also ordered an off-menu item for my friend, who doesn't like raw fish. Instead of the tartare, they served her an octopus stew with crostini. I tried it, and I have to say, that was perfect, too, despite being off-menu.
As for the meat appetizers:
The veal with tuna sauce, caper flowers, and marinated egg was a new way to enjoy veal with tuna sauce. Capers aren't my favorite thing, but the caper flowers in this dish really kicked things up a notch.
The beef tartare, confit cherry tomatoes, stracciatella, and parmesan was also a discovery. Although the recipe is less original than the others, and I'd already tried a similar one elsewhere, I was still surprised by the balance (I know, I wrote I'd never write it again) of the dish.
After the appetizers, the chef was our hero. No dish turned out badly, no problem. Even though some ingredients didn't convince me on paper, they DEFINITELY convinced me once I tried the dishes.
Let's move on to the first and second courses:
The seafood menu features paccheri with asparagus, mantis shrimp, and lemon for the first course, and grilled octopus in romesco sauce and spinach for the second course.
The mantis shrimp sauce was perfect, just the right amount of flavor but also delicate. The asparagus and lemon neither covered nor were covered by the mantis shrimp, resulting in a perfect dish.
I often eat octopus, but I'd never heard of this romesco sauce paired with it. I think it's a spicy pepper sauce, tasted on its own. I liked it, but for a moment my confidence wavered in the pairing, a wavering that lasted about three seconds, or the time it took to try the octopus with the sauce. It was so good that we took a portion home to take out, which was still good the next day.
For the meat menu: tagliatelle with prosciutto, lemon, and asparagus, and beef fillet, mashed potatoes, and chicory.
The tagliatelle were fresh, the pairing was excellent, and the flavor was remarkable. It's a more common dish than the rest, but it was executed to perfection.
The fillet was cooked to perfection. I asked for it to be rare, and they served it rare, exactly as I expected. The meat was free of sinew and melted in the mouth. The mashed potatoes were excellent, with just the right amount of butter.
For dessert, both menus include a reinterpretation of tiramisu, without coffee and with raspberry, which I also find truly exceptional (plus, the lack of coffee is an added bonus for me, but even if it's not for you, trust me: try it).
The staff He's friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The place is on the beach, elegant, and suitable for both groups and couples.
In short: I'll be back, and if you were unsure whether to try this place: give it a try, because I'm sure it will enchant you just as it enchanted me!

14/12/2025: We often stop for breakfast on our way elsewhere. Excellent pastries, truly high-quality, with a great selection of fillings. I haven't had zabaglione since the "vov" days! Excellent bar service and coffee. A very welcoming and stylish atmosphere, perfect for spending hours there.
17/10/2025: By expanding their pastry shop, they've improved everything. The pastries and brioches are sublime, and the semifreddo cakes are delicious. The staff is quick and efficient, and the atmosphere is lovely, friendly, and bright.

27/04/2026: The sandwiches are really good, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. We've eaten there in the past and, despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited about 40 minutes and some items were missing from our order. This time we ordered five takeout sandwiches: they were ready 15 minutes late, two of the five had the wrong ingredients despite the correct order on the bag, and two portions of baked potatoes were almost all burned. It's a shame, because the food is worth it, but more attention to service is needed.

Extremely kind and helpful...we had a special deal with the hotel, and even though the reserved seats were in the rows furthest from the sea, he spontaneously moved us closer (maybe he could have because it was the end of the season and they had some free seats, but we really appreciated it).
